Might be a stupid question but does the N24h apply any kind of BoP to the SP9 class cars? Since its so depressing to see the BMW's being so far behind in pace compared to the others in class. :guilty:

Yes, in between sessions, and before the race. Only the audi's gained an advantage in pre race bop, a weight reduction because they were so of pace in qualifying

Then how come the Mercs and Porsches are flying away from the rest of the field. I don't remember the BMW's having any major problems aside from the #99. Even a freaking last gen Aston is faster. :indiff::(

Might aswell go make few cheap cheeseburgers.

Because the BMW in general isn't that great of a car in that form. Which is why it's even better to hope the M8 replaces it soon enough.

I agree in that the M8 hopefully succeeds better but at the same time I fear they do the same to the M8 what they did with the M6, as in change to completely different model right when the M8 is nearing its full potential.

Yes they do. This is the most important race of them all to the German teams. That means loads and loads of sandbags. They have to try and not get fooled by that and apply proper Bop. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they get it wrong....

Feels like BMW forgot to remove any and all sandbags before or during the race. :indiff:

Had to do some household chores and wasn't near to feed, so have they announced when the race will continue? Any specific time or just once the fog has dissappeared?
