hi to all , since the author does not have time for the moment to finish the inside of the 320i BTCC , I wanted to give him a hand , but when I wanted to resume my work this morning all is breaking inside the car?! , so now I don’t have time to finish , I’ll leave you the project if someone finds the time to finish it , thank you

I legit asking in here, are you already talk with Marek person by person before do this? I mean if you want help him you can just DM him on RD not ask in here for help. As far as I remember he still work added some feature to get the mod into 2021 standard keep in mind all mods are starting from 2014, for me you just cross the line by editing the man works wip and post in here without his knowing.

Just curious, are these updates to earlier tracks (by TMM and Track Reboot) or all-new tracks?

I picked up on this back when i did a similar overkill config for the FM7 Bathurst, the tyre bridge for example, because its curved you needed 4 stream_edges on each side (the legion version has reverse layouts), I did every single bustop, sign etc etc.. I think it was like 150 lines of them. In single or triples impact to FPS was marginal, but on VR where you are stressing your card to the max, the impact was quite significant. I tend to edit in some edges or stream edges now at starting positions where you are stopped anyhow so you do notice them. I since gave up on VR as the impact of graphical quality that needs to be sacrificed to get a constant 90fps is just too high, and the bit of immersion you win, is thrown away by having to drive in a minecraft-esque version of the track.

A bit OT but...Sorry if the VR was a bit of a fail for you, but you saved me alot of time and money going through that experiment. I was set to grab the HP G2 but held off due to your comments and I'm glad I did. My suspicions about how I would perceive it match these comments closely. Thanks man!

Some company needs to bang out a U-shaped 65" monitor. I'm on a 65" curve, it's ok, needs alot more curve.

An extension config will only cover up some of the deficiencies, I've now completely reworked the visuals of over 1,000 cars in my collection and I would estimate that 90% at least, needed full extraction and significant material/texture/shader changes and quite often, 3D model changes to get to a reasonable level. So while adding a config will be a decent improvement on some mods, it won't help much with a lot of them.

I’ve never come across a car that was lacking visually that wasn’t helped by just an extension config. Never had to edit a model so far, although it would be handy on a couple of them where meshes should be split so that they can be assigned new shaders separately. Definitely not the majority though.

The white lights look very bright for me inside the car and outside as well, I have lowered "tracks lights" to 10% and it looks like in the photo, I have also lowered something, any solution?

no worries, it was just that we had literally been speaking about the lack of context on some posts with videos and photos yesterday - all good now.

As for your problem you could try looking through the sol config exposure and track settings and mess about in there (if you use SOL that is)

I have also tried to balance the exposure, but it causes me that in dark areas nothing is visible at all, and it also does not solve the failure that white lights illuminate a lot

Thank you for your great work. With "Most" I switched directly to your version. With "Macau", I'm not quite sure yet. Actually, it's only because of this color change house (edit). I like it much more in the old version. I made 2 screenshots here. The red one is the old version and the blue one is the current one. The color itself doesn't matter of course. It's just the timing of the shot. But the current version looks like it's just being shined on instead of shining itself.

Well that depends on which cars you've downloaded, your standards and your capabilities. I would've agreed with you a year ago when I started my editing pipeline, unfortunately nowadays I know better and have had to go back and redo a significant number of cars that I'd previously classed as 'finished', including that RS5 you showed.

It's funny I was just using the other version of Macau last night and thought to myself, hopefully someone will build a better optimized version with better AI and next thing you know....

Thank you for all the good work and the number of quality tracks your team has provided. Keep up the good work and hopefully Long Beach RT version will come in the future :)
