the day before i hade a race everything working fine . next day i try and it doesnt work .nothing change .touch nothing .

Greetings. I've been lurking here for a long time but not posted until now so first of all, a well overdue thanks for all the work put into bringing these mods to us.

I'm wondering if there is a minimal ffb app around with just a slider to increase/decrease strength or maybe even a way to bind these to a keyboard without using any 3rd party keyboard software. A small detail I know but I like to keep a minimal look to my screen while racing and often find that my ffb weakens during longer races, presumably as tyres wear.

guys do you knoow if out there in the wild exists other formula type of cars except from the most known as rss and urd, i know that studio 397 made a tatuus pack for Rfactor2 and also there is the usf2000, are those cars or similar available for AC?

I'm strictly talking about the car physics here:

It's a nice start, but the car has too much longitudinal grip. (0-100 kmh I can do it in 2.5-2.6 seconds)
The speeds achieved in each gear are a bit lower then in real life. This is a common issue of AC if the gear ratios and wheel sizes are set up correctly. Usually decreasing the final drive ratio by 0.1 solves it.
The other issue is with the suspension, which is way too bumpy. I'm not talking about the stiffness, that's fine, but the way the shocks do not absorb any of the bouncing. Chris Harris explains is pretty well, how these shocks are insanely good at this.
Also I think the differential itself is set up in an unreal way. No way to prove this, other than asking Sebastian to do a donut in 1st gear with an exterior camera showing what the rear wheels are doing. But basically my issue is that as of now, (thanks to mostly the ctrl_single_lock.ini (which I never use) and the drivetrain.ini's power and coast differential values) you cannot do a donut. It becomes a car with no LSD when you turn the wheel too much (only 1 wheel spinning resulting in very unstable performance after grip loss).

On the other hand everything else seems to be setup correctly. Lateral grip and aero seems fine (including downforce and drag).

LMAO, Are you seriously trying to school the guy that has driven the real car on the real Nurburgring with more than 50,000KM of experience on the Ring alone alongside data from Manthey Racing, a highly established and reputable race team that broke the Nurburgring record with this exact same car on physics?

I'll grab some links, I know he did an awesome rallycross circuit which I converted over from RF to SCE and then onto AMS1. From the looks of things he was the guy who created Bryce Canyon for RF1.

Would be best to do a game integrity test on game files in Steam. I lost sounds last week after i downloaded some mod cars. I hope this helps.

on the second thoughts i am install 2 new cars but as you say i made integrity test in steam but it doesn't work for me :(

All I can think to do is delete game and do full re install. Make sure you back up all your cars and tracks first.

Have you checked in the Assetto Corsa config settings via the UI (or the in-game audio app) to ensure that the audio driver is still set to the right sound card on your PC? I have had it randomly change on occassions in the past and confuse the hell out of me.

Setups (setup.ini) that have been stored in c:/Documents/Assetto Corsa/setups/car/track are not being recognized in-game. It seems like the game cannot find these files. Windows 10. Content Manager. CSP 177 preview 1. Sol 2.2.1 Thoughts?

Is there a chance to have the brakes of this car not to fully lock-up halfway through? It's just like a winged dwarf entered the the cockpit and pulled the handbrake just for the pleasure of watching you die.

Did you try editing brakes.ini (unless 'No chance of setting up the brakes.' refers to that lol) ? Could either lower the MAX_TORQUE value or adjust the FRONT_SHARE (brake bias) value to make it more rearward

Wasn't sure MAX_TORQUE was the right parameter to tweak. Thanks, will try that later. :)
I meant that the pre-race brake set-up page doesn't appear on this Audi.
