the ones i have marked for me as 5 star & Fav+ F1 cars from the 90s, are all from ASR (www.asrformula.com):
McLaren MP4/5B (1990)
Ferrari 643 (1991)
Minardi M191 (1991)
Ferrari F92A (1992)
Williams FW16 (1994)
Ferrari 412T2( 1995)
Williams FW19 (1997)

definitly check them out (i believe many of them were free even)

The Williams FW19 is probably from VRC Modding. I don't recall seeing one from ASR.

Kunos Mazda MX5 ND (right-hand drive conversion for civilised VR users).
Wipers are on the correct side... they just need animating by magic pixies or AC's version of Rumpelstiltskin.

  • LODs, driver swap, suits/helmets/gloves, shifting animation, paint jobs added by Momma Bongos (whereabouts unknown)

yes,have csp 0.1.78-preview1 installed... but ingame in the menu there's nothing under CSP section (no apps shown there) and in settings CSP I have the Taskbar extension active and all to default...
any advice would be greatly appreciated

edit : never mind, found it !

for others who may face same, I had developer apps tiurned off in CSP settings, under section GUI :

Just came across this "HK51" mod pack searching for some other mod. Don't know if it is any good but the pack also brings some new drivers I didn't have before... The cars seem to be only edits of existing cars.

The CSP wiper config for the mazda_mx5_nd I shared earlier works for the MX5 in this pack, too.

Edit: here's the link again, can be found using a regular search engine so it's not better or worse than Assettoland or other websites that share mods:

thanks for wanting to help chas, but I found already where i had this app switched off (and I turned it back on), so never mind, I'm all good now (and decluthering the Paris track at the moment :) )
 
I must be missing something, is there no way to preview the cars in a respective grid and their liveries? When making a grid I have to jump back to content>cars or press "+" to add a new car and see what liveries I want and again every time I want to check what I've selected already. No preview of the actual car in the hover or in "detailed settings" when chosing a livery.

Help?

Here's another one, I've tried reinstalling the bm_amg_evo_gt3_2020 and it still does the same, the car comes with this skin by default and when I install new skins it does the same, what gives?

Yes, it has an issue with the showroom.

If it's about the multiple number plates: there is nothing wrong with showroom and there's nothing 'wrong' with the skins either. The modder has provided different areas for the number plates depending on the series. It is of course a pita when you want your personalized previews.
In game it has only one number plate, but if you want only one plate in showroom and in previews, you need to make a 'preview kn5' that temporarily replaces the car kn5. Can be done in ksEditor.
For this particular car, to get all skins right, you even have to make a couple different kn5 files.
Here's my (screenshot) preview of the Ring Taxi skin with all the extra numberplates removed, thus showing the underlying numberplate. Iirc, this particular preview kn5 is needed for skins #6, 9 and 22, where the numberplate is baked in the skin.

Edit: here two preview kn5 files I mentioned.
Backup the original kn5 and replace with one of the two preview kn5, depending on the skin. You need to rename the preview kn5 to the original name: amg_evo.kn5.
Make previews and then replace the preview kn5 with the original kn5.

Needless to say it will only work for this particular car. Other cars from the same modder need different files to achieve the same.
