Hi guys, I'm doing a F1 2010 conversion mod and i would need the help of someone who knows his way around textures/liveries, I'm facing a problem where the car has no reflection so the color are "brut" and it doesn't look that nice. Could someone help me with the reflection? Thanks

Question : does anyone know where the new skidmarks fx are stored for each track ? (after elevation change previous skidmark stays on air and I want to reset it)

I made a small correction in the tire file to improve the handling of the Mercedes 300SLR. It goes for everyone. Just copy everything into the "DATA" folder. The file "Mercedes300SLR.FIX" is in the Mercedes post yesterday.

What's the shader used and the values ?
Btw I'd kill for a 2011 season properly ported (not the hybrid job from a couple of months ago)

I'm using 3DSimed for building the car, using kunos editor make some weird result where some part of the car are like "transparent" you can see the right suspension through the left sidepod depending the pov

Did anyone else got a Simplygon update recently?
I just did an hour ago and now CM's LOD Generate no longer works. I'm getting a message "Index was outside the bounds of the array"

Just wondering if anyone else having this problem?

A "fake" Lancia D24 to complement the Carrera Panamericana '53, 12 Hours of Sebring '54 (one version) and Mille Miglia '54 (another version), as well as the Ferrari 375 Plus (53-54)... I'll pass the link at the end of the week, if it's not "deleted" later, it's not 100%, but to fill the grid, I think it's worth it.

Honestly, I've tried them and they're a bit rubbish, firstly because the rider's hands aren't on the handlebars, and secondly, when you're cornering you feel like you're watching a broomstick stand up straight on the saddle.

Serious question: why do people want rideable bikes in Assetto Corsa anyway? Why not play one of the many dedicated bike games that'll do it much, much better than AC will ever be able to? Rally cars and tracks kind of make sense. It's nice to be able to have every discipline in one package.
But I agree with you on the bikes. With csp enhanced physics and the co driver mod you can have an awesome rally experience.

Also the fact that ac has so many historic rally cars that have not been in any rally game before makes it even better

I agree with your point of view.

I dont want to ride a bike in ANY simulation because I have a steering wheel in front of me and not a handlebar. Riding any bike in a simulator feels completely wrong. Even those dedicated bike-sim construction that can be found in some arcade. The ones where you have to sit in the saddle and use weight transfer for steering:

In real life I did ride different bikes for many years on road and track and the feeling is just something different. Those simulators are just for kids.

You are right actually I used the wrong shader, I switched to ksperpixelmultimap and there's reflection now !

Additionally I managed to find a backup of ferrari virtual academy, I have extracted the F10 and F150 model from it and they're actually awesome, it's a shame that kunos didn't use them on assetto corsa.

Those bike, were not done to drive, as the AC physic is not adapted to motorcycle, but they are a great addition to traffic when using traffic with mod like Phoenix77 LAC, as an alternative to have just cars in traffic.

The vanilla starter allows up to 45 Championships at once.
Dont know about CM

Of course there is a possibility creating even more but you have to Save a champ.ini somewhere and than overwrite this one.
You also can Roll back by saving the new one sonewhere and replacing by the old one

Always overwrite one of those existing (up to 45) files.
Never try to create new one if you have already 45 created. Everything will crash.

From Super Hang-On to Afterburner with the 360 cockpit, with Space Ace sounds and dialogue in the background and weird guys selling dope. What an era.
