i had an extra ext_config in the seat skin folder which stopped the rear lights from working. i have removed that as it was not needed and updated the download section and uploaded the car with the 24hr skin so people are not hunting for the car if they want to use the skin.

sorry for any inconvenience i am still learning..........

Don't mind, but I dare to give you some advice: don't be on a hurry to post mods: take your time to review the files, and in the folder you share try to eliminate everything that is not necessary and takes up space (such old backups) or include them in an extras folder... Everything will be more organized and you will make life easier for all, especially for those of us who, like me, are a little clumsy with these things and end up messing up when trying to update the mods... 😅

Thank you.

yeh i agree the rear light problem was on me and that was my mistake i should of checked everything (it took me a while to find the problem) as well as other silly stuff

what i need to do from now on is get the skin totally finished leave it for a day or 2 and go back to it with fresh eyes, its 1 of the downsides to doing 12-14-16 hour days...........your eyes turn pixelated 😂

good feedback i will bear it in mind for the next release

thanks mate

Tried updating my brand badges resource in the file section here, but can't figure out how to add the updated archive file for the life of me. Can't delete only the update and I think I will delete the whole resource entry? Oh, well...

Here's the 3 new icons, one for the DRM mod, one for JDM cars, one for single-make / X cup type of vehicles!

Click the "Post an update" button in the top right corner of the resource page, then select "Release a new version" and upload the new file there. Let me know if you need any more help.

I hate RD's Download system update thingy

That explains it, I selected "Release an update" (?) instead of "Release a new version", thanks!

Any opinions on which Audi R8 LMS 2019 is better, the one from bk or the one from bm? Sorry don't know the author's names.

Hi, have to say Thank you to @Pfalzdriver for this lovely updated car, I think is one of the best looking Porsche, and the mod is very fun to drive!!
Now, just one thing, maybe the AO map for the steering wheel need some fix, because like it sees in the picture, the inner of the steering wheel with the sun in front is shining, and maybe, is it wrong?

Does anyone know what causes this weird interior shadow flickering and can help me get rid of it? Wasn't a problem a few months ago, but now no matter what I do this happens all the time, not constantly, but often enough to be extremely distracting.

could you please help me where I can find the phoenix street circuit? I actually found a patreon side, but I dont want to be member, despite I would donate for this particular track, but in my humble understanding its just possible if I get a member. thx in advance dear gtp community for any hint!

Indeed it was, so my bad. :banghead:

Edit:
Code:
Version 1.2 by Pfalzdriver
- Minor adjustments to suspension
- Added diff in setup
- Minor fixes to extension
- Added hood and trunk animation
- Added car template as PSD
- Added Cinture template with four predefined colours
- Reworked skins by MrHunt

Download at Sharemods or GTPlanet

I recommend a clean installation due to the new skins by MrHunt and I've updated one of 'em again. ;)

First of all thank you very much for your work, bringing another great vintage racecar to AC.
I drove it al lot over the last days, wonderful!

I just wanted to point out that since the update I get FFB clipping and quite heavy steering.
Could of course be a problem on my end as often is the case but version 1 worked flawlessly.

I took the liberty and had a look into the car.ini and found that the values under [controls] were different between the versions...

version 1

[CONTROLS]
FFMULT=1.75
STEER_ASSIST=0.500
STEER_LOCK=360 ; Real car's steer lock from center to right
STEER_RATIO=17 ; Steer ratio
LINEAR_STEER_ROD_RATIO=0.00270

updated version

[CONTROLS]
FFMULT=4.543
STEER_ASSIST=1.00
STEER_LOCK=360 ; Real car's steer lock from center to right
STEER_RATIO=17 ; Steer ratio
LINEAR_STEER_ROD_RATIO=0.00252

I have to add, I know absolutely nothing about car physics, so please don't take this as criticism!

Honestly, 2011 also lack a good mod, I already did a V0.1 but still need a lot of improvements, I aim to make it as good as the 2010 mod I just did, but it'll take some time, I have 2008 already in the pipeline (90% done) and FVA to finish before
Hi, the f1 2010 mods are beautiful, congratulations; I note, however, that the textures of the tires are not the same for all cars; Mclaren Ferrari and Redbull have sharper and more detailed textures. The others, especially in the absence of light, are of lower quality. How do you charge rain tires? A thousand thanks

I dont. :)

Other people (like Paul 🫢) complained about a too light steering wheel, which resulted into a low FFB for them.

Personally I had to reduce the FFB with my CSW2.5 to 67% now instead of 100% before. But FFBClip is my friend since many, many years, old (<5) version tho. ;)

Its always pretty hard to find a compromise, but I've talked to people using a DD and they had no problems with the FFB of v1.2.

FYI, RGB/NM mapping of the steering wheel was basicly not existend, should have checked those textures. Created new ones during my lunch break and will update the car maybe this evening or within the next days.

Thanks for your reply - I'm sure I will be able to find a suitable setting for my own setup.
Looking forward to further improvements of this great car!

Hey, I’ve got the asr 91, 92, 93 F1 cars - the cars are great but I’ve got the following issues and was hoping someone may have some advice.

First the internal engine sound is very low, all the rest of the sounds are great , it’s seems like a surround sound coding issue. It’s ok using headphones, and I don’t have the issue with other cars bar a couple. I’m using the z5500 Logitech speakers. Thoughts?

The second is the steering is too light and doesn’t have the turning into the corner resistance. Force feedback detail and feel is great it’s just the cornering resistance is way too low. Just upping FFB force isn’t the answer as this just makes it heavier all round, I’m just after the wheel to push back on me turning in. Thoughts?

in the setup you should find under "generic" the steer assistant. I always turn it about 20 points down. You feel the difference instantly!
