Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

@Alguecool

I'd say maybe bring some more 80s-90s European beasts to AC, including:

1987 Ginetta G28

1984 Ginetta G26

1982 Citroen Visa II Chrono

1985 Citroen Visa GTI

1988 Fiat Strada 130 TC Abarth

1980 Ford Escort RS1700T

1988 Ginetta G31/1989 Ginetta G32

1980 De Tomaso Longchamp

1992 Lancia Hyena Zagato

And some more underappreciated European rides.

2000 Ford SportKa

1976 Lancia Montecarlo

1992 Ferrari 456 GT

1976 Porsche 924 (+ its other roadgoing variants)

1999 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage

Fiat Strada in Italy is Fiat RITMO 130 abarth........and now i understand why the italians have the sense of beautiful.

not quite the same car but close enough.

the db7 and sister car xk8 are severly under-represented in sim racing. i have both in game but they need someone to give them some love. i have a ton of rare cars, ported in game that need someone with more time and skills to take them over the line.

You're the one who made those teasers on some cars like Howmet TX, Rover BRM, GT70 and A220 right, any updates on those.? The models looked decent as far as i saw

[YOMISMODEMI]

Hi there! someone with the knowledge can make a tutorial on how to add working headlights to a car that doesn´t have them? google has give me nothing...

this? Sigma P1 G5 and Sigma P2

Yeah, those are some of the Brazilian prototypes. Just watch your scaling on them, they should both be the same size, but the P2 on the right is noticeably larger.

hi guys. My sidekick low bar (showing RPM's, gear, etc) has dissapeared from my screen...where can it be? thanks

Mine had disapear on the bottom of the screen, showing only 1mm of it after I used the replay bar.
Had to move it a little higher for it to stop doing it, since I was placing it right at the very bottom of the screen.

FYI, for Ford GT90 by Nabaoui Edited Steve Stirpe V2 (folder ford_gt90), I spent quite some time fixing existing skins, and adding a few new ones...
If you haven't already , throw that bad boy around an oval (eg. Charlotte), it's a great feeling keeping it up to speed without crashing!

been busy doing the WSC 83 stuff at present.

the models ideally need fully re-going over

im always happy to send uncompleted projects over to people who are willing to finish them or help.

I took the first steps. For now the biggest work was creating the rims, they are not 100% the same but for better or worse they look like the original BBS. The model is not in bad shape but still requires a bit of attention.

In addition to the rims I redid the front headlights and fixed the interior that came out of the windows. Tires, calipers and discs are temporarily the TVR ones.

2013- 2012 in the work

2008 will have a big update soon, better models and better physics

FVA will come once this is all done

All of the cars that everyone has proposed so far are very attractive and wonderful, and I would like to build and work on them to run on AC someday. (If you have an ideal 3D model...)

Also, for a long time, I didn't really share the same hobbies and tastes in cars as people of the same nationality, so I realized once again that I am more compatible with people from other countries and here. That may be one of the reasons why I decided to become a MODDER and take action.

Wondering if someone would like to do me a favor. I've been fooling around with making my own ai line for Nordschleife. I have something that seems to work really well, but i'm a terrible driver so I don't know if it's fast enough. Hoping someone could try it out and PM me any spots that need improvements or car types that struggle so I can try those out.

I've tried many types of cars and so far they all work great except for the occasional mod car that just can't handle some of the turns, but those same cars struggled with the stock ai as well so I don't think it's my line. I'm hoping that the ai doesn't brake as hard in a few of the spots that they struggled with on the stock ai line.

If you want to try it, use the link below. Or if anyone has a good custom ai file, please send me a link for that if you can. I just want something I can race with and don't care if it's not my own. Thanks...

Nords_AI

Link updated to new version. No changes to the line, but I tweaked the hints file a bit. Some of the mod cars I use would completely miss the turns in a few spots, mainly through Tiergarten but also in a couple other spots.

Alright Alright Alright, I see a lot of very good proposition and I sure love them, unfortunatly i'm a simple human and I have to make a choice... and it is made, and the project is onward

I bought an old version I think its 1.2. Do you get en email or what?

If you have not received an e-mail, you can also contact them directly. If you can provide them with proof that you purchased the mod back then, they will help you. At least that's how it was for me.

I'm not really much of a modder but i could finish skins for the cars (Mainly just the Rover and Howmet) if you like from every race the car participated in

[peppemuratore]

@Greg_ST congratulations for your work, I like your way of working, few mods but done well and followed over time.
If I can give some advice, the headlights of the car (300ZX) have a light that is too strong and too deep, they burn the textures of objects even hundreds of meters away (ex trees). Is there a way to fix this? Or, which parameter of the file extension could I modify to make it to my liking? Thanks so much again for your work.

Hi guys,

asking for a friend. Can anyone help what could be wrong here:

[alfredwayne]

Hadn't seen this posted yet (maybe I missed it), but it looks like Road Atlanta is back hosted online by JohnR777, with an update too

Previously the track ran a little heavy on my midrange PC, but post 1.6 update, I can run full settings, with grassFX and FPS holds very steady

Visit JohnR777's Shop!

I've opened a shop. Come take a look!

ko-fi.com

Mosport is on there too

Hi guys,

asking for a friend. Can anyone help what could be wrong here:

You need the latest AC 1.16.3 or 1.16.4 and not the crack.
Also install CSP versions manually. Extract the dwrite.dll and the extension folder to AC root folder. Don't use CM to install them!

AFAIK he uses the original game
But thx will tell him...

Are you sure it could be a crack? I mean this would be very dissapointing ... for me ... i mean to be that stingy to crack world´s best GAME ever which even does not cost 100€ or something.....it´s just a shame ... (or would be a shame)
