Alright Alright Alright, I see a lot of very good proposition and I sure love them, unfortunatly i'm a simple human and I have to make a choice... and it is made, and the project is onward

Not a clue. Weeks, months, dunno. It's the thing about modelling a car out of a few blurry pictures : you don't know what's gonna take time... So you don't count.

My current un-employment may affect it too haha.
Making obscur forgotten car mods doesn't pay the bills, a job does. And I would gladly find one, right now. If I do, good news for me, not so much for the mods...

Great news on the outcome, only 75 of those votes were from me so who knows where the other 5 are from?!

What a crazy unique car - I saw this at Classic Le Mans one year and it certainly leaves an impression. Look forward to it actually making the starting grid of a race at long last.

Having read your follow up post though, I hope it takes a long, long time to see the light of day (my way of saying good luck with the job hunt)!

I had a little brain-fart last night while trying to fall asleep. So random, but does anyone know if the original default fictional cars from rFactor were ever converted to Assetto Corsa? Would love to take a nostalgic journey and run cars like the Ronin Autoworks Hammer (I think that was the name) and the OWC cars, etc. on Mills and Toban in Assetto Corsa.

So, were they converted; does anyone have them if so?

This really makes me wish we had all the Brazilian prototype cars like the Metalmoro AJR, the Sigma P1, those sorts of cars from AMS1 and 2. Why they've never been touched either I don't really know.

not quite the same car but close enough.

the db7 and sister car xk8 are severly under-represented in sim racing. i have both in game but they need someone to give them some love. i have a ton of rare cars, ported in game that need someone with more time and skills to take them over the line.

Yeah, those are some of the Brazilian prototypes. Just watch your scaling on them, they should both be the same size, but the P2 on the right is noticeably larger.

Mine had disapear on the bottom of the screen, showing only 1mm of it after I used the replay bar.
Had to move it a little higher for it to stop doing it, since I was placing it right at the very bottom of the screen.

FYI, for Ford GT90 by Nabaoui Edited Steve Stirpe V2 (folder ford_gt90), I spent quite some time fixing existing skins, and adding a few new ones...
If you haven't already , throw that bad boy around an oval (eg. Charlotte), it's a great feeling keeping it up to speed without crashing!

been busy doing the WSC 83 stuff at present.

the models ideally need fully re-going over

im always happy to send uncompleted projects over to people who are willing to finish them or help.

I took the first steps. For now the biggest work was creating the rims, they are not 100% the same but for better or worse they look like the original BBS. The model is not in bad shape but still requires a bit of attention.

In addition to the rims I redid the front headlights and fixed the interior that came out of the windows. Tires, calipers and discs are temporarily the TVR ones.

All of the cars that everyone has proposed so far are very attractive and wonderful, and I would like to build and work on them to run on AC someday. (If you have an ideal 3D model...)

Also, for a long time, I didn't really share the same hobbies and tastes in cars as people of the same nationality, so I realized once again that I am more compatible with people from other countries and here. That may be one of the reasons why I decided to become a MODDER and take action.

Wondering if someone would like to do me a favor. I've been fooling around with making my own ai line for Nordschleife. I have something that seems to work really well, but i'm a terrible driver so I don't know if it's fast enough. Hoping someone could try it out and PM me any spots that need improvements or car types that struggle so I can try those out.

I've tried many types of cars and so far they all work great except for the occasional mod car that just can't handle some of the turns, but those same cars struggled with the stock ai as well so I don't think it's my line. I'm hoping that the ai doesn't brake as hard in a few of the spots that they struggled with on the stock ai line.

If you want to try it, use the link below. Or if anyone has a good custom ai file, please send me a link for that if you can. I just want something I can race with and don't care if it's not my own. Thanks...

Link updated to new version. No changes to the line, but I tweaked the hints file a bit. Some of the mod cars I use would completely miss the turns in a few spots, mainly through Tiergarten but also in a couple other spots.

@Greg_ST congratulations for your work, I like your way of working, few mods but done well and followed over time.
If I can give some advice, the headlights of the car (300ZX) have a light that is too strong and too deep, they burn the textures of objects even hundreds of meters away (ex trees). Is there a way to fix this? Or, which parameter of the file extension could I modify to make it to my liking? Thanks so much again for your work.
