i suddenly have problems with the driver head showing on some cars. helmet clipping into view in VR. for instance on the Formula Hybrid 2019. what's the best fix for this?

Same here, in my rear view mirrors. Tried messing with settings, but haven't found a solution yet.

I had a Problem once with some F1 cars, the drivers was sitting on the ground and not in his seat. Updating CSP fixed it

Thanks for the reply... I'm currently running latest CSP version and previous version of SOL. I'll try updating SOL, and reloading CSP, and see what happens.

Also thanks for your work, good stuff. BTW this reminds me, is there a fix for the Acura DPI's mirrors?

i never noticed the mirrors cause im only on a single screen and you dont see any mirrors.
if its just a shader issue, i can try and fix it. And thank you

Yes, I drive in VR, the side mirrors are solid silver. Other DPI's are all good. That would be great if you can figure this out, I love driving these things.

I guess it's an issue in the driver3d.ini
There should be sections called [HIDE_OBJECT_0] [HIDE_OBJECT_1] and so on. there you can insert the names of the objects you want to be hidden. I guess (i'm NOT sure) you could just copy this from a pretty much similar car like the SF 70H

edit : wrong quote, but anyways it's about Acura mirror issue.

Solution is here with fixed mirror

Guys i have a griiip aprilla mod car and game crashes due to missing driver, anyway i can fix this myself?
cheers in advance

you have to go to the driver3d.ini and change the

[MODEL]
NAME=driver_whateveritiscalled
to
[MODEL]
NAME=driver

this works for me

Usually related to the mirrors in mirrors.ini not pointing to the right material name.
Check the name of the material in CMShowroom, verify if it matches the name of the material in mirrors.ini. If it does not copy the name in CM Showroom and paste it in minors.ini.

Edit: sorry for the double post.

[gladbecker82]

@Amilsano,

Here's a replacement mirrors.ini file. Just change the file extension from .txt to .ini and drop it inside the data folder for the Acura, overwriting the original. That will get your mirrors working again.

And yes; if you increase the default amount of fuel in the tank, the car will always start with that amount.

i can confirm this is working on the acura thanks

Guys and gals, English only please. If you want to converse with one another in your native tongue (or any other language for that matter) take it to private messages, but do keep things on the up and up. 👍

open the dds file and just paint over it.Than save it again as a dds. I used Gimp before but actually prefer paint.net because imo it is easier to work with

Thanks I'll try that because it doesn't seem like you can remove the number 65 from the skin

Hi everybody,
I'm working on this skin for the RSS 360. About the only thing left is this Daytona 24 sticker on the door.

I have no idea what it looks like. Maybe somebody has a better picture of it? Any help appreciated.
Once done it should be ready to go in a day or two.

NM the awful colours in the CM showroom. And obviously those driver names need alignment...

looks like the event logo to me. Which year is that skin?

[hal4000]

Yeah forgot to mention that. It's the 2004 Daytona 24 hours.

[gladbecker82]

Found it. @hal4000
Nothing to difficult to recreate, i searched for proper Logos but nothing.

[hal4000]

@gladbecker82

That was quick! Thank you so much. I was looking for hours and couldn't find anything about it.

Find and copy any other kn5 driver file and rename it to the cars exact name. Stick it in the drivers folder - it don't care.

Just a guess, but try clicking on the number in CM Custom showroom, I'd suspect the number is a separate file. If you're lucky you may be able to simply delete it...

yes, click on the number and export, and if necessary use the eraser in your photoshop.
keep the file in the folder you need it tho
