While I try to make some of the additions from @Masscot recently released Additional layout for Kunos Spa mod work on my Spa_2022 mod, I made this quick track skin to change all of the flags from sponsor flags to country flags just for a little change up every now and then. Feel free to give it a try.

Did someone blow up your fake Ferrari?

Heh, another Miami Vice fan here I see.

The legend says that Enzo himself was pissed that they used a fake Daytona in the show and Ferrari donated two genuine Testarossas to them. But only if they agreed to blow up the fake.

Don't know if it's true or not but it's a great story and it made a good episode.

Personally I always liked the looks of the Daytona more. Testarossa is an icon but no one can say it's timeless, pretty design.

Wow, what a surprise! Excellent work, thank you so much! Just took the Audi around a few circuits, and what a quality mod with great ai too. Don't want to get out the Audi yet and looking forward to the other two. A mod for keeps ;-)

When working on physics, I try to put a lot of effort into the AI testing it at multiple tracks. There are a lot of high-quality mods in general that have shockingly bad or poor AI(IER Simulations' recent mods). Many needs just basic edits to the ai.ini, as people know on here, with so many modders encrypting data.acd's(Many of the patreon bros). You can't fix it. I personally don't mess with mods with terrible AI that cannot be edited.

IER has never gotten enough flak for how much they charge for cars that do not function outside of hotlapping. Which is a shame - I am still sour over how great the P13C is (minus the ability to pull out brake pressure enough), but cannot race it in very simple scenarios against AI.

The AI are an absolute joke on basically all of their cars (I think the Oldbac is the only one that's OK from a few tests IIRC, the most recent P13b is trash again), and every time I've brought it up over the years they've handwaved it like it doesn't matter. Even worse, they refuse to offload the work to others who are able - likely because their work is sooo damn good. 🙄

Very off-putting and arrogant behavior. A trait unfortunately rampant in AC modding nowadays.

Why has ACTK published the Astra 2002 on his website? Is there any need to fix something without counting on the original modders? Or there is a special need to double content in separate links to (mis)appropriating of each ****ing content done by modders here?

Let's talk about this possibility, sounds interesting
Just visit the OVHcloud website (his current host of his website) and file an DMCA claim on anything he's posted that you know is yours.

Obviously its going to be hard with ported content, However OVHCloud does not need to know that and from what i have seen they don't give a **** to look it up either. We used to file DMCA claims trough them for skyrim mods back in the day on re-hosters and they never asked for any "concrete" proof other than showing that we worked on x content before x content was uploaded on that website.

But if you really want to put him in a pickle, Find the original owners email (heres the fun part) put those in and see. We wiped an entire modding re-hosting site doing that back in 2019 because we inserted Activisions direct communication email as our email which notified them of it lol. You could probably do the same with AC, ACC, LMU, ACR, ACEvo and more if you really want to.

You can also just send them an normal abuse report if you don't want to deal with DMCA stuff. However no point in spamming it, But if you are doing several reports with different links it will most likely give them some more fire.

Thank you for your advices. I've taken the last option. Easy and fast, added links and proofs.

Hoping that more people will start reporting to stop this sad behaviour.

Meanwhile, the automatic answering service says:
"It's important to note that most of our services are rented "unmanaged" to our customers. This means that we only have physical access to the server and cannot access its content (no root, administrator, or user access). We are technically unable to modify or delete content, or making an abusive behavior stop by intervening directly on the server, as it is not managed by us.

We will however transmit the technical information of your report to the customer managing the infrastructure concerned, and we will follow this ticket to its resolution.
You'll find at the end of this e-mail the technical details you've sent us, for reference."

Fantastic mods! Congratulations and thank you for your work.
One thing that defines top-quality mods is the strength of the gyroscopic effect at the center. There is no wheel oscillation IRL — the gyroscopic forces are strong enough to prevent it — but it’s often present even in high-quality mods. Usually, to remove this oscillation, you have to resort to settings that take all the feeling out of the car — a tradeoff between FFB detail and stability.
This one, however, is absolutely perfect. A solid center, plenty of road feel, and zero oscillation.
It's witchcraft from someone who truly knows what they’re doing.
Thank you again!

Thank you, but I was only responsible for the visuals, making sure all the displays worked. The physics, and I must emphasize this, was handled by @Peugeot905 /RMS, who really know their stuff. They've helped me many times with the physics of individual mods, and I'm grateful to them for that.

P.S. I also have to mention @Masscot, who tried to create the gear shift animation. However, since the driver ergonomics in the cars aren't quite right, it was very difficult to implement perfectly.

Always inventing/adapting some car that we lack.
This time, the chosen one was the Rover-BRM Turbine (LM 1963).
Instrument panel (it's out of action...)

I found few technical details, 825Kg, approximate power of (150 bhp).
Top speed?

In the initial test (with some Lotus 56 Turbine by Legion data), it left the pits, at least running.

Today or tomorrow, test on the full Le Mans track (for lap time comparison).
At least to complete my historical grids.

Later, if anyone is interested, I will share it.

The 2002 ABT Audi TT-R from the 2002 DTM pack, the model is from Raceroom. The Forza ABT Audi TT-R is based on the N24/VLN car from 2003, as corrected by @FrustratedUse. In 2002, the ABT Audi TT-R received aerodynamic packaging changes and bodywork changes to extend the overall length. From the ABT Audi TT-R time from 2000-2003, the car received extensive changes espcially threw 2000-2002.

No, The Forza model is based of their N24/VLN car from 2003. You can tell by the wing height and the lack of side aero that they put on the car for 2004
1768194869917.webp

2004 same wing but they put aero flaps near the rear wheels
1768194962155.webp

They didn't even run that wing for the 2001 season of DTM, They did have an low profile aero wing though.

Can you imagine, just for a moment (in an ideal world, of course), that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named would selflessly contribute with his supposed knowledge about LODS and other such paraphernalia to these kind of projects?

Sighhh!, daydreaming... 🥲
