My bad, rookie error...
family-guy-respect.gif

Publicly acknowledging mistakes honors the person (and while, it gives me the chance to slip in a meme...)

By way of apology and as reparation for my earlier numbskullery, here's an alternative driver model for the Yuki Supra (his feet almost reach the pedals now!) plus a more appropriate shifting animation, with the action of the Hewland shifter reversed to match it (ie now forwards, not backwards).

1784110796271.webp

Remove the .txt extensions from the attached and add to the car's Animations folder after backing up the originals.

Also, for corrected animation timing, unpack the data and amend this entry in driver3d.ini:
Code:
[SHIFT_ANIMATION]
BLEND_TIME=100
POSITIVE_TIME=385
STATIC_TIME=10
NEGATIVE_TIME=385
PRELOAD_RPM=7300
INVERT_SHIFTING_HANDS=1

Thanks again for the data update @Pilot3331, great work as usual - the car is now a lot more visceral to drive.

I saw here much anger for that ACTK type guy, makes some modders quit of modding.
I personally download cars and tracks from it's OG source. But yelling for "stealing mods" or keeps their mods private on their own HDD have no point for me.
Some months ago someone shows his Toyota POD. Still no release because of ACTK guy (fear of "theft", probably)
Meanwhile Jugee8 still creates fantastic cars, non encrypted, for free. What a duality of people
Maybe that was why Koldo's mods had encrypted

No worries. If You dont mind this will be included in following update.

Not really an update for BR1, just want to share SMP and carbon liveries i made. Didn't had as much time as i wanted to work on it in the past two weeks. I'll leave the last 2019 Gulf DragonSpeed livery for later, for now I'll focus only on getting the car into the game. HD images https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCVq13

While talking to @Tyson3 about lesser-known tracks, we decided to convert this one from his city; it’s a nice, fast track. Although the AI is still a work in progress (he’s handling that), I’m really struggling to set up a functional EXT_CONFIG—the trees keep disappearing at times. Honestly, I really liked the variety and colors, so I’d love to get it working right. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Ceky just released a new version of the M3 Touring, which has a new model that seems more accurate to the car from the N24. @Pilot3331 would you be willing to take a look and see if your physics overhaul can be transferred over to it easily? I would try it myself I just personally don't know what inis other that the lods one should not be copied over.

Hi.
Hmm did he not improved his physics with it!? Maybe its not so bad? :) Im not shure, right now very busy with other stuff. Maybe some time later.

Team FB, You can find them on facebook. Their mods are bottom of the barrel stuff.
Hello, hope you guys are well.

Anybody ever found their 2024 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale laying around? Have been trying to find a mod for this car, but sadly couldn't spot anything, very shady information in general, including patreon. Only managed to find an AssettoGrid entry confirming it's existance. If their Tazio concept managed to get out there, there's a little hope the 33 did as well :)

BBBBBOOOOOOOOOMMMMM! although it wasn't me who pointed any issues out but i will absolutely take the credit for it :wink:

Only thing i found is the rear banner is not visible from the inside but does this really matter? not to me but it may matter to some

EDIT** i do not know if this was you or just how the car came but thankyou ( or someone) for not putting the AO on the OG skins........it made it so much easier for me to change and modify it to get it correct to real life

No don't worry Bro' =) You manage to make some stuff that I not manage to do. I saw how you manage to do it and I implant this with my texture (only the front and rear banner). The hard work was the "Galladé" logo. I make my own because I don't find one on Google. I only make the #42 not the #43 ! So thank you for your work =) !

Thats the ones! i never knew it said "MODULE FUR ANTIEBSTECHIK" on them though.......how did you find this?

Galladé innit.

Since JK has released the PMR car I reshare his previous iteration of that car which was a port from GRID Legends - I renamed the folder so it wouldn't conflict with the newer car :)

All credits to him for ripping, porting, working on it. I just did the skins (which cover the years 2003 to 2005) and didn't want those precious hours to be lost for nothing lol.

Maybe y'all will find a suitable logos to use on the newer car.

The skins are not showing.......when i click number 42 or 43 i get number 10 in the showroom.......

without even inspecting, the number 42 and 43 skins that i done are more accurate plus the plates are in the correct place.

not saying you done these but i'm just saying what i see with my own eyes. the colouring alone is more accurate on my skin let alone anything else.

infact it does not matter what i click on the skins you supplied i get the same number 10 in the showroom....eveytime....even on track

Also thankyou for your work i am pleased to see most of the skins for this car

car on track for reference:

the people can and will make up there own mind...........

Hi.
Hmm did he not improved his physics with it!? Maybe its not so bad? :) Im not shure, right now very busy with other stuff. Maybe some time later.
Well, I only ask because I thought it would be a simple matter of just copying over the work you already did for like 99% of it. I did copy everything except the lods ini just as a test and it did mostly work so maybe I can get this working on my own. I'm probably going to be converting the skins I have to match it too.

No problem, You do it. But I must warn, that this is common misconception among moders. That's why there is so many ill driven mods. It's never just copy paste work, even if You paste RSS physics, of something. It's easier because You can spare research phase, as it was already done.
Copy paste in this case will be more or less decent only if new model is based on old one and have same meshes names, and same 3d coordinates.

If he wants, Easy/Bruno can use AI slop to make kindergarten level models or physics instead of stealing from others and brand them as his.

I do hope and pray that he gets the karma he deserves from stealing and ruining the AC modding community.

I just went along with the GRID Legends and GTR2 skins but you're right, it actually ain't worth ****, as with everything I've done now that I think about it. It's all pointless.

Feel free to remake those for the PMR car because I don't wanna do stuff nor play AC anymore, ultimately it's time lost that I'll never get back and with the dwindling number of creators and modders...

So long and thanks for all the fish :)
