Hi, is a i7 4790k, 16GB RAM and a RX590 enough to play AC (with slight Mods) these days?

If yes, would an i5 4460 be ok too?

Thank you!
in 2019 until 2022 i run AC with mods & pure using

AMD Athlon X4 860k to Intel I5 4690
GTX 750 TI 4GB to GTX 1060 6GB

And minimum bare ram of 2x4=8GB DDR3

So yes it can run Assetto Corsa with mods but tweak the settings.

Ask this guy https://www.overtake.gg/threads/better-graphics-performance-for-medium-pc-csp-preset.275270/
Or check out his low spec settings at https://m.youtube.com/@scgmike7805/videos?ra=m
I would stay to the i7-4790k, the i5-4460 is a low performance CPU that will lead eventually to a disappointment.
Warning: If wanting to install Windows 11 on this 4th gen. CPU system you need to use the Rufus USB install method.

Happy racing!

No mention at all about the crackling audio being fixed, and I instantly get a >99% CPU occupancy warning.
Hard pass.
And the CSP preview generation is bugged again? At least for me, random cars render previews without proper shadows and so on, making the preview look like it's from 1997.

I have also been running 361 with good results for a time now, reverting there solves the issue. Haven't tried a 100% clean reinstall, but I'm a bit reluctant to do so, because there is nothing new for me in the newer versions, so I'll just stick with 361.

Yes, I also have problems with preview generation.

Hi, I had a problem on two tracks, "Sebring70" and "Milano Castello": I entered the pits in first place and immediately, without being overtaken during the pit stop, rejoined the track in 15th place. The AI also had this problem. What happened? It's perhaps a problem with the position of the start/finish line on the straight? Thanks.
(obviously the result of the race is distorted)

Btw what about the M3 from FSR? I did not test that yet, is it worth it?

FSR's stuff are eh. The times his stuff is good it's always because everything else is stolen from someone else. His physics are just stolen from VRC, RSS, Chem and list goes on. He's decent at making an car look good but that's about it.

At this moment, You are better off using the F302 car, or the ACF one but i got my issues with the ACF people that makes me not want to use it.

FREE RELEASE : Renault Twingo 1.6 K4M700 Swap | Real Build Assetto Corsa

Hey everyone,
A few weeks ago Instagram threw Twin Crow's K4M-swapped Twingo on my feed, and I immediately fell in love with the sound so I decided to bring this little rocket it to AC!

If you’re French, you probably know how iconic the K4M is. If not, you’re about to find out 😄

Along with the real K4M sound mod, I also tried to match the current state of the real project with:

  • Real 1.6 K4M700 power and torque curve, adjusted for the custom 60 mm exhaust and Group N cam timing like the build.
  • Clio 1.6 16V JB3 gearbox ratios matching Twin.Crow’s transmission swap.
  • Updated weight to reflect the engine swap (from the 1.2L engine to the 1.6L) + the drivetrain swap

It's still a work in progress and I'll keep updating it as Twin Crow keeps evolving the real build so follow me and him!

Checkout the Video Preview:
🎥 Comparison (real car vs Assetto Corsa): ⬇️

Download: 👉

Note: The Sound can be swapped onto other K4M-powered Renault mods, including the Clio II, Clio III, Mégane, Scénic and Laguna

Huge thanks to Twin Crow for letting me use his build as inspiration. Go follow him on instagram to keep up to date with the build.

TLDR: I recreated Twin Crow’s K4M-swapped Twingo in Assetto Corsa using recordings from the real car.
