So I keep getting CSP crashes when trying to do any race, even with fresh installs and vanilla content.

I have to use 0.2.11 as a “stable” and disabled extended physics just to get practice sessions to work but races will work 50% of the time with 1 opponent, any more and it always crashes.

Disabling CSP works for races, so it’s clearly a CSP issue.

Any version that’s a 0.3 preview just crashes with a mismatch version message whether practice or race.

Any suggestions for a fix?
@CTRL Garage you are definitely not alone in this. I have similar problems (all of a 'sudden', i.e. since 1 or 2 weeks or so).
Done everything, even reinstalled Windows 11 x64 (IoT LTSC 2024 to be more specific) to start all over again in fresh state.
Initially reverted to CSP v361 (coming from v649) for the sake of it and guess what...BOOM... AC also crashing (and I mean within 2 or 3 seconds). Installed v212 and...up to now all good! I don't really understand all this anymore, previously (up to CSP v649 that is) all was fine and splendid. Some windows related influences with updates perhaps? I really don't know.
No problem though, guess I have to play more than fiddling with 0 and 1... The REAL benefit of all this is that I now solely installed all my really favorite car and track mods and as such a better AC install after all. But hey, something is 'wrong' with v0.3 previews indeed, at least on your and my end. Hope this gets some sort of a fix (or all is just fine for CSP and...Windows needs to find a fix?)
If you have a better suggestion than what I did, feel free in informing, am curious to know.

Hello

I am pleased to announce the release of my latest track:

Créquy/St Michel sous Bois
Download on Overtake :

https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/créquy-stmichel-sousbois.87417/

A famous special stage from the Rallye du Touquet. It features a 15km layout (2025 version) and a 12km layout (2024 version) with a different finish line.
Includes 25 pit spots and options to race in "race weekend," practice, or qualifying modes against AI cars that actually complete the stage!

Features 350 custom-built structures across three villages and several hamlets.

Be sure to read the readme file!

Select a date around March 15th: 2025 offers fair weather, while 2024 brings rain!

Another JCRR banger, Thanks for providing us with actual decent rally stages.

Ok I’ve fixed it, started a whole new install again but this time installed C++ redist updated and a windows update today, got CSP latest preview 675 by extracting it first before copying and pasting to the steam folder(I think this prevents any corrupt dll’s), also ensured I had steam open and now I can run full grids with better graphics.

“Flying Banner Plane” is not included in Track.
I think it's a different app.
I did not modify your track, as I’m waiting for your needed corrections before merging by cherry picking. Here is the prove: Please look at the two screenshots I did include in an earlier post, are these your hovering mountain walls?
If these mountain walls are yours, then it’s good to know screen shots are from one round at the same Lienz track.

Btw @Perico Lospa I have also particles enabled, but I’m on the CSP2.12 Could it be your are using a particle APP from Patreon. Sorry I do not know the creators name.

Could someone kindly remind me how to fix that watercolor-like effect that appears on trees at a certain distance? It’s started happening recently—it wasn't there before—and it only goes away if I set DLSS to DLAA 100%, but then my FPS tanks.
Everything looks fine when I get closer; it happens on all tracks.

Thanks.

Yes, I'm also interested in the answer! I thought it was an issue with the tree cutouts, but sure enough, depending on the CSP/Pure tests and versions, it sometimes disappears... it also depends on the in-game season/time...

Thank you for this, done the exact same things but...no dice...
Back to v212p1 and all good for now. Guess every single system is different in the end.
But am really happy that you managed to get is back up and running. Lucky you :-)
My search for "the holy grail" in regard to working combinations continues nevertheless.

GT Life update 5.79: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/down...-mode-launcher-for-assetto-corsa.7834/updates

CHANGELOG:
  • replaced main menu pictures with non-AI ones
  • added Pure to weather settings in Career Generator
  • in points championhsip added option to customize points system
  • added option to choose random session start time
I gave this app a try, but is there any feature that allows me to manually edit cars with incorrect PR values? Since key systems like vehicle classes and pricing rely heavily on PR, this is a critical issue.

In Tomorrow's update I will make it possible to manually change car's PR. While developing GT Life I did many adjustments to PR rating system and I think it works quite good, but I am aware it's not perfect and other players on GT Life Discord also asked for option to manually change cars PR. There's only one downside - if you manually change car's PR, tuning algorythm that calculates how many PR should car gain after particular upgrade, might go crazy (and for now I don't know if can make it work right with manually inserted PR values - but I will try)

And aside of that, how do you like GT Life in its current state?
