My favorite:Tesla Roadster Event - Flying Car ... Lots of other memes have been done...
My favorite:
Nothing like seeing people talk up an Nazi like he's the next coming of Jesus all because he made an empty shell do an stupid trick. Anyone could have done this. It wouldn't surprise me if there are literal wires also involved cause nothing that Nazi freak isn't involved with some fakery. And here I thought I'd be immune to people falling for Muskrat's ********.
****s sake. Who gives a toss about that stuff ? It'll never fly, will never be commercialised and will never see the might of day, much like the previous Roadster.
No wonder people are being fooled by AI videos and pictures on the web if they believe in that stunt lmao.
I want to say that it's most likely a over-eager "new tarmac" shader conflicting with a pp-filter? And the racing-line has the "groove" texture overlaid making it look different? I looks like if the groove wasn't there, the track would be that dark full-width? Perhaps test with the standard pure pp-filter?Good point hahaha

Bah, itās just a silly short video showing a traffic jam of flying Teslas, while an old-school guy drives alone calmly along the road in an combustion-engine car...Unfortunately, Microsoft Browser has blocked the link-content, so not able to view your post. Something you found on tiktok I presume...

By the way, I belong to that endangered species that, aside from WhatsApp, has never had a profile on any social network: not Facebook, not Instagram, not TikTok... none at all. I saw that meme somewhere, and when I searched for it on Google to share it, that link came up.
I haven't seen anyone talking about this incredibly well-done fictional circuit "Thornton Park".
The detail in the environment is very high, and yes you do get to drive over the viaduct in its' figure-eight layout.
It's pretty easy to find by googling and I've downloaded and gave it a shot, definitely staying in my track rotation now.

edit:
can't wait for this stunt-car to be used in the next James Bond or Fast 'n' Furious flick... it will be awesome!
Sure thing @Pasta2000... I was just having fun being inspired by real-world innovation, and not just a personalised feel-good & awe-looking preview preset...Can we get back to finding the ultimate preview presets please

that's my 1st 'poo' for the day, or ever, since 2020...
what have you contributed to GTP lately @Stupornaut?
Lots of yapping not enough previews.Sure thing @Pasta2000... I was just having fun being inspired by real-world innovation, and not just a personalised feel-good & awe-looking preview preset...
In the background to all that has transpired over the last 6yrs on this thread - since page #1, I've been burning my PC hardware hot clocking just over 7,000 hrs on AC alone + many more on other racing games and have handsomely contributed alongside the likes of you and other dedicated modders a wealth of goodies for all to have - for free!
Lets see now, 6yrs = roughly 2192 days, divided into 7000hrs, is approx. 3hrs each day on AC... and that's just racing my butt off. add the time it takes to do replay-cams and liveries galore, I'd would say preview presets are definitely not on top of the priority list, respectfully speaking of course... what say you?

Got ya! Respectfully speaking though, you too can dish out a lot of cynicism disguised with dry-humour, and you know about it. But happy to get back to the previews... I'll be attentively watching/reading.Lots of yapping not enough previews.
Got ya too!In Spain, we say that if we want to get along well within a group, itās best not to talk about politics, religion, or football (soccer, for the other side of the pond)... and thatās not bad advice, guys... š
Thatās right; we already have enough problems in real life, no need to bring them here, into this SIMulated life...... not into politics, and prefer a big doze of humour & laughter instead... it works to balance out the day quite comfortably...
Nice, I'm doing some real life liveries for it, currently on the 1989 #16 Stroh's livery, in case others are doing the same.View attachment 1572918

Thanks for the mod @JK1977.
As always, thanks for asking @fleskebacon... If time is on my side over the upcoming weekend, I wish to drive this monster looking mod, and then think about what fictional livery may be suitable - just to add some for the grid I suppose. Cheers, and look forward to seeing your creativity.Nice, I'm doing some real life liveries for it, currently on the 1989 #16 Stroh's livery, in case others are doing the same.
Thanks, I'm struggling with some of the same. I don't think the entire map is stretched though, just some parts of it. So I'm just stretching the decals that need stretching, until it looks right on the model. Not a very good uv-map, to be honest. As always, thanks for asking @fleskebacon... BTW and a heads up, the model is based on 4096 by 4096 scale, but the mod image has been somewhat stretched and looks skewed, you may find it awkward for decal placement etc... I did a 2048x3072 scale DDS and was far better for the eyes...

Rather than reinventing the wheel, would you want a copy of it instead? Just let me know, and will shoot one your way via DM.
These mods that are somewhat skewed require more time, mainly because you'll also need to constantly go into showroom mode (or ingame like I do) to see if decals look OK, perspective-wise. And we could not really place more demand on @JK1977, as he's been too busy complying with user-requests to pump out models from various other games... I do empathise with the likes of modders that port cars & tracks or make from scratch, there's a plethora of work involved. Absolutely, this is not the worst uv-map I've seen, it's perfectly servicable. But a bit awkward. I usually just keep CM showroom open in background, and then just alt-tab there to see how things are working. These mods that are somewhat skewed require more time, mainly because you'll also need to constantly go into showroom mode (or ingame like I do) to see if decals look OK, perspective-wise.
