Just wanted to say a big thank you for pointing this out. I took some time this morning to finally figure out how it works and it is exactly what I needed to fix the mirrors. I was a little concerned that having to use the Real Mirrors option in CM was going to be costly on my rather modest system but I haven't noticed any performance dip so it's all good. Thanks again...

You need to enable the "Real Mirrors" option in the CSP "Smart Mirror" settings. The configs are typically stored in C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension\real_mirrors.


The app was linked in Ilja's last Patreon post together with the 0.1.78 preview1. I've been a long time user of the BLMCar app but this new app is even more useful.

I prefer the Mid-Ohio by Zwiss. You can find it in Breathe's AC Tracks Listing google sheet. Rows 899 and 900 in the Real sheet.

You need to delete the android logo with the same background color of the file. Then add the new on the same position, as where the the android logo was before, add the logo in white on the alpha channel and thats it.

What i do first, is to set the position of the real logo for replace it with the new one. like you can see here:

then delete the old logo:

then add the new logo:

delete the logo in alpha channel:

add the new logo in alpha channel:

then save it as dxt5 with interpolated alpha:

finished 😁

But be careful, this mountain road is like a rollercoaster ride. And in VR it looks almost scary to drive close to an edge.

Agree #2. The one in that video I think is Zwiss', but with a different track mesh and trees\tree textures. It's much more bumpy and the vegetation and trees are way oversaturated, IMO.

Trying to use the Car Mirrors Configurator from Ilja, all I get in game is a gray window.
It is presently installed in AC/apps/LUA, should it be in AC/apps/Python?

Correct directory.

LUA apps need the new taskbar to work like with the Pure config.
CSP > GUI > New UI > New taskbar.

This track is amazing. The visuals are really clean but everything has a realistic feel to it. The towering mountains create a nice atmosphere, that one overgrown wall/abutment looks terrific... Memorable visuals! All delivered with great performance, as far as I can tell.

And it drives well too! Feels smooth, flows well, has lots of interesting undulations (I'm a bit biased and like when a track isn't flat). Love it!! I can see myself driving on this quite a bit in the near future.

At the end, I sell myself to the highest bidder. I could feel bad for ACFL because they made the model from scratch, but there are many inaccuracies that makes me think that their modeller didn't saw all the cars at all the angles. That's not a good and profesional work. Also the materials/shaders are not at the level of a modding studio.

Overall, all of their cars are the same.

Yeah, don't get me wrong I don't mind using the models but the fact that they, or most teams actually charge money for this kind of work is nothing short of a scam. Like they can't be bothered to even meet Kunos standards and yet have the audacity to actually charge money for them. It's a shame many aren't actually aware of a lot of this (which I can understand) hence why they're able to actually sell this stuff

Hey mate, I'm not super familiar with stuff like this... mostly just been doing practice laps in Assetto since I got it a little while back, but was wondering if something like this can be taken but the cars swapped out? I purchased the ACFL F1 2022 today, as the cars are all modelled differently (and had some spare money so though ehh, why not) and was wondering if I could insert them into this championship/career instead of the RSS one?

Thanks for all your work though. I've looked through some of your previous stuff and looks incredible. Thank you.
