is the AI even stopping for new tyres?

They done it in a 15 lap race at Silverstone but not in a 30 lap race at Yas Marina...
What are the criterias?

Yes they can stop for tires. You have to make sure the data has an ai_tyres.ini file inside which designates the tires life. About 80% of cars made these days don't have this file.

In a similar fashion, I could use some help in understanding how ai reacts to fuel and re-fueling.

I made a ten laps race and I won because in the last lap (last meters of the last lap, lol) my opponent went for the pitboxes.
Then I made a 30 laps race and I was the only idiot who went for the pitboxes loosing 8 positions.

Same track (Daytona Road), same cars (Gt4 pack)

You can't make custom previews - CM will throw the 'no memory' error every time. Update preview -> option works... Only once. Then you can't save the preview as CM will crash. Hard.
In-game ? The bonnet camera is not even placed right (you're sat on the engine, for some reason). Invisible bonnet, too, from that POV.
Brake lights apparently don't exist in Turkey.
I'm not raging about the encryption because with guys like EASY around appropriating other people's work there's no other way but at least see if everything works right lol. It's the same encryption as lorelord's and MNBA's mods, meaning you should be able to see the car in showroom and make previews but you can't.


It could've been a 10/10 mod if it was optimized and finished. But it's not. And it is the first and only mod I have installed that crashes CM every time lol

Didnt have any problem changing the preview. Havent tried the car yet tho, so cant tell for the other points.

What's with Turkish modders and them releasing mods that break CM ?
The AMG Hammer found on Facebook (FH4 port) being the worst offender.

Maybe @petercrill will make one that won't be a steaming pile of dog **** in the future ?

hi, i was about to try out that AMG Hammer... but then i'll first ask : what do u mean "break CM" ?
(can i backup something before giving it a go ? or should i really just not be tempted at all to run this mod ? )

EDIT: never mind, i saw your earlier statements thx to the post above that crossed w mine. ps: i was able to make custom reviews... (but cm does crash after 1 or 2 ... then i need to restart CM before i can make another skin and custom preview)

EDIT2: If you want, here 4 extra skins i made for this beauty.

But indeed , the brake lights are not functioning propperly.
Anyone can post an altered ini file so that the lights go on when hitting the brakes?
(regular lights are visible quite clearly w this one, even without PP , so if that would become the brake lights, it would be usable for as workaround)

Thanks to ZombieBoy1978's suggestion for finding trees, it's slowly coming together. I think summer looks a bit too warm and i'm torn on whether to leave the faded vintage look or go with a more realistic color depth. Or it could just be my ppfilter of choice. Too many variables to consider.

Would like a quick opinion of these two pics and determine interest if I should bother with another Sandevoerde update or just use this myself. I'm not a fan of the deeper, richer look to the textures SL used on the 73 version of the track. They don't blend as well as the 60's versions. So I messed around with lightening the grass masks. Which do you prefer or should I shoot for something in the middle of these two? And I just noticed i've gotta do something with those distant bush textures. Thanks as always for any feedback...

However, I'm having a really strange experience with the Zandvoort ones in that I just cannot get it to load the extension file for the life of me. I'm no novice with AC and have plenty of experience tinkering with files, but doesn't matter what combo of skins or the different configs I try, I'm having absolutely no joy.

Not expecting you to troubleshoot that BTW, it's clearly something on my end, just letting you know why I'm not feeding back on some of your WIP, however much I'd like to!

I took the Merc for a test drive yesterday and the brake lights worked fine for me (CSP 0.1.78p1, SOL 2.2.1, PURE).

I noticed an issue on the other end of the car: the headlight wiper pivots are incorrect, so the animation looks weird.

No problem. I wasn't trying to offend you. I just thought the tone of your question could have been a little more friendly, especially as a newcomer.

And besides that, I'm probably a bit grumpy today myself. I'm a bit tired of all the bad news in the news and have this fading idealistic hope that if people could actually be a little nicer to each other, then the world wouldn't be in such a 🤬 mess.

The only way I founded to "force" the Ai to pit or not is with the fuel consumption : basically, you set a practice on a track with, for exemple, "fuel consumption x5", get out the pit with full tank, and see how many laps you need to empty it. So you will need to lap more than that on a race with the Ai in order to "force" them to pit. And don't forget to let them run a few laps in practice or Quali before the race, so they could optimized their fuel usage.

And yep, I too think it's a shame that we don't have a "one pit stop minimum required" option for the race setup...

I'm sorry For you but I have to say that it is your problem if you feel uncomfortable today, not of us. I simply asked and I don't like that someone will judge my very normal question trying to justify this through a "bad day feeling".

Anybody is building this clio sprint car,.. i know there is a 2006 and a 2013 version,.. but there nice to drive but dont look that good unfortanatly also there is also a 2019 version in ams2 as far i can see..
so can someone make the 2013 version better or do a 2019 version..
