@lorelord looking at the pic of a RHD version of the GTR GT2 I suspect that for a LHD variant the wipers would need to be flipped.

Edit: the lights seem to not work in game (on my PC at least), they do work in the showroom though. Has anybody else experienced this?

Oh.. and there's no internal windscreen so the drops come through the window and the wipers don't do their job.

Hey, looking at the pics it seems the wiper sits low on the opposite side on most models.

Ill have to fix the rain windscreen issue and look into what's causing the lighting issue too. Are you making a wiper config?

It'll have to come after the Renault Sport Spider fixes though as I promised I would. TBH These two had been sitting on my hardrive for a few months so may have forgotten some more fixes.

I know that it's already available a config for this outstanding work by Fat-Alfie, but while driving on it today i tought that something can be done to give even more value to his outstanding work, so i rewrite completely the config and keep only 2-3 things from the original done by lebluem if i'm not wrong right now.

It's still a wip till i'm sure to have covered everything that can be done but here's some preview

Looks great. We must be on the same wavelength because I spent the afternoon tinkering with the grassfx and seasonal stuff for this track to complete my Fat-Alfie track tweaks. Putting the same grassfx and seasonal setup on it that I used on his other ones. Can't wait to add this stuff to what i've done already. Should make for a nice drive.

No idea why you're trying to embarrass me. I zipped and uploaded the one in my collection to try and help people here, I haven't updated from a discord... like I said, it passed me by, even though I made a fly-by comment. Been deeply involved in a few other projects and have a lot of other work-related stuff going on, so must have skimmed that conversation.
Or, more likely, I thought that conversation was here on GTP. Who knows.

I was just wondering why all this unnecessary confusion here, AFTER I had just posted an updated version a few hours earlier, but still unfinished. We could have agreed beforehand, as is customary, couldn't we?

Maybe look less deeply into the glass now and then before you say something? ;)

no matter what i try or do this turns it into winter looking does not matter if I change the date to summer always is snowy looking

mmmm turned on seasonal adjustments and now it's green like summer lol

Hi guys, i'm working on a list of interesting cars that i think are great cars, but are missing in AC (winks at modders and converters), it is not completed but im updating it in my free time, i'm adding cars from other games and also from races/championships i know.

more interested for conversion from AMS2 old tracks style Spa 93, Monza 91, Hockenheim 01 and lot off other old f1 track... :=)

If you have one of the latest CSP patch, there's nothing that you can do. They are broken under seasonal adjustment, someone who has direct contact should report it to Ilja

I've just saved the cams for the track by DaBaeda and noticed that i have that track stored in 1.16.3 ready (without CSP on my HDD) so i decided to update it to the "CSP ready" :D

it's a common problem for all the tracks not for this one only. Anyway i don't have a direct contact with Ilja except a old chat with him about CM of few years ago.

I have a working wiper config but haven‘t finished it yet because of the problems mentioned. I wanted to mirror the wiper in Blender to see if it works better that way, but the model seems to be encrypted. I can finish the config when you have updated the model - if you want.

Nice to see the What i want V12 LMR in, all that's left is the Audi's (2000 and 2001 and a from the other years), 2001 LM+ALMS and 2000 ALMS Cadillac's and a few of the Panozs.
(look in racingsportscar to see which are missing)
 
Can someone test something for me who hasn't modded this track. On Fonteny, are there supposed to be lights in and around the front stretch at night? Things like the pit area, hotel, etc. I have no lights in that area and am trying to figure out if it's the modifications I made that's causing it. Thanks. I'd check myself, but I don't have the original ext_config anymore.

Thanks for the quick check. It's weird, after reading your reply I downloaded the track again and tested it completely stock and I still didn't get those lights. Same thing on Deutschlandring. Not sure why I have no lights in those areas even using the stock tracks. I have lights everywhere else on those tracks. Guess I got some investigating to do.

EDIT: Any chance I could get a copy of your ext_config for Fonteny and Deutschlandring. I see what the problem is. The stock ext_configs that come with the tracks don't have entries for some of the buildings around the pit area for some reason (at least on my computer they don't). I need a working one so I know what to add. Thanks...

No lights at all on the straight with the configs I'm using. These configs seem only to be working with grassFX though, no lighting. I see fonteny.ini (in /loaded) does some light stuff, but is being excluded by ext_config.ini.

Good to hear someone else is seeing what i'm seeing. I went ahead and made some new light series entries for both tracks to get some lights back on the pit areas as well as a few other spots around the track. Going to have to update my RD resources for these two tracks to include the extra lights.

Give me a few minutes and i'll post what I did for the stock tracks. These won't include all of the seasonal stuff and grassfx changes I made for my RD resources. Those will have to wait until I get time to put the packages together.

EDIT: People can try these if they want until I have time to update my RD resources for these two tracks. Lights added around pit areas for both Fonteny and Deutschlandring. Also added hints of light around the houses and farms along the track. Looked too much like no one was home all the time. Make sure to backup any existing ext_configs.

EDIT2: Updated RD resources to include the added lights for anyone who used my seasonal adjustment version of these two tracks.

Let me some few minutes to upload it here.

You have to know the helmet position in replay with last CSP versions makes the driver, sometimes, in some necessity to optimize as hell the aerodynamic... You will able to see it with the picture ! ^^
I think the last thing is an issue which could be corrected easily by some brains here. ;)
