In order to recreate the movie "Ford v Ferrari", adaptations in the existing skins in this Ford Gt40 Mk II ( by ACTK ) for the missing ones.

Maybe improve ACTK's physics (data.acd) and model as well?

Isn't it amazing how over represented, in relation to the size of the country population, successful Belgian driver are present in motorsport? A lot of driving talents in Belgium.

Please release these ones on RD! Looking great, I've been hoping someone would tackle that full set.

It's not 100% perfect, but it's fun.

At night when I get home I upload the "skin pack", the original car, I think most already have it (ACTK France website).

About RD, I never put anything there, because everything is very complicated, I never managed to "upload". I prefer here. At night I use the "skin pack".

But in the first research I did on the internet (Le Mans-History website, it has the Italian flag, then I did another research and it says that it was a Belgian driver, but born in Milan, Italy).

Maybe improve ACTK's physics (data.acd) and model as well?

The "physics" is practically the same as the GT40 model ( by Kunos ), and unfortunately I can't do anything about improving the "model".
I couldn't even use the "model" of another game about the car "by Kunos".

What I intend to do is change the original "steering wheel", for the "steering wheel of the GTR2 model", which has the "Ford logo in the center".

Actually now that you ask I noticed that during replay the ers management shows low and battery deployment even though I have set that to high and motor, would you think that there is actually an issue with the power deployment?

Bianchi was indeed born in 1934 in Milan, from Italian parents.
The family soon moved to Belgium and in 1944 he got the Belgian nationality.

Hi, I wanted to make mirrors work but it doesn't.
I have set the shader to ksperpixelreflection (also tried ksperpixel) and wroten the mirror part in mirror.ini but no luck, they're just blank or something like that

In CM showroom though it seem to work with all cars :

What needs to be changed in order to make the mirror works in assetto? Thanks

Hi guys, I did an update of this very old Opel Commodore mod, the 3d is from race 07 retropack, I also got a lot of race 07 physics data and it performs very well. I also updated the Shadows, Colliders and Shaders'. Do you know who made the first conversion of this mod to ask if I can release it?

Is it possible to put an ai_help.ini file in a track skin folder, (and another ai_help.ini file in another track skin folder and so on) so the user can select ai help specific to a particular situation/car/type/series by clicking on that skin?

(Then furthermore, can we make that skin selection and its ai_help conditional to a certain livery/liveries?)

This would give an in-road to having more realistic ai-opponents... maybe not per-driver, but at least per series/car-type (fast or slow).

I'll be playing with this.

Btw it is mirrors.ini not mirror.ini

If the file is named correctly then is there only one mirror on the car? Or perhaps they are all named the same which would cause a conflict. Could you post screen of each mirror object and mirrors.ini?

Just an observation, I guess for the current Indycar mod, the RSS version is more popular than the VRC one? More skins seems to be up to date and available? I sorta bought the VRC version on a whim looking for Indycar since I bought most of their prototype mods. While I do have most of the RSS modern F1 cars I just didn't buy into their Indycar stuff. Maybe should have done that instead...lol

Files look fine, maybe there is a data.acd you have left in the car folder that needs removing/backing up? Another possibility is CSP version, try disable that and do a quick test.

I don't have a data.acd

And I disabled CSP to check and same. Mirrors not working in game

I don't really get it why since it works inside cm showroom

I too also have almost all the 2021 skins. But yea the 2022 updates for the RSS is pretty nuts. I haven't driven the RSS car so I am not sure what the comparison is like the. VRC's prototypes have always been top notch as well as their old Trans-Am car. The new Formula Alpha is also amazing although I think the 2021 and 2020 Formula Hybrids from RSS are also amazing.

There's pros and cons to each version. I really like the sound and overall feel of the RSS version. The VRC model is probably a bit more accurate and also has a short oval version.

I feel like the VRC is easier to pick up and drive, RSS requires you to put more effort into setup.

Full 2021 skins are available on RD for VRC, btw. You just have to dig for them as they aren't in a full pack.

And I think a big reason the RSS version didn't get as much attention from skinners in 2020 and 2021 is the difficulty of working with the mapping. You can't just use Photoshop to work with the RSS Formula Americas - you have to use a 3D program as well.

On the flip side, it appears impossible to convert the VRC kn5 to FBX, making using a 3D program for the more difficult parts of that model impossible.
