In the past when I've found this issue I've found that scrolling through the cameras gets you to the correct cockpit one and it's that one that you can edit the position backwards/forwards, up/down etc. Just sometimes AC decides that it wants me to race with another camera instead of an in cockpit one, there are usually one or two in cockpit cameras so make sure you have definitely tried editing both/all in cockpit views. I don't know if it's a bug or me clipping a button when pressing ESC button to exit the game for example.
 
Are these models able to be converted from Forza 4 to AC?

Hey all,

I have nothing to contribute other than a big thank you to all the talented, hard working modders in here, people who make skins, cars, edit tracks, create textures, config-files, VAOs and much more. Having started the Assetto Corsa journey just this winter, I am astounded at the time so many people invest from their lives to enrich the ones of others.

As someone who doesn't know how to mod anything, except rain-config, and is a pure user of all of your hard work: thank you!

There has been plenty of first-time AC users (like myself) that have been positively surprised by GTPs' community from the get-go (amongst a few other forums). Happy to hear you're enjoying the AC experience, and who knows, you may too soon begin to share your works/knowledge with the community... cause AC+SOL+CSP+CM are just riddled with features.

I have the latest Canada_2021 track, and the updated files pack, but I'm finding the AI cars are pitting after only a handful of laps for some reason.
I tried placing the fast_lane.ini file in the data folder and renaming it to ideal_line.ini, as this has fixed similar problems on other tracks, but not on this one. Does anyone know of any fixes?

I've read in previous posts that the AI car needs to do a few laps in the first instance, in order to calculate fuel consumption and required fuel for racing.

Is it possible to do a search in content manager excluding cars with a certain tag?
For example: search for all cars except those with the tag "encrypted".

The following filter will ONLY work if your encrypted mods have been specifically tagged with the word "encrypted" - based on your query...

For whatever filter you may be creating, add the following " & ^#encrypted", otherwise as a standalone filter it would just be "^#encrypted".

example: K- & ^#encrypted
filter-result: non-Kunos cars and not-tagged as encrypted

I already have this it's perfect. And for those who need the 2022 skins here they are. I was just wondering if older V8 mods could be done in the future. I know of Assetto Mods which does the mid 90s V8s which is awesome. I just want to see the previous gen of the V8s at a high quality standard. Maybe one day.

Note: this is just a repost of the link of the skins. I had nothing to do with the creation of any of these skins. Just want to make that clear.

! in front of any expression for the opposite ("not")

eg. : rate>4 & !tag:encrypted
gives all cars with a rate bigger then 4 stars (4.5 and 5 star) which do not have a tag containing "encrypted"
 
Are there any skin pack for the 911 GT2RS Clubsport 25?
Sick looking car but got only one skin. I looked but couldn't find any others.
Someone should post a link or get to work.

To disable the animation completely, you can replace the shader via ext_config.ini:
INI: 
[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
MATERIALS = ADVERTISEMENTS?, GANTRYA_AD?, TALLGANTRYADVERT
SHADER = ksPerPixel

...or adjust the animation (random values below):
INI: 
[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
MATERIALS = ADVERTISEMENTS?, GANTRYA_AD?, TALLGANTRYADVERT
PROP_0 = offsetDSpeed, 0, 0.06
PROP_1 = pauseTiming , 1, 1

Hi all, anybody have managed to get this Mazda3? I have already contacted the author few months ago but never got a reply as many others as I learned. He shared some links which expired a long time ago.
