Right on the eve of the show, here is the quirky Autosport NEC arena.
10 grid slots and rudimentary lighting effects that consider performance of PCs.
Released as a showroom that is drivable and raceable as its great for screen shots and this type of racing isn't for everyone.
Every year they have various forms of driving going on, hot laps, parades, stunts and racing.
Surface is slick and shiny but i kept it at 1.00 grip so feel free to experiment with that.
Long geared cars don't go well here, but can be fun wrestling around an F1 car.

Converted from rfactor and jazzed up for AC.
Loads of camtool cameras included if you use that and 4 basic cameras as standard.

Could do with pit line doing and if anyone wanted to go a bit more crazy with the lights.
Talking of which they flash so epilepsy warning is issued.

One more thing it runs in darkness hence the lights, so best set time to after dark, although can be run in daylight but doesn't look so good..
Also the screens can be changed, pics show the 'ken' skin, but couple of others plus anyone can put whatever pics they want via a skin....
Something i would love to see....someone who can drift doing a drift video! Guy who did the video can't drift, he tried, but he did say the Caterham's race really well on it.
One more thing i use CSP and its 1.77 preview 1. I doubt in vanilla AC it'll look any good.

The above example is the Z4 GTE; all cars from the EGT pack have this going on.

Edit: If those were real errors crashing the game, they would be prefixed with "ERROR" in the logs followed by a stack trace. Those are rather warnings/debug information for developers.

Thank you for your help. My understanding is that this fix is related to the URD Venom crashing problem, which is caused by a typo in brakes.ini

Perhaps I'll take a stab at fixing the errors myself and reporting back. But I am so lazy. :(

I think it would be cool if someone can convert some Automobilista track like Hockenheim '77 to AC. Or Monza '74 if it exists.

Has anyone planned to do this.

a little update on the BPR Recreation Project.

The Lotus Esprit Sport 300 is gonna join the grid for the next pack. The screenshot shows the Le Mans 24H 1994 entries. The skins for the BPR entries of Paul Ricard, Paris, Spa and Suzuka are also finished...

there is still work to do with the Lotus, but we are making progress every day.

11 cars are still missing for the Paris 1000 km pack .... so the release is not planned for tomorrow :-)

Hey boys

Does anyone knows if there is a mod to add spectators to Monaco Faux-Vintage (pre-war), from Legion? The track feels very empty without them.

And because it´s the closest design for Grand Prix/F1 races from the 30/40/50´s.
 
Do you know if Bazza still comes around here ?

Somebody here said he was preparing a "Legend prototypes" pack, and I was wondering if the Chaparral 2D from RTM mods would be part of it. Because I'm close to finish my skinpack for it, and if so, I could also send it to him to add it in his future update, if he might be interested.
From what I've seen, there aren't currently any Chaparral cars attached to the upcoming pack.

Arent these outstanding! very color!

It would also be nice to have a concise download or links so we can download the complete series when it is ready.
(I have too many loose cars with mismatched naming that are from a series, miss some obtuse release and then cant find or you need some other mod to add etc etc) Hope you understand :)

Thanks for resurrecting this classic. However, I'm getting errors while trying to load the Mediafire page. Also, it indicates that the track is only 8 mb; is that correct?

Well, I'll release it directly myself then. But before that, I might need a bit of help ('cause i'm not the brightest, apparently...)

I tried different sounds for the 2D, for personal taste, but I think the original one was quite good and I will keep this one, unfortunatly it doesn't seems to like the changes and now I don't have anymore sound :boggled:
I kept the original sound as a backup file, then changed it with CM to test a few, but now after removing the new file and putting back my backup it doesn't work. It's probably normal but I just don't know what I'm suppose to do to put back the original sound without fully re-installing the car haha

Edit : solved. Sc** this, just re-installed the car haha

This is probably going to sound really daft, I have a 1070 sc card and trying to get more fps out of it, if my resolution in Windows is set higher then 1080 will my games be playing at higher resolution as well, I want to just be playing at a decent fps 1080 so do I need to adjust Windows and within the game I'm wondering if by having them set higher I'm obviously getting less fps

You can set game resolution and desktop resolution separately (for any game)

thats what we do with the project. We release the cars and skins on a per race basis. If we update cars and skins in already released packs, they will come with the latest pack and automatically overwrite the old data, so that you have models and skins up to date. This is important as we also constantly work on the physics and data files of the cars to bring them into a better BoP. The releases are not perfect yet, but the project is gonna improve over time :-)

One slight issue I have is that when I run the BAC Mono (Reboot Team v1.0), the AI always return to the pits after lap one and never come back out! The handful of other cars I have tested are fine. Any ideas how I could resolve this?

Despite all the hate and the disgust towards RTM mods (which is completely justified), it would be a shame to miss the pleasure of enjoying their mods, right?

4 real-based skins, as named above, and 6 fictional ones, all with drivers names, teams and flag.
Honestly the car is not that bad. Pretty easy to drive but good feeling, the model is not exactly optimized with enough polygons to populate a small country and no LODs, but it run surprisingly well on my side (and I don't have a war machine), even with a whole field. It is good looking, and the AI seems to react correctly with it. With a few tweaks with ballast and restrictor I managed to balance it easily with the GT40, 330P4, the 908, and others. A good car IMO.

You have answered the question yourself
(I did not test the Mono but throughout testing (with 20+ cars Kunos, mods, betas) myself this issue never happened nor was reported by the other beta testers)

I had this issue with the 1st RSS 1970 release while developing Kazincbarcika and was fixed via the tires file missing LUT entries if I recall.

Whoa thats a lot. You trying to set up a special race event with all of those from the vintage to the modern era? I only had a few with the exception of the ones by Kunos.
Nothing special planned, I just wanted to see how many Touring cars there are out there :dopey:
