The above historical liveries have now been finalised (near-perfect-not) and will be included with a car-mod update-release by @RMi_wood in due course (further mod work is currently in the works).

I'm looking forward to trying this, and it already looks pretty good. I had researched the New York Safety Track, as it's not very well known, and found a lot of good information and reference images (except for the house in the middle). I started a rough layout, and even put together a materials graphic/texture for the uptown/downtown barrier... but I didn't really get much further, and it's been a long time since I looked at it. I was planning on adding a plane along the side of the track, across from the hangar, as it's still an active airport.

There are a bunch of objects that will probably make it into a separate track day layout, like the plane, the ambulance in the pit lane or the food trucks/trailers in the paddock.

Any plans to update/finish/rework the Toyota S-FR Racing? Such a great little car but still a little rough around the edges as a WIP.

I've been enjoying the TMW revisits of the 1982 F1 Season. However I've noticed a minor issue with the steering wheel popping up and hovering above the car when the car moves a certain distance away from the camera. It only seems to happen with the Renault RE30B (still working my way through but the Brabham and Ligier work amazingly and are a blast to drive).

Sorry for the potato quality, it only happens a certain distance from the camera so if you try and pause the replay and zoom in it will disappear.

I've seen other people have issues with floating heads but that seems to be fixable with a download. I'm on CSP 1.79 but have tried rolling back to 1.73 just to make sure it wasn't a CSP-specific issue.

Any ideas on a fix?

I've run a comparison against the Brabham, the wheel vanishes in Low-Res, LOD C and LOD D in both cases. Will keep looking, sure it's something obvious! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction

I believe the issue is with Lod B. The version of Simplygon I was using seemed to cause the issue with Lod B only. I 'll get on a fix shortly as that must be annoying. I'll need a few days though as I'm very busy atm.

So now that RMi_Wood is now working on porting the tracks from a Japan-only arcade racing game that many westerners never heard of as well as making some finishing touches to that other track pack, i checked on Breathe's track list & i found this one.

Word of warning though: This track has a jump that is almost impossible to get past it. You'll most likely spin out & slip off the track.

I have to say that trees are what really distract my eyes nowadays with many tracks.

The color variations are sometimes over the top with some being almost neon green.

I wish I could help somehow to implement TreeFX on more tracks.

I have DeepL and a web browser, and I'm not afraid to use them

The text is from a Toyota advert, from many years ago, in China (hence being in Chinese).
The ad was very successful and widely remembered in China. The "tag-line" stuck, even though Japanese cars were not popular in China, because Toyota impressed the demanding Chinese people with it's reliability and strength.

The phrase quotes meaning and words from a proverb:
"When a car reaches the front of the mountain, there must be a road, and when the boat reaches the bridge, it will naturally go straight",
and an ancient poem:
"There are no roads when mountains and rivers are full of doubts, and there is another village with dark willows and flowers".

Anaysis of the advertisment shows the pillars of it's message.
1. The advertisement does not directly promote the quality of the product, but uses the implication of sales volume to show it; "Where there is a road, there must be a Toyota car" ie they are EVERYWHERE;
2. It shows the quality of the car. Strong and adaptable. "Where there is a road, there must be a Toyota car", implies that no matter what road, Toyota cars are up to the task;
3. It shows strong self-confidence, the double use of "must" , the tone is firm, giving people a feeling of trust.

I got this pack in a public link but I don't want to distribute it not knowing its origin.
The cars are cool but I don't have any info on who modded them.
Can someone tell me where they come from? These are the 3 cars in red in the list (BTCC 1991)

Very interesting, but my favourite is still "Come Alive! You're In The Pepsi Generation" being translated into Mandarin as "Pepsi will bring your ancestors back from the dead".

it's not worth the purchase. Look "around" to find them cause they are only the PM3DM Primera Physics mostly. don't bother with a few as they got cars that are already on like the Volvo S40, Mondeo (MK II) and Vectra. - PM3DM made the S40 and VRC has the mondeo and vectra.

Hard to find a high quality BTCC mod.

I'll see what I can do with these cars, the BoP doesn't look great but it might do for a small championship.
