A buddy of mine likes to make servers with AI traffic to help fill out grids when he doesn't have enough real life participants, and usually the AI cars make it around most circuits successfully, but he's having trouble with the Spa 66 that racingjoe013 updated recently. They get around the circuit, but much too slowly. If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated!

Try the ai from parrilla. Much faster than the ai I made. I never had much luck with it though. The AI always piled up on the left hand turn at the top of the hill. Could be I use too high an aggression setting. You might have better luck with it.

Spa 1966 AI

Speaking of AI, I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas on how to fix a problem with the LeMans67 ai. I have yet to figure out a fix. When two ai cars are near each other going down the front stretch and one of them slows down to pit, the ai car that is not pitting slams on the brakes in response to the other car slowing down. I've never seen this happen at any other track and would love to come up with a fix for it but so far no luck.

as stated already @JK1977 is producing a good looking 1999, i believe scamdream made a 1998 season mod and the 1999 (can be temporary until JK drops his '99, iirc ACFL have done a 1994 but for 1989, 87 and 85 i have no idea

Missing things and Bugs (please help if you can)

The car overwrites your Pedro Version bec same structure

Due to the non splitted meshes there are many things missing, like:

Wipers and Rain effects (only exterior Car paint)

Refraction
Better/other missing CSP effects

Please try my preset with the greenfield showroom (remove the .txt extension) and let me know the outcome. I can´t believe you need to put a file into each car, what kind of additional work is that, please? Normally everything should work out of the box without adding anything.

My preset is a somewhat overexposed I see now , esp on lighter paintjobs it becomes too bright ...
Yours is perfect indeed.

And you are right too about not needing to add extra parameters...
I meant with some cars , you might want to spruce things up by adding some CSP parameters.
But then you are no longer just making a preview of the mod as-is, you are improving/changing the mod. It will also look different in-game then... I did not imply you need to do this on ALL car mods just to get nice previews

Thanks again for the great tip and your preset ! I will be using it from now on, very happy with the result.
I also didn't know you could put the params beyond what the slider could provide just by typing a larger value. That opens up alot of extra possibility ofcourse.

Just been playing around with another Kiwi livery, this one from 2004. This car was a rebuild after a big shunt in the original car that was known as the "Big Cat" thanks to its leopard livery. The rebuilt car was painted in energy drink V green and was affectionately known as the "Kitten"

Hi guys i have an little prob here. Some times ago i bought the

URD Michigan EGT car. Some times later i received a email with the URD Michigan GTD car as a gift for buyers of the first version. So far so good. I didn´t needed the car back than and did not download it.

Now i am putting a new GT3 grid together and need exactly this car. Unfortunately (yes i am that stupid sometimes) i cleaned my email someday and deleted all the old RSS, VRC or URD emails .... so i can`t regain the car....

While i bought new content for over 30€ these days, i am just too miserly now to buy again the car i already bought :/

I have send an email to the URD guys few days ago, but without an answer

Long story short - anyone a idea what to do ?

With VRC I remember that it is possible to download a car again by entering the email with which the purchase was made. If it appears in their database, you can download it. Having changed the site I don't know if it is still possible to do so. Maybe try contacting RSS/VRC on Instagram or URD on Twitter, maybe they'll respond there.

Thank you. I will try that but every ai making tutorial I ever saw said you were supposed to start the pit line way back from the actual pit entry. Were those people all wrong? They also said the pit_line exit had to synch up with the racing line at some point, but i've seen it work even if the pit_line is no where near the racing line.

hello, looking for help/guidance for a weird issue i have not seen before.

i am skinning a honda integra typre r and i have come across a weird issue with just the rear spoiler, it has weird what i would call artifacts all over it, everytime you move the camera they move about like crazy and in game it looks even worse it glitches pretty bad, you can see what i mean in the picture the spanner in the works is there are a fair few other skins for this car already made and none of the skins have this issue the spoiler in all of them are perfect and by what i can see all the skins have been done in paint.net or the equivalent so they are no different to what i am doing.

any help would be greatly appreciated

To me that would suggest there is something wrong with the file after you save it, whether thats save settings or what I dont know

yeh i am thinking the same thing it has to be something to do with how its saved i did try 2 or 3 different ways in the save configuration but to be honest i am unsure of what i am doing so didn't go to mad. none of what i did try had any effect

The 3d model of the car has a bug. I think the poligons of the rear wing is duplicated, (or something wrong with multiple uv channels)

I selected a livery, and realised that the wing is on 2 part of the texture. I painted with a red and blue rectangle, and I saw the same issue as You.


So if you want a simple colored wing you must paint on two place. (Not so ideal solution, but working.) If you want stickers on it, I think it is impossible, bacause the size of the 2 area is different in the texture....
