I remember reading it somewhere here or somewhere else that there's a file to download or change that really improves the driver's head movement in the track cameras during replays. For example, the driver looking towards the apex in a natural way. Can someone point me to where that is here or if it's somewhere else?

I also use a TV (43" LG 4K).
Smart TV? Software up to date? Selecting Game Mode in the TV settings solved a few visual issues for me.
Yeah I will have to see what settings I’ve got for that. It’s a… relatively older, basic/cheap branded Smart TV (Ffalcon, which I understand is TCL - purchased in 2021).

I tried using my PC tonight with the TV completely unplugged from it. Which did fix the scanning issue for Content Manager on the monitor, however it did still shutdown from overheating after a couple hours.

Decided to open it up and give it a thorough clean (last did one 3-4 weeks ago) and reseated the GPU cables, and left the covering off, so far so good tonight. Issue is, PC is only 16 months old, so if I keep having issues now, will have to take it back in.

ACTK told me that if I make 1 little change I can claim it as my own \o/
It's not just 1 little change. You actually have to click "generate lods" and then click "compress data". Two clicks and its yours! Ah! Almost forgot! You will have to change the version too and then explain on the description that you updated the mod by clicking twice! That's the way he does the thing

BTW Does anyone have a link for a full grid of 1994 F1 season?

Opel Calibra DTM - Livery Pack#1 - Release

It's been a mammoth project to this day, with niggly-bits & bobs that required that extra attention to complete. This project has now reached the release phase, so here's the 1st pack of three over the coming days - thanks to all that have supported the workflow progress. It's been fun!

mod-features:
  • ac_crew-dds (pitlane-board)
  • skin-ini (driver suit, gloves & helmet - crew suit & helmet)
  • livery & carbon-parts (fictional GTplanet DTM skins)
  • rim-colour & tires
  • racing-seat 'recaro' brand
  • livery-png file

Hours and days gone into this, massive, really appreciate this and thank you!

Hello. I think many people use the GT-M pack from RSS. I have two questions:

1) As i understand it, these cars are not compatible in one grid with the standard GT3 from Kunos (Porsche 911 GT3 R 2016, Nissan GT-R GT3, etc.), since they are too slow relative to the GT3 from Kunos ?

2) If in the file data (car.ini) i change the name to real ?

[INFO]
SCREEN_NAME=
SHORT_NAME=

Will the car work correctly ? Do i need to change the name in the extension folder in this case ?

Thank you.

1. Each maker's GT3 are slightly different pace but you can use Content Manager custom grid to add restrictor and weight to balance them out.

2. Would be car.ini by default but if the car is encrypted you might not be able to.

That teleporting feature could solve the "crawling car issue". What is exactly that option in CM? Crazy how long I've played this game and didn't know about this.

But if they teleport back at least they become backmarkers and are positioned in the back of the grid, right?
They can teleport on halfway round lap 1 of a race, and exit the pits in front of you as you start lap 2. This has happened many times.

Simple setting seems to have solved the window problem - I had the TV set as the "Primary" display. Swapped it around and everything is fine with that. Swapped it back, and the problems returned.

Let's hope my power/overheating doesn't return then. Set my tower up at a different angle (which means the side-vents are more open).

that´s the reason I was using the TRR mods lately.
Not as good as the RSS cars, but bop´ed.

I got 2 70s Daytona tracks but both of them started the race in the pit and the AI cant start the race, is there any fix or patch I could use?

Thanks

In TRR, some cars have strange physics, for example, the Porsche 992 simply cannot turn at high speed, i rearranged the aerodynamics from the older version (2.3) and it solved the problem, but all this takes a lot of time, i would like to use ready-made solutions.

Hurray, finally this day has come, I came home from work, opened the site and then saw this masterpiece and immediately remembered the days when I drove it in Gran Turismo 2

Thank you so much for this wonderful mod

The things you find... So many unfinished mods and skins I forget about them lol

Totally obsolete with RSS's version though, even if these are separate models (PC2 base, thanks JK!)

RSS version?

Tomsim's been releasing some 2010s LMP cars, I assume reworked versions of whats been out there. Definitely the best looking ones of some of the cars avaialble. Lapping them around Le Mans though, seems like the R15+ struggles quite a bit to get it to turn. So I figure to make use of the new data logging app and see what the differences are...

Normally I trim the car out completely for Le Mans, but since the car doesn't really want to turn, I added all the front splitter...the traces in the first pic are comparing the 2 setup....and....Cursor is at basically the braking point of the first chicane, they have the same load....so the adjustment does nothing...

Comparing it with their other release, the Oreca 01...the Oreca makes about 2700N more downforce.....which probably explain why it seems much easier to drive....not to mention faster...

Looking at data is neat, but reminds me too much of work...
