Without the net and the internal carbon cockpit coming out of the window.

Is it to hard to admit that there are problems at the original model? I have found 2 windshield meshes overlapping ( apart from the obvious and needed ones), 3 meshes for the net, 2 meshes for the internal carbon, 2 meshes for the internal plastics etc

After more investigation there seem to be more overlapping meshes especially at the roll cage (3 actually).

I have fixed them also for myself. Keep editing files in gimp


it's normal for there to be duplicates, there are duplicates for COCKPIT_HR and COCKPIT_LR, and your method with kspixel and blend is not the right way to do it, the problem comes from elsewhere and probably only with AMD cards.
in addition, you have made the outside windows non-transparent
you've repaired the carbon but broken the object's smoothness

I decided to open the A4 in Blender and fix its 3d inconsistencies. Please try this version as I have zero problems with windows and parts sticking out of them

I DO NOT CLAIM THE CAR AS MINE

Aaand here we go, no more pattern windscreen! Thinking about the Audi makes me think about

AMD here, and yes, your WINDOWS_INT.dds seems to work erasing the mosquito net, without overlapping stickers/windshield frame...
... there is a fixed version over here...
With that version there's no net, nor internal carbon protruding, yes... but what says marc magnela is true; looking from the outside and as you move away, somethings inside start to disappear...

(DEEP PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Of course, if instead of ending up with the Audi destroyed in a huge fireball of anger and fights, were possible to complete it satisfactorily by working together, it would be a milestone for Mankind and would restore my hope for a better future. Seriously. 🤔)

I tried to take the entire file into the tracks folder and this is what I got.

You need to understand the folder structure of AC

I am sick and tired of questions about problems installing mods, false positives being detected when downloading mods, etc.

This is because it has nothing to do with the quality of the mod.
It lowers my motivation to work on it.

I have no idea how you manage to run into this issue, but I can assure you, it's not @shi files.

Which of these 3 screens are you saying that are supposed to be dropped into tracks? And @shi yes I have watched that video before thank you.
 
So don't open it up and install the "jerez_1994" file, just try and put the whole folder into tracks?

The 2nd screen. Just put the entire nurburgring_1984 folder into the assettocorsa>content>tracks folder.
 
I use CMRT and I don't have this problem with the audi, but I only use some CMRT gearbox app, damage, tyres
and where do you see this grid in CMRT?
Yeah, it was a proper long shot. I don't have the car in question so couldn't check for myself.

Most of the CMRT applets have this pattern but if you open the Radar, the virtual car is carried on a semi transparent layer that looks like the offender on the Audi windscreen.

I repeat it was a long shot but the grid looked similar and I thought I would 'chuck it in the pot'.

Honestly, you (everyone complaining about f302 Audi) should switch to the Cyril Cheddy Audi.
I know it's not exactly the same, and some parts aren't as well detailed as Raceroom model, but imho there is less issues than F302 mods (I have only change some basic things in ext_config) and I think interior is better ...

And I think his Audi is the best mod from Cyril Cherry.

And they also look off. The only car from him I kept is the 806 because there's no other version of it ! But the rest is just laughably bad.

Flash comparo : JK's 97 Laguna (GRID Legends) vs Cherry's 98-99 ('scratch') vs VRC 98-99 (scratch) - you can see Cyril's car ain't quite right, it has the proportions of the 1997 car but sports the 1998-99 elements. And it suspiciously looks like JK's car with these elements changed...

Could you possibly fix the curb color pattern at turns 1 and 2? Now it's 2 x white and 1 x blue and it should look like the rest of the track (1 x white and 1 x blue)

I have only talking about the Audi, and I prefer a good mod with a bit differences with the reality, instead a good model 3d with a very poor converting job ...
I have tested Audi from F302 and C.Cherry, and the worst is undoubtedly from F302.

So I will let you work on the F302 version because I hope you have many time and energy to spend.
