Not to be an ass, But Tomsim has an F430 GT2 that has been completed based on that exact same model which you can grab here;)
Don't worry, you're not an ass. I started working on this car last year when no finished F430 GT2 was avaible (or at least this configuration). I couldn't finish it, as I said before, but some people was waiting for it. So I decided to upload it anyway, maybe someone wants to finish it (public or personal mod, who cares) :D

Anyway, back to the topic of AC...

So I've grabbed the new CSP preview, and with it comes one of my most requested features: (probably not my suggestion specifically) - the final "New Main Menu" is here, and on first impression, it's really excellent.

Pics (sorry for overexposure, I'm in HDR and the AC F8 Screenshot which adjusts for that doesn't actually capture the UI):

(actual good screenshot after hitting TAB to minimize UI)

Everything works. The UI is scalable and readable, the spacing is redone and legible, the Pit Stop Strategies show up and work just fine, the Timing Tables are there and work well, and clicking on different drivers to watch their onboards also works perfectly now, as does hiding the UI to just watch. None of these functions worked on the last version of the "New UI", which I presumed to be a dead project. Yet, here it is in "final form" - and it's great.

There are really small things to improve, like the spacing on specific setup pages could be a bit better and the silly car render (seen in the second picture) still looks bad, but my initial impression after an hour with it is that Ilja and co. have done an awesome job here.

I recommend updating just for this welcome QoL update.
I don't have "pitstop strategy". What should I do? I don't have it in the old UI either.

Playing around with "TrackDecoration" and "AI Spline Editor" something came out worthy to share.
Just copy the zip content inside trial_mountain_alpha folder.
TrackDecoration v1.6
significant improvements:
-much faster loading for lots of objects
-- EDIT: beware at some point >100 objects it WILL of course affect your FPS --
-option to align angle of objects to surface underneath - instead of objects only being horizontal
-pitch and roll of objects correctly saved/loaded
-for CSP treeFX: import/save "tree.txt" format
full changelog, app also on GitHub

Hallo. I've been having recurring crashes with the csp version 0.2.10-preview1/3436. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Any ideas? tks in advance.

@Fall Guy did you already start to "fill" the Nordschleife using TrackDecoration? :D
the 25 race is coming close

Maybe someone could help with grassfx here?

I came across this video, and some of tips that I didn’t know.
For me as have only an mid range VR computer i9-9900KS/5070ti/32gb at 11:30 was for my an interesting point, as now it seems, I can see on the fly, if an adjustment is worth to use, by switching settings ingame. Why use a high FPS-eating setting if you do not notice it, I always advise.

Most sensible reply, so yes you are correct, and i do post in those forums.
I won't post up anything in this section again, personally I like to see stuff being made that is different from the norm and i assumed others would.
Your posts all seem to be some weird kind of flexing. It must be sad to feel the need to do that rather than just being cool and getting along with others. Hope you get better soon. Or not.

Nice video! Indeed some handy tips. :)

There's one very obvious reason why some private mods might be bragged about in images but not shared publicly... they're actually hot garbage when anyone actually tries to use them. Quite a few 'leaked' private mods (lol at 'leaked' - the modders themselves would have to do the leaking or trust people they shouldn't, unless they've been hacked while downloading porn) are basically undriveable with godawful origami cockpits, terribad texture work and huge mesh gaps you could drive a bus through. So yeah, I generally treat private mods with a great deal of suspicion, and the modders who flex them with mild bemusement. Shake your head and move on to mods worthy of your time.

I wouldn't be surprised if that "alleged" Alfa is just another AI image and not a full car mod that actually drives at all.

Please Lord protect us from the inevitability of AI-generated mods. It's only a matter of time before the internet is flooded by five-wheeled Ferraris with seats on the roof.
Don't worry Mr, Vr Driving whos physics is never wrong (So many of his cars are just outright incorrect and drives like **** compared to the ones i have driven irl) is already being angry on Binary Motors Discord over Pilot3331 editing "their" Forza ports. Of course he's using Ai to generate his physics and as usual Ai don't know jack**** about a car. It can look at data all i wants but it will never be able to replicate how an actual car drives ever in our ever existing universe. It would not surprise me if he is looking into AI 3D generation right now so he can generate some truly awful 3D models to suit his truly awful physics.

Hello VR Driving btw. Happy to see you looking trough this forum so you can find more cars to steal and put behind an paywall on patreon! BTW the BMW E60 M5 physics you made for 101c's Dog**** Forza port is unrealistic as ****ing hell. It does not drive like that IRL at all sincerely an current owner of an BMW E60 M5. :sly:
