Finished texture work on Sergio Loro's upcoming 1960's Westwood today. A truly legendary circuit, the first permanent circuit to be built in Canada now finally revived in 60's form for AC! As a bonus, this track comes with an additional 5 skins based on real events, which each change the start/finish banner accordingly.

hi all, I have a lap counter ("1/4" for example if I do a 4 lap quick race) on top of the screen
which I can't seem to turn it off...
tried F9 , CTRL-H , and all other F-keys... Anyone? (thx!)

I was thinking about purchasing the updated URD's EGT Pack. I've already purchased some cars in the past and I would like to complete the series. Are there any good skins for the Porsche, Corvette, and Ferrari? :D

MrGlide / Martinez_4313 on Overtake has an good chunk of liveries for the URD Porsche, Including anything made by Milhouse1977 should work out of the box with the updated version of all the cars bar the Ferrari & Aston.

@MS6Driver has a couple of liveries made for their Ferrari iirc.

Limited skins for all new modeled GTEs - which is too bad.

I've enjoyed the Ferrari - feels literally identical to the LMU one. Which is a pretty big compliment. Huge, huge upgrade over the Yezhrod, which went right in the bin. Unfortunately, that one had about a billion skins - which the new URD could really use some of. AI seems relatively reasonable as well - which I know there were some issues with in the pack, albeit with cars I haven't driven yet. Can't speak to whether it was fixed.

I'd soured a bit on URD over the last few years but I've had a good amount of fun with what I have. I only own a smattering, as I never bought them all - but from what I can tell it's not a bad buy.

My two cents.

Yes, I know, I said a lot of owners thought it ugly (it is!) and replaced it with a sportier Cooper version, hence my DDS which can be added to any skin if so desired. Entirely optional. :)

@Pete82 Apologies, I just took a closer look at the rear lights and they already do have refractions (as do the front lights). I think the brightness and/or lens colour is maybe blowing out (or killing) any refractive effect, and why I initially thought they weren't refractive. It should simply be a case of adjusting various values in the config to improve the effect?

Diffuse is very high (0.6) on the 'brake' lens materials which is why the rear lights look odd in sunlight too (eg the clear reverse light lens glows bright white in sunlight)
I’ve always used Pure with the default Pure PP. I don’t use the Candy version because in my opinion, its colors are too saturated.
I tried to match the lights to Pure and Pure PP. My skills are quite modest — someone has always helped me.
If you’d like to improve something, I’d really appreciate it.

Keep in mind that it’s difficult to achieve a consistent look for the front, side, and rear turn lights depending on the time of day.
Take a look at the video — the brake and night lights are red; the video slightly distorts the colors.

Front always look more bright when you are on car front, but in 98% cases you always see the bulbs inside the all lamps, fog also.

I had a go - will send the files by PM for you and @Pilot3331 to test.
One problem with the rear lights was the very high diffuse on the lenses, making them get brighter in sunlight. Transparent lenses shouldn't get affected like solid materials, so reducing diffuse really helped a lot. I also adjusted brightness of the lights to enable the refracting lens effects be more visible.

I bought the Ford GT, the Aston Martin, and the BMW, and I have to say I've always really liked them. Perhaps only the Aston Martin has always been a bit too fast, and easier to drive than the others. This new pack has made me want to get back behind the wheel.

Regarding the skins, thanks to everyone who responded. Actually, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask another question. Is there a tool to reduce the size of the skins without manually doing it one by one? Some skins are nice to look at, but while I'm racing, I don't really care if they're in 4K or not. 👀

I do not have a Porsche 992 Cup car and I noticed URD has one. Does anybody have it? Is it good or is there a better one out there?

You should try the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup by Guerilla Mods. It has extended physics with better tyres and so you can attack the curbs much harder without the risk of spinning.

You can also find many real life skins at Overtake.

CM has an built in compression tool you can use, It should let you choose files & folders.

Thank you for the introduction. I didn't expect this 992 GT3 Cup car to be so much more comfortable than the P92 F6, just like you said: I can attack the curbs much harder without the risk of spinning!

I am preparing to give up driving the P92 F6.

The best one out there by far. The Guerilla has too much grip and is too simplistic to drive. The AI is also too slow - a recurring problem with nearly all of their cars that they don't seem to have any interest in fixing.

The URD one is bang on. Great sounds, FFB, physics and visuals. Feels like an evolution of the Kunos cup car, which is a good thing. One of my 3 favorite cars from them.

I don't hate the Guerilla car, it has its charm and it pops up in LFM, but it's not in the same league IMO.
