I get this error EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I launch a session or update a preview. No, I don't have overlays on. Yes my drivers are the latest. No I won't restart the PC AS IT HAS JUST BEEN TURNED ON. Upgrading / downgrading CSP is of no use (besides 0.2.9 and under don't work AT ALL lmao)

Playing LMU or AMS2 for hours on end ? Nothing. AC is the only game where that window pops up. Has been happening for a good six months and it's starting to get on my nerves.

Did you ever try to delete the dwrite.dll before you install a new CSP version?

Also maybe you have some settings which are no more compatible with the new verions.
If you rename the extension folder in your C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg folder then it is probably an old setting.

If it is solved by manually deleting the dwrite.dll then something has still access to it, like CM or so.

I install CSP versions daily to test them and had no issues so far, but i also have a deactivated Microsoft Defender and deactivated Windows's smart security tools...

And i strictly use 7zip app and its own Extract button to extract the dwrite.dll and the extension folder to AC root folder. There is really an issue with those Windows security tools!!! So you must be sure you don't use the Windows Explorer at all and if you drag'n'drop something, windows explorer is always involved!

His E46 M3 has a similar problem with the rear lights and DRLs. I'll try to remember if there were any others, but I can't seem to search for his cars in my collection.

There was a recent update to the E46 M3 and RX8 about a month back. The lights issue still applies to both. Ideally the gauges are brightened up a little as well because they look too dark for me in VR.

On that subject, Jugee8's Integra Type R has a similar problem - rear lights stay on. It received a new update a few weeks ago so I was hopeful but the lights issue still remains.

I simply press No (or leave the message box in the background) and play

I don´t encounter this problem. AC always starts once I click on race. Weird. @StoffelWaffle have you activated the steam start option here?

Yeah Steam start has been activated since day one, five or so years ago.

Anyways, as quark said gotta press no and play, that's the only left to do anyways. But it's grating in the long run when you're updating previews or modding a car and checking if it drives well lol

Can someone help me with shadows or more specific the shader replacement?

I tried to get rid of the "noisy" wall shadows (red marks).

I know that "ksPerPixelAT_NS makes them smooth. But that doesnt seem to work with Shader Replacement via .ini-file. It just won't change from "ksPerPixelAT_NM"

Is it not supported or am I missing something else here?

I tried with

Is anyone else having major issues with the AI for the GTPlanet version of the Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2) from ACC?

The AI doesn't seem to apply full brakes when slowing down, so it usually misses the corner completely and flies off the track, and retires.

I haven't been able to figure out a fix for this behaviour, but I have a feeling it has something to do with CSP or extended physics.

Has anyone else been having this issue? I'd really like to be able to have an OK version of this car on my AC install.

Since upgrading to the latest version of CSP0.2.12P1, the first time you start the game it will definitely happen. This issue is encountered by all players around the world. Either downgrade to 0.2.10 or patiently wait for the fix in the new version.

I'm on 2.12p1 and I've not had this issue before, so I don't think it's endemic to the version of csp, something must be wrong on his end. I do have a pretty beefy pc though, which probably helps.

CM installs seem to cause issues, I've always just manually installed everything and I don't run into issues very often.

All the pit crews are way too forward...

Anyway thanks @CrisT86 & @Gabriele as downgrading to CSP 0.2.11 seems the only way to make the Nuzzi Pit app work properly.

Press NON and wait some more. On my side it only do it once, at start up, then its ok until the next pc reboot

I put a video about this issue in the mod discussions but the author told me he doesn't have this issue. So after some attempts to correct this I abandoned the car, unfortunately.

Great job once again - many thanks!
The only remaining issue is that the rear lights are way too bright. They need to be a lot dimmer otherwise the brake lights can't really be seen when the rear lights are on.
Just like with the Corvette, the rear number plate light is very bright too.
@bestiajo, any chance of additional tweaks to fix these, like you did with the Corvette?

I do hope for $45000,- / mnd, now with the real big improvements like FRS4, DLAA4, XeSS and Dx12-ultimate. And not something like an improved dynamic shadows for the car valve caps that somewhere is conflicting to another setting.
