Honestly I saw this yesterday and thought it was fake news. Mental. Lets go back to Isle of Man while we're about it then. MotoGP really has lost the plot.
If not being a fan of road racing then watch this documentary and after that you will be. I was very impressed after seeing this a couple of years ago.

If people were wondering yes there is an automated decryptor tool for AC. And it cost 50$ per month to use it with a 6h daily cooldown for each 50 batch of decryption.

So now you know.
Oh and by the way the tool blacklisted VRC/RSS (guess bullying works)
Well it sure gives content creator less incentive to make scratch made stuff for AC that's for sure.

Double-edged sword, really. On one hand it's hurtful for creators that make interesting mods but on the other hand it ****s over grifters encrypting stolen assets and that, my friends, is just sweet sweet karma

Nuzzis FIA DRS App does all that except number 4. And Nuzzis app is easier to install, you dont have to install it separently to every car.
Hi. I can understand criticism. Like its difficult to install per car basis. But why does app You mention need such defense. It is not like, script author is forcing someone to use it. In my mind, not a bad thing to have free alternative, and some competition in modding. End user will only benefit from this.

It’s a double-edged sword regardless. It’s 100% not going to be used only to decrypt basic, untouched ports from other games. It’s obvious that it will be used to decrypt anything from the AC community, whether it’s a port or fully scratch-made content.

Just look at Sketchfab, Cults3D, and other 3D modeling sites. They’re filled to the brim with content originally made for AC, whether it’s scratch-made or not.

Even if a mod is a port from another game, it’s incredibly easy to get your hands on those 3D models anyway. There are entire Discord servers set up just to share them, with ACMP and AutoMod Workshop being two of the biggest ones I know of. So I genuinely don’t understand why people constantly complain about encrypted ports when you can port the exact same models yourself with ease and avoid being stuck with those bloated 2-million-triangle versions.

It honestly just sounds like you want to avoid doing the work that’s actually required for some of these models, especially the Gran Turismo ones, where you need real knowledge of 3D software to fix the issues that come with the ripping tools used to extract them.

I’m not a fan of encryption either, especially when it goes as far as encrypting the physics, since most of the time that’s just Kunos physics anyway. But I fully understand encrypting 3D models if someone has spent weeks reworking a Gran Turismo model. Those rips often come with holes, broken geometry, ruined wireframes, broken UV mapping, missing textures, and other issues that sometimes need to be recreated from scratch. Fixing that properly takes time and effort.

I would understand it being used against the more egregious cases like EX-MODS, Sim Dream, and similar groups. But instead, it’s being used against people who make scratch-built content based on GT or Forza models and actually put real work into them. The only people who truly benefit from this are ACTK, EX-MODS, SDD, and straight-up 3D model thieves.

It’s funny seeing people complain about encryption, but then when their own work gets edited, reshared, and all the credit is removed, it suddenly becomes a big issue and they want the thieves’ heads.

This is insane.

Another good looking URD car. 👍
BTW I making my first steps into the modern world. So I did just drive at Le Mans the opposite from that URD car the: "LMP-1 Rebellion R-13" from "AC Forum SK???" . What a bad carmod: missing parts, lots of hexagon angled that supposed to be rounded, a double adjustment panel with included a silly red spot, car fenders looking like there was an accident happen before the start. Who are these funny guys as they even encrypted this car? 🤣

Sorry if it sounded too harsh, that was not my intention. Moor1804 said in his post that ”There's currently no such feature in AC” and I just wanted to say that there is.

And its good thing that script is free and there is alternatives!

VRC made a great R13 called the Revenga. At the time it was one of my favourite cars. It's $3.99 now.

@Tetri: So what is [SETTINGS] dangerzoneapplytohint=0 doing? Shouldn't that default to 1?
Wow you caught me offguard without context 😅. It's a switch. It means you can apply the modifiers either to DANGER hints or HINT zones from the ai_hints.ini. It's just this checkbox in the zone modifiers :

Capture d'écran 2026-02-19 182854.webp

In the SETTINGS, it's either saved as a 0 (applies to danger) or a 1 (applies to hint)

Which makes sense, ie @Thockard barely uses DANGER hints for his F1 fastlanes, whereas i personnally use a **** ton of them for my 60s fastlanes.

I use the automatic transmission, in some models, when I go from 3 to 4, it seems to go crazy, it goes to 5, then goes down to 4, then back to 5, 6, what parameters do I have to touch to fix this?

Anyone knows which Bathurst version this is?
Checked RT Bathurst with Pyyer 2023,2024 and 2025.
But this one has an older skin and grandstands after T1.

GamerMuscle divides opinions but he's my favorite Youtube sim racing podcaster.

He shoots it straight and honest every time. He's not always right but it doesn't matter. But often he is... pointed out the obvious FFB issues on EVO first, etc. Doesn't care where the hype is this week.. Many of these influencers are probably compromised by the gaming companies, but I always had a feeling GM is genuine

I also like his weird sense of humor.

Thanks!

First thing I do is lay down the danger zones. Having already set up the braking and turn-in/corner-radius with AIW I find no use for Brake-hints at all. Getting the corners right with Danger/modifiers (and even the straights can use a danger, depending on how wide it is.) If the settings for close racing and anti-ramming actually do anything (I set them to -.250 and -.1 immediately on startup) seem to be contributing to the almost crash-free races I'm experiencing. (Can you get those two settings saved somewhere to reload automatically? Or default them to pre-settings?) Clean racing at Tandragee!
Question: Is elasticaution related to the rubber-band setting in CSP? Just curious... I don't use the rubber-band thing but elasticaution seems like a really good thing! I set Gas-Brake Lookahead to 15 any time a car rams anything and it seems to work. I don't like that I say "seems" all the time, but it's because I can't believe it actually works!
Just tried a complete track Danger Zone (0-.9999 0.5 0.5)... seems(!) to work great! Freedom to apply the modifiers any time. Further evaluation, seems like some tracks can do this... Not a bad way to start, then maybe cut Danger up after...

I liked the way Tetri (was it?) released a separate layout with his ai line and AIW settings (for Greenwood and Westwood). I think I will do that with the first set of GTC60 AIW'd tracks I release. (24 GTC60 cars, AIW settings, ai_hints.ini, individual car setups if necessary for top-speed gearing, ai line and/or sidelines if necessary) Monza66 Fonteny Oulton-Early60s/2022 Mid-Ohio66 Reservoir Sandevoerde65 done...

Addon Layouts for Bannochbrae (Reboot Team)

Thank you so much!! I loved this track already in Project CARS 2 and after Reboot Team's AC conversion it has been one of the best tracks around. But still I've been thinking, it has had tons of potential for more layouts, with the terrain and all the great assets. Thank you for bringing out all it's potential finally.

Here, the Assetto Corsa “Evo” happens everyday.

The contrast between the good mods and the bad ones is huge…but there are many mods today considered bad that were old conversions (or even experiments), of equally old games, and that are very far from the current standard of top tier mods… and lot of them are part of the history of mod community and this game.

For example, I have old tony barracuda mods that are old, low resolution kn5s, but still fantastic to drive.

And the evolution continues. In particular, I would like to see the update of all top tier mods for the new Cosmic suspension model. Group C, GT3, F1, prototypes, vintage cars.... they deserve it.

And I would pay for all of them, again, with pleasure.

Just buy the VRC car instead. It's like $3-5 and worth every penny.

Plexus22 submitted a new resource:

Heartland Motorsports Park - modified cameras - Heartland Motorsports Park - modified cameras

Read more about this resource...
Thank you btw! I ended up editing it a little bit mainly just deleting camera_0 as it was horribly placed and cut very abruptly which looked awful.

Might be asking to much but wouldn't be any chance you could take a look at the Nascar Circuit A layout also? The Camera's at Turn T7 is pretty much unusable.

Also if anyone happens to know how to add more layouts to an track mind directing me to an location that shows it step by step? There is an decent chunk of layouts missing from this track that Nukedrop never bothered adding, and i'd like to try and make them an reality considering that they already exists. Just needs some cones to be hidden and what i can assume are Ai lines / checkpoints added etc to make them into an full working track.

Head-shake/cockpit vibration is vital to me now and probably ruined sim-racing as I never see it on other sims.
BreakneckFX+SpeedSensation apps ain't perfect but are a good start.
After all I have so much of that mess in my car 24/7, AC was starting to feel dumb without it.

Now the problem is that I can't stand F6 internal cameras without the shaking. :D

Ppl spends money on FFB pedals and this fundamental aspect of immersion is completely overlooked.
Tight cars will just remix your internal organs and blur to hell your vision and that's fine.
