Hi friends,

I made a small update of DumbAI, adding a small race engineer in the main window of the app and refining pit stop strategies.

Here is a summary of the different bot strategies you may expect once you have set a default tyre compound (provided the car has enough different compounds :-) )

Hope you'll enjoy the app :) Now I really really want to play AC more and test it on my custom championships so I'll take a rest for new features for a while, only check for debug etc...

I'm checking two versions I have on my content and you're right, the 3D model is much larger than the actual measurements. I opened the data and entered the actual wheelbase and the general body measurements for the inertia and here's the result. I'll try to make an update and let you know.
If you do I’ll literally pack my own lunch and give you my lunch money for a few days. That’s frankly how much it annoys me.

OK, I managed to fix the dimensions (and some shaders), but... the work is taking longer than expected because this mod has a lot of animations (hoods, doors, windshield wipers, headlights, gear shift), and when you change the 3D dimensions, all these animations break and have to be redone from scratch.
So I don't know if it's better to waste more time and redo all the animations, or delete the animations and release it :(

I don't know how time-consuming some of those tasks might be, but maybe release the no-animation edition as a beta, then work on the more essential wiper/gearshift/headlight animations (or see if other modders will pitch in on the effort)? I'd rather have an accurately proportioned car without door/hood animations than the fully-featured model we have now, at least.

Thank you...Excellent app having loads of fun racing the ai.I have bumped the ai grip up and strength, need to delve further into other parameters.Would love to have a look at your custom championship and give it a whirl .

Yeah honestly it’s probably just best to release it as a beta if it’s driving, and that’ll be good, and I’m sure there’s a few users here who can do ok animations that would be able to fix the headlights and wipers.

Honestly the door and hood animations I could care less about, because that’s just fluff you only see for 1 second before you enter the car in a race weekend.

Please dont encrypt the physics.... I love your E46 M3 GTR ALMS car, But it's terribly balanced against the RSS 996 & 360 which makes it completely pointless to use.

Like seriously, It's completely pointless to even race with or against if the people in the RSS cars are just leaving you in the dust as if your car is powered by an stock S54...
@benbaron ignore what McDoofus is saying, The BMW is balanced with the RSS car's. They become unbalanced if you throw meta rss tunes on them and since more people have bothered figuring that out than on your E46 it's just a bit harder to get it to be balanced due to the tuning chicanery you can do with the tuning menu in AC.

Hoping to see more stuff from the Guerilla boys though, Always made some interesting cars that RSS,VRC and URD ignores.

I can certainly imagine the work involved in creating or modifying mods, and that's why I always say that whatever you modders decide will be fine for me, especially when you share it selflessly; I'm nobody to demand anything, I can only thank you for your effort.

Since you seem to have some elite ball knowledge, could you recommend any other cars to fill out that GTN class, or to go with the RSS GT1s or Tomsim GT2s?

Sorry to offend you my dear, but I thought promoting your own paid mod in here was prohibited
What do you mean my paid mod?
The Ford Capri mod I created in my sig is a free mod

Misunderstood you, and have you clarified with what you mean in your first post I would not have reacted
to me it looked with that comment "yet another that wants everything for free"
You found something perhaps? :)
No not yet, got a bit distracted but could be a CM update thingy? as I am not on a preview CSP i am on 2.11

there wasn't many when it comes to the NGT class some cars need work to compete against the RSS N-GTs (like the Gillet for example), the GT1s which is the 3rd generation, needs alot of cars (Like there is 4 ferrari 550s built for GT1), Legion has done a C6.R and a C5.R to RSS physics (but they're kinda too quick) - there's 32 GT1s for the 3rd generation (no joke) in total. So RSS has only scratched the surface when it comes to the 3rd gen of GT1.

GT1 cars I'd recommend is the: Pagani Zonda GR, Marcos LM600, a Bi-Turbo (there was 2 built - a 993 and 996), the 993 GT2 as well (became a 3rd generation once the prototype GT1s got canned) and Maserati MC12.

edit: side note. RSS has done 1...of the 550s. You got Care Racing (also known as prodrive) - that's the RSS car, Italtecnica (the original 550 GT1), Weith Racing and N.Technology (which only 2 were built as prototypes for the 575 GTC).

oh ok ... i will let him try something if he wants , always looking to improve stuff !

Sadly yes , on guerilla side it is not all about me , i do the 3D modelling , uv maps , shaders , extensions etc .. but the rest doesnot follow quick enough to my taste ... funny situation as the 3D parts is normally very time consumming

So I am searching a commited guy who would like to do mods with me for AC EVO ideally in near futur we hope ,

If you are good at :

Sound - physiks - texturing ( optional lua stuff for displays )

Then please dm me for collaboration

I dont mind paying depending on price. I have all RSS and VRC mods, thanks for them to selling pack from time to time

And those studio dont promote their paying content here either

So it's taken me a week to finally get a working version of just this one kerb. Not perfect by any means, but good enough for me considering I had to make the whole thing from scratch and had no clue what I was doing. My problem is I cannot find a good overhead image or video of this area anywhere on the net. I've watched and re-watched 2025 race videos trying to find a decent look to get a sense of how wide this kerb should be. The best look I got was a low angle look from the 2025 GT World Challenge video and my best guess was it looked to be about as wide as half a GT car.

Can anyone with knowledge tell me if this kerb should be wider or thinner? Or better yet, can anyone find me a decent image of it so I can make a better guess? Thanks for any help...

I do have a mod that slaps RSS tires on the Kunos MC12 and that seems to bring it line pretty decently, plus the Tomsim GT1s which are balanced around the RSS ones, and F302's recent C5.R. Taisen just released a 993 GT2 Evo pretty recently too that seems really nice, haven't really raced it against the RSS cars yet though so idk if it's balanced at all.

since i am back here , the only messages from you are those complains about people , creating content for the ac community free or paid , what ever , but they do stuff for the community while you .. complain , just complain ;)

I am looking for a guy who does sound and physiks ? do you want to learn ? or complain in your corner ?
