Does anyone have a good AI line for Mosport whereas specifically the LMP2 cars will stay off the curbs at Moss corner turn 5 and turn 8 at the top of the Andretti straight, where they just get airborne constantly?

And for the creator of the Marbles mod, @AlexMail, its certainly a very welcome addition to the sim, something I found was that if you pause the game to step away or pause a replay, the marbles will continue to pile up around the player car while the game is paused. Not sure if its a big deal or if its something worth looking into further?

For me it is under Track Adjustments. On newer CSP versions, the option between the old and new rendering method may have been removed altogether. If that is the case, then you will have to adjust the ambient and diffuse values in the camera_facing file to get the crowd lighting the way you want.

In track_adjustments.ini the option NEW_RENDER2=1 is commented-out.
I tried enabling it, but I can't see any differences

  • removed roof and glass (ever since I included a wind simulator to my rig, I prefer cars without windshields! :))
  • more relaxed sound volumes
  • added gear indicator
  • other skins with matching pit crew colors and different drivers

DOWNLOAD (install via DRAG & DROP in CM will install missing drivers if any, and does not overwrite original but is a child/tune)

I think we might have overcomplicated the fix for jagged cables back then.
Much the same improvement can now be achieved at Tsukuba (and on other tracks, with track-appropriate material/mesh referencing) with the simpler config...

This little toy is really fun in any of its versions; to relax for a bit and have a laugh, I like setting it to automatic sequential mode so I don't have to worry about anything other than accelerating and braking...

The only little problem (there’s always a little problem...) is that the Ami AI doesn't get along well with the pit lane—or at least, not on the track I always use to test new mods.
When the AI cars are in the pits, they get stuck and fail to leave; at most, they make a few nervous, comical little hops—like an impatient puppy eager to get out of the house...

And I know your 'Jac0 Blowroof Edition' is a quick just for fun project, but it would be good if the LODs were properly finished (there are a lot of leftover artifacts visible) and the issue with the rear hubcaps fixed, perhaps by removing the single one that's visible, to give it more of a racing look... 😬
 
PMR Models
Is the PMR model of M3 better than Grid Legends you've shown earlier? The Grid Legends conversion mods you've done in the past like Lotus Elise and BMW M1 are some of my favorite from you, I think they look pretty good, especially texture-wise. Anyway, looking forward for many of these teases from you, like TVR, M3 GTR, R92CP etc., so much good stuff, hopefully they get finished one day, and thanks for everything so far

I actually have a SimVendor account - I've purchased the Belo Horizonte/Rush combo and one other car, sometime in the last year or two before they started pulling this crap.

And, now, to my surprise, upon attempting to re-log in, I can't even access my account! They're now requiring me to link my Steam account and God knows what else to continue using it. Probably to sell my data to the Chinese.


I will not be doing that. I am done with them. Insanity.


If anyone can, please share either in the thread, or in DMs is fine. Cheers.

A bunch of us on HSS discord as been fighting with the owner about these issues. He promised us weeks ago that ML would allow modifications but still hasn’t done anything.

I do believe you can download zip files from the website but any paid mods on SV will require the launcher.

It’s BS especially when I purchased the Roosevelt Raceway and Indy legends pack prior to these changes and yet I’m forced to use DRM 😒

There needs to be more of an outcry cause it’s ruining the modding community as a whole.
 
Here's the link to the Indy '50 pack (1958 Indy 500 race), with adapted cars (originals by Legion).

I partially modified the physics (making them slower) and added some other parts to simulate the original "silhouette" of some of the cars from that year.

Later on, I may use the same car base for other versions of the 1950s Indianapolis 500.
Remember that the skins are also just close adaptations of the real ones (as it's difficult to find certain details).
I couldn't get more details in most of the photos, but most of them can be easily identified by the colors and numbering.

Along with the pack link is the 3D driver model I used for the cars, which was (driver_no_hanky).

I hope you have as much fun as I did (in the simulation with AJ Foyt, in my "Champions Career Mode").

I just did the stupid signup with steam, just to get free mods... and then you have to download another launcher app to download the files, and windows defender says it might be a dangerous file. what will the installer app do to my AC folders? why have it at all? stupidest person in Assetto modding is that historic rubbish idiot. i wont bother with his page and will wait until they are shared to other spaces on the internet.
 
Guys, I need some help with both tracks, especially with the AI. I'm leaving both of them here in case anyone wants to give it a shot.

Making clean, fast AI lines really isn't my thing. I can barely drive properly in real life, and it definitely shows! 😂 Luckily for everyone else, you could say.

Jokes aside, here they are. I hope you enjoy them!

As for the kart track, I'm sharing it with permission from a good friend. He actually paid to have it made, but it was delivered unfinished—it didn't even have working timing and scoring.
