Alright, going to get the G36C. So I might as well get aqquainted with the C4. The only beef I have with the C4 is when you throw one C4 then press trigger, instead of exploding it throws another C4. That's gotten me killed a ****load of times.

One time I was throwing down c4 and it exploded without the switch, and a teammate or two might've been killed.

Whoa, calm down dear i was just asking. Getting up at 5 is early in my book. I work too, i just get up at 8 instead.
 
What I hate with the C4 is thinking I've got 4 satchels left when I've got say 2, so theres me throwing them down (click, click, click...) and BOOM!. :scared:

My next unlock is deffinately gonna be either the DAO or the G3. According to a BF2 tracker site it would take me about 11 years to get the highest rank at the present rate :lol: It would be nice if the patch saved me the estimated 70 days or whatever it thinks it will take me to get corporal.

Well maybe, but the queues are at 45 mins there at the moment and it's not very often i ever get onto fileplanet without having to wait for ages.

edit: Shut my mouth, a load of places just came open 👍
 
D/L'd and installed and completed a round of Wake. Awesome map, came 3rd with 64 and joined quite close to the end which is nice :)

Got two promotions and a ribbon during the 20 mins of play 👍 Plus i swear they've increased the power on the medic unlock, i was kicking arse with it. G3 and G36c getting unlocked any second :p
 
38% downloading patch @ 55kb/s. Not as fast as I'd like but I'd imagine most places (EA is deffinately) much slower.

I've heard some people getting like 4 unlocks :scared: Which if true is a bit silly, I'm all for making it abit easier but if everyone has nearly all the guns within 5 minutes that too will be just as stupid as it was too hard to get them all before.

Looking at BF2 tracker I've gone from Lance Corporal all the way to Sergeant. :) Looks like I won't have to pick between the DAO and G3 after all... I'll get both!
 
Ok I see the new patch lowered how much you need to go up for the next rank. In my first game with the new patch, I was promoted twice after a cople kills.

So now I have the G3 and the new medic weapon.

These are the weapons i have now unlocked:

G3
G36C
New Medic weapon would spell it, but i,m going to bed (Most used weapon now!!)

donbenni and T5-R want a game against both of you in the next cople of weeks, if you do download Xfire. Then we can meet up on a server.
 
I'm dling the patch right now. Anyone recommend any ranked servers with LOW pings? Every ranked server I see online has atleast 120 ping and theres barely anyone in there (like 2-6/32-64) and the one ranked server I did find that had a lot of people (54/64) had a ping over nearly 250! So can anyone help?
 
Make sure when looking for a server its mainly USA based, a European server will give you high pings.
 
Just look at the server names. Most should say what nation the host is from or something. Take Multiplay that is Multiplay.co.uk/

Been waiting for this....unfornately, the update on my drivers only helped a bit. Still getting d*mn restarts...hope this patch kills those pesky restarts. 👍

The ****tiest thing is, I'm at my sisters house and my computer is at my house like 10 miles away. God I want this patch. And I hope I don't have any errors. ANYONE can give me a guide to installing it?
 
Mate for installing it all i did was D/L it and run it. That was all, no restart needed. The install took a while, maybe about 5 mins, but once it was finished i just logged in and started playing.

The unlocks took me two attempts. After playing a round for the first time, my score wasn't recognised and i didn't get them. After a second go though i got it and unlocked the G3 and G36 👍 I now have the same unlocks as TVRFan. I swear the medic unlock has been improved.
 
I will get three unlocks according to the new ranking system. It's gonna be the G36C, PKM or M95, and L85A1.

Well what do you mean by improved? Recoil or damage? Or both?
 
Damage seems higher and accuracy when full auto seems improved. Maybe it's just me, but i was getting a kill a minute after installing the patch and that was using the medic kit. A few shots at people and they were dust. Before i was struggling to get decent kill rates as medic. Now it seems different. G3 rocks single shot at range :)

I played 3 ranked games and it hasn't recognized my scores. :grumpy:
