Yay, finally got my Assault Veteran badge. Now I'll be going for my Spec Ops Vet badge (as soon as I reach the Gunnery Sergeant). Then my Support Vet badge :D (Is it just me or is it so easy to get kills with support?)

I'm thinking I need some medals for the next rank after Gunny Sergeant. Which ones are they Viper?

You need all the basic kit badges, as well as the basic combat badge (knife badge). They're all easy to get...it's like 10 kills in a round (for the knife it's only 7).
I need 7 more hours on Spec Ops for Veteran on that :)

I told you already...use flashbangs, then knife them...It's just like CS. 1,400 points until Gunnery Sergeant. :(

Not played BF2 of late, still been playing a lot of: Forza, GT4 and COD2 of late. DQuaN want a game again soon.

I'm on at random times and can't really plan for a game.

Just keep an eye out for me.

I,m not a big fan of the M95, it is ok for mid range and short range i reckon. But your need luck when shooting at long range.

Use the line underneath the crosshairs if you wwant to line up your shots over long range. The M95 has bullet drop.

The M95 has much less bullet drop than the standard sniper, and take my word for it, I am a sniper by specialty in bf2 ;)

I installed my brother's copy of BF2, but it says invalid CD-Key... hmmph. He never plays his copy, wtf? I hate EA!:banghead:

Maybe you just typed or copied it wrong?

The G36E is the best damn gun ever. It's got the stopping power of the PKM but the accuracy of the G36C. In a burst fire mode the 3 round burst fire almost does as much damage as a M95 torso shot. :dopey:

G36C > G36E. Trust me on that. :) Much much less recoil. Which makes headshots a lot easier. The G36E is a bulkier gun, but then again I can't wait to get back to it. Only a few more hours of Spec Ops.

Try entering the key into your registry
It's correct in the registry.... It installed fine, but I just can't play online at all...:grumpy: I really want to play! I'm bored, and I hate CS.

The problem is that your brother has already registered his installation with that key. If you're that desperate to play, BF2 wouldn't be the worst £25 you've ever spent.

No.

What if he uninstalls his copy?

I remember it working before... hmmph...

I also don't have time to play games at school, so I don't want to spend $50 on a game that I'll never play... I'm home on break and incredibly bored, thats why I want it...

My brother and I both play with the same key. Are you playing on the same computer he did?

Is your key encrypted in the registry?

No I'm using my own computer. The correct CD-Key is in the registry. My brother can play online fine.

Its probably EA's fault. The reason I wanted to know about the key is because the 1.12 update encrypts the key during installation. Only one of the windows logins worked for me under bf2 unless it was encrypted again. Maybe you should try contacting ea support online or search for the solution on google.

I'm going to reinstall the game, and see if it works before the 1.12 patch.
