As much as I can. I'm addicted to it. It's a hardcore addiction to, like smoking. But probably 22hrs. That is just for breakfest, lunch, and dinner. Would add up to like 2 hrs worth of eating. I played a ****load in this summer.

I got 27hrs. logged in the attack helicopter.
 
They released a community update. The patch will come in a few days. It looks like they fixed all the things I hated.
 
Waaa! My games were awesome for the past 6 days. None of that restart crap. Now its starting again!

D*mmit!!!!
Need to check the memory in both my video and sound card...or whatever. I know I need to check the memory in of these d*mn chips.

My PC has been slow of late yet again, it must be the ram. Which meant me keeping the settings turned down a bit again grrrr.

In my 2nd rnd after that i still did more owning, but the other side stepped it up. Since they want to kill me back way more.

I'm going to try that then. Maybe I do have enough memory, I'm just pushing my machine to hard.
 
I got 2 different types of DDR2700 Ram, also the heat outside is another factor.
 
Some good news for all us BF2 players, and even greater news for us people who have been with the BF Series since BF1942 in its first year. When it came out folks.

Battlefield 2 patch almost battle-ready

v1.03 update "a few days" away; patch adds first official bonus map, a remake of Wake Island.

In a posting on Electronic Arts' official Battlefield 2 Web site, a community update gives the latest on the third patch for the popular first-person shooter. According to the author, the patch's release is imminent, saying, "Barring any last-minute issues, the 1.03 update is only a few days from release now."

The biggest addition to the game will be a new official map from EA and publisher Digital Illusions. The battleground is described as "a modern-era update of one of the most popular maps from Battlefield 1942--Wake Island." The US Marine Corps has been deployed to the island to fend off The People's Liberation Army and to regain control of American supply lines.

The update also adds some features and tweaks some old ones. Supply drop icons will now appear on the 3D map and main map, a favorites list for servers has been added, and points are now awarded for "destroying the commander's toys." For a full list of changes, check out the Web site.

This is the first major patch since v1.01, which was released in July. A few days later, v1.02 was released to fix a bug in v1.01.
 
Lol yea but its a classic mate, and you cannot beat a classic. There is a little easter egg on the map, i can spot in from some of the screen shots, but if you see any more screen shots.

Of the update map i wonder if you can spot it.

Not happy about this fix:

Commander scoring - No more TKs from Artillery!

I think its a dumb idea removing this, because if you were going in for a flag. And you got your rear out in time the other team may get tked by there commander.

Then while there dead you could sneak back in and get the flag, i also heard the ranking system for moving up from different player ranks. Would be shorter, in other words the 2nd weapon unlock has less points needed in the future.
 
Woohoo. New map!

Man I am LOVING this game! Just finished playing a 2 hour block. My highest score was about 37 which is good for me, lol.

No its the plane in the 2nd screen shot. Woops i told you oh well.
 
Well it was a plane from BF1942, which was flowen around the map. A lot in BF1942.
 
Doh to the 2nd degree. I had never played BF1942.

BTW, in the same pic, does the front look completely different from the rest of the plane? Looks like the comp. didn't load it....It does that on mine sometimes.
 
The reason theres holes in the plain because of rust. Its called the life of planes.

Wake is looking nice :) I'd read the post on planetbattlefield but hadn't seen the screenshots. I always thought the demo version in 1942 was better than the one in the full game (better vehicle placement).

And yeah the old wrecked plane is a nice touch.
 
In the works: Maps and Mods.

A few weeks ago, I said I'd check out the Night Time Mod.
Tonight I will along with new maps.

I will let you know what is good and what sucks....
If you have something you want me to test, let me know.
 
Just delayed me going to bed. I thought you would of tryed that mod out by now mate, glad your getting around to it.

Review of Battlefield 2 Nights.

It is a bit more challenging, and I think the BOTs' weapons and yours' are a bit more powerful. There are only 2 maps: Strike at Karkand (my favorite) and Senqi Peninsula.

Finding the enemy is certainly harder than before as well.
The mod plays in its own folder meaning you can play BF2 Nights or BF2.

BF2 Nights has a 3rd map, but online only, Mashuter City.
The mod is ok and gets a 8.4/10 from me.

It could use a little more maps and maybe a little more light.....like dawn or morning type.
But it isn't that bad.

NOO! THEY ARE QUICK ENOUGH I'VE BEEN NAILED MULTIPLE TIMES BY A STINGER AND IGLA, ETC. AT 500KM/H! :mad:
 
Alright, going to get the G36C. So I might as well get aqquainted with the C4. The only beef I have with the C4 is when you throw one C4 then press trigger, instead of exploding it throws another C4. That's gotten me killed a ****load of times.

What the hell are you doing up at 5 am! Tell me you're not up that early everyday :scared:

Anyway on the topic of the next update, i was very pleased to see the new Wake and yes the crashed plane is a beautiful touch :) Also the getting to the next rank quicker thing is great imo. Really great, couldn't asked for anything better. Loads of people have been complaining that it suckls that they've spent 10+ hours a day since launch trying to get to Sergeant or whatever and now a load of people are going to get there quicker. I say stuff em and quit complaining. The majority of people don't have the time to get there so this works out best for the majority, which is good 👍

They say that they're going to lower the boundaries for each rank, so we get unlocks earlier. If you're close to an unlock you may find after installing the patch that you'll get an unlock (or 2!). I smell a G36c, DAO or G3 upgrade coming up soon :)

Actually can i just say that i spent a while on an Unlock Server and i really can't decide what to unlock next again. Before i got on there i wanted the G3, but after using it for a while i didn't get along with it. I used the PKM and found it not to be to my liking, the Jackhammer is ok, but i'm not Engineer very often, the DAO is ok (sounds AMAZING), the M95 is rubbish and i already have the medic unlock. So basically i'm left with the G36c (which is really nice, but i don't like being the Spec trooper much), the G3 (ok), or the DAO (i play AT a lot). Any ideas?
 
I have work on Monday's at 6am you know. There are people on this forum who work for there money.

I didn't suffer any problems with same old 32 bots on the maps at all.

The great thing is that it's in little folder so it doesn't modify anything in the original files.
