I just got done playing with breakpoint & bunch of guys from my work. It was very fun for us, but not for the newer players still with their chevron stripes on the other team! I'm often on the receiving end of that kind of lopside treatment, so I felt bad for them.

Looks like breakpoint & I'm about the same skill level. That was fun.

I have my good matches and bad ones as you seen. Like one one i got 24-3 or something like that and the next was something dumb like 5-17...lol. You should try to catch G.T. on and pray you are on the same team as him

I've played with James on PSN once, and he's made a surprise appearance on Xbox Live once. Yeah, I guess you could say he's pretty decent.

One of the guys who played with us tonight, his name was Chapel01(we were calling him "chappelle"), he's almost as good as James IMO. When he's not fooling around with Deagle & RPG, he can put up some serious numbers.

The second time we played this evening, you might have noticed, but now his name is "sgt sasquash". I still can't believe he spent 10 bucks(800 M$ points) on that name change. He was originally going for "sgt sasquatch", but it must've been taken.

Ive been doing pretty horribly lately due to my internet connection. Im not sure why but all of the sudden its just extremely slow. My K/D ratio dropped to 1.17. But since Ive been doing so much sniping, my accuracy is going up.

The second time is the only time i did notice him. He must have been messing around early in the night cause he wasn't on my radar, later last night it was like i was being chased by the terminator He has some of the skills but he's no G.T. Some of the kill cams i have watched from him were like, ok...come on....wtf?

Has anyone else seen people with M14's with a firing rate of a P90+Double tap? Or, better yet, P90's with the power, and firing rate of an M14

While I havent seen any thing like this personally, I just got my new gameinformer today and they have a whole article about cheating in CoD4 and apparently its possible to get third party controllers that have a rapid fire button, that can turn the single shot weapons i.e.the g3, m14, pistols, etc. into what is essentially full auto.

For those of you who play on the 360, if you've seen the gamertag Im Too Godly, apparently the guy who originally had that gamertag was featured in Gameinformer for being on the top of the score leaderboards, but at the time that he was featured on there, he had already given that gamertag to someone else in his clan, and that kid had gotten hacked and now theres no telling who had that gamertag-but apparently, whoever had/has that gamertag was boosting in domination matches and thats how he got that high of a score. There are a lot of ways to cheat in CoD4 that I didnt know about. Makes me kinda mad that people exploit errors in the games development like that.

Yeah I think every 10th prestiger is a huge n00b. BTW, what is the highest score on 360? On PS3 it's 6million by erpuzetta and from what I hear she's an absolute monster. A few days ago I played against FIERCE-KILLER (ranked #11) on S&D and he kept saying "Get good, get good!" even though his team lost. He went 16-3 in 4 rounds though, absolutely incredible.

The controller issue i have come across and it is annoying. You can mod your controller for about 4 bucks to make it fully insane auto fire. I was thinking about modding my corded controller like that to use sometimes in private matches with friends just to confuse them

On PC you can bind the fire button to the scroll wheel... meaning super-violent burst fire with the G3 and M14.

Yeah, while I haven't played enough with James, I doubt Sasquash is as good as James. He's really great with M4, and is a very reliable sniper too, but most of the time, he's too busy fooling around, going for headshots, golden guns, etc. Or like most of last night, USP & RPG only.

P.S. Funniest thing. I talk to him this morning, "hey, so 'sgt sasquatch' was taken huh? you went with 'sgt sasquash'?" His response was like, what? He had no idea how he had spelled his new $10 name. That made the name even funnier, at least for me.

Well, I may/may not be playing this anymore, as my disc has somehow broken (literally) a crack from the middle to about 1/2 an inch in. I thought my PS3 got the dreaded BD drive failure, but all my other games work, and CoD4 will only work half the time and only for a little while (at best an hour).

Would you guys suggest contacting Activision to get a replacement? or would it be futile?

Well, I got it from Wal*Mart, and I know I could probably return it even if it is past the 30 day period for electronic accessories, and I probably will if Activision falls through (emailed them earlier and still haven't gotten a reply), but it would be a bit deceptive.

I don't know bro, it's difficult to get a game replaced. You would have to prove that the disc broke because of the PS3 and not because someone sat on it. Your best bet would be to call Activision/IW and tell them what happened. If that doesn't work, try contacting Sony.

I like it, too. .50 cal's fun, but I always consider it a bonus, when I pick up somebody's $700(typo, but I'll leave it ). It has very distinctive sound, too.

I was wondering why everyone uses that gun. I havent used it much, but i hate it so far.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the Drago, could never get it to work for me. The R700 looks wicked in desert camo too.

You should see the Red tigered R700, beautiful weapon. I hate all the semi auto snipers, they encourage un-marksman like shooting. One shot one kill for sniping with me.

Yeah agreed. Nothing better than having someone still in your sights, having one shot and making them fly back.

Had a S&D match on Vacant last night where that happened. Was the only guy left and hid behind a table in the B area. Guy who tries to plant the bomb doesn't see me. Stand-up. Line his head up. Owned.

Red Tiger'd R700 is one of the best looking weapons in the game. Another awesome LOOKING weapon is a black, silenced Mini-Uzi. I have issues with that gun, sometimes I mess up easy kills even on hardcore. I believe it has the fastest fire rate of any gun in the game (950 RPM, M264 and P90 have 925.) I may've misread whatever chart it was on though. Also the pistols, G3, M14, M21, Dragunov and the Barrett are electronically limited to 1200 RPM So in conclusion, the R700 looks awesome.
