The coolest thing with the R7000000 (Well, all sniper rifles actually), is a non-scoped kill. I remember once I was sniping and we got UAV, noticed there was a guy coming up behind me, spun around and got him right in the chest. I could tell he was shattered.

Maybe I should try steady aim with the R700...
 
Im telling you guys. Im getting pretty good at no scoping. Ive been researching it and trying it a lot. I really want to get into some private matches and practice it some more, if anyones interested.
 
I wish they'd release more maps. How hard could it be. Though I've still only ever played shipment once and never 'hothouse' or whatever that training room based on is called.
 
I just bought the map pack last night. Ugh, they are cool but playing on a map that is new to you and not others equals getting killed much more than usual. I took a hit on my k/d ratio, but tonight i will be much more prepared..Broadcast is cool, so is Creek and chinatown (but can be a bit chessy due to spawn campers)
 
I get free map pack with my game of the year edition for the Xbox, but I have the arcade edition X360, and the memory card is not big enough. :p

My buddies yell at me just about every time we are on for being too cheap to buy the Premium. :crazy:
 
My mate and I got a bit drunk last night and had the best COD4 session ever.

We were playing Hardcore TDM, and accidentally killed one of our guys with a stray grenade. He went nuts, it was hilarious. So from then one we just kept hunting him down and he was absolutely cracking it. (I think he was Canadian by his inability to pronounce my name)

"Argghh...That Brraddley. I'm going to get you."
"You little ****, agghhh"
"Come on punk, lets go one-on-one in a cage match, i'll eat your balls"
" I've got you in my sights bradddley, how does it feel nowww, I got you by the balls"

The funniest thing was that he didn't leave the game, and me and my mate went though like 5 different matches just killing him. In the last game everyone on our team just started killing and knifing each other. I bet the other team had never seen anything like it, and we still won by 100 points!

So now my lowest score record is -140. In that game I wiped out our whole team at the start with a rocket. :lol:
 
New guns, or new perks would spice things up for sure. If you can call in a M1A1 after 10 kill streak, that would be a awesome. OK, not that one.

My K/D ration topped out at 1.63 today. I'm pretty sure this is the best ratio I've ever achieved. After few more up&downs, it settled at 1.62. I'm very happy with this, as I believe my true ratio should be somewhere around low 1.4's. :D
 
I wondered if it was when i started getting 20xp per kills in TDM. Makes little difference to me, im still not going to prestige :)
 
It's fun playing with double XP because I'll never get 1600 points in a match normally :lol: The highest I've seen in a game lobby is 1183, and that was not during a super duper double XP weekend.

I got 1400 (not including the match bonus) the other day, I was simply owning on Bloc against a bunch of snipers, 4 Helis, 6 Airstirkes (although I only kiled someone with one once, and that was most of the team), and a bunch of UAV's. (The other team was awful at getting themselves backed into corners and being pinned down) I honestly don't know how I did it, as I'm not that good.

Although for me, turning the sound off and using the G3 with silencer helps.

I was doing really really well last night. I turned off the media server deal, as thats supposed to help with the wireless internet when using older lynksis routers, and im not sure if it did anything, but right after I did that, I went 19-2, 18-3, and 14-0. The 14-0 was on a domination match on bog, we were winning with 54 points when the host ended the game. Im sure that would have been an extremely high scoring game for me. And yeah im gonna miss the double xp. alot.
 
Double XP is the best.

Well, it would be. If my university break was THIS week, rather than next...
