The EU Grief Reporting system doesn't include COD4 in the drop-down menu

Had two on my team just now, hiding in the tanker and external drum thingies at Vacant... Switched to Demolition Class and sent them lots of lovely grenades and rockets.

I've got 3 more players to report when I have the chance and I spotted a few more but they were on other teams so I couldn't see their PSNs

I've given up playing COD4 now until they patch that, earlier today I could get in some rooms where nobody had hacked but now I'm constantly seeing 3+ hackers per room. They either waste time of the team they are on or really get on everyone's nerves. If anyone wants to join me on GTA4 any time then that's fine because that's what I'm playing now.

I had 3 non-hacked games earlier. Then an unexpected hack on my team... I TKed him and he played completely as normal after that.

I also had a weird hacker who was just flying around. He wasn't killing anybody (or being killed) - he'd just fly up to you, look at you for a minute, then fly off again. He finished 0-0-0...

If it had come to this I would play private or team tact, find a full game of players and host a game.

Its easy to lock a lobby (meaning no randomers unless invited) if your the host sign out then in, easy.

Haha, the way you describe it just makes it sound so funny, like when you say then fly off again i can see you making a sort of puzzled look while typing it.

I've seen how the hack operates - you have to pause (well, sorta) the game to disable the hack and be able to kill people, and make yourself vulnerable again...

So he flew right up to me and was completely static for a moment. And I planted a claymore right between him and me.

I saw him kinda think about it for a few seconds and then bugger off instead. He spent the rest of the match just generally flying about - I think he figured that everyone knew what he was up to and wouldn't make his life too easy.

What he said, they have to stop before shooting thats when to get them. Reporting takes too long to be useful. Thus I will continue vigilantee justice.

Given how popular COD4 still is, they must patch this. They'll know what the problem is, and if they don't, they shouldn't be in computer game programming.

No wings, just the ability to float around anywhere you want, even through objects, called no clip.

Yep, it's basically spectator mode with a picture of a hand holding a gun. You can go through buildings and everything, but to shoot you have to press start, then go to option, then back out of the pause menu and it'll be activated.

I just finished 4 perfectly fine games of Domination. No hackers at all! My scores where superb in all of them. The last game was on Overgrown, I went 47-7 with 5 back-to-back helis.

I just had great time playing TDMs. Could they have fixed it already?

I first got on, just to hunt for the hackers. In the beginning, it was just as bad as it was last night. But last couple of hours, I hadn't seen one. I got my k/d upto 1.9, but: 1) it's my noob account 2) it was against mostly noobs 3) I hosted(five bars)

I didn't have five choppers or anything, but I did get a back-to-back. Rare occasion for me.

No, I figured. It would've been a really epic finish, that's all.

That's pretty common. There's also NGB (which is the tag that comes with the savegame you download).

Edit: Playing Bog just now, 1 on the opposition, 2 on my own team Two quit and the other was on my team for the next game... So I TKed him. Repeatedly. Until he quit.

This hacking is getting out of hand. I'd not seen any until i played on Friday night, then since then there's been at least 2 every game i've played, even Hardcore games where i thought players were usually a bit more mature. On some levels they can just be a bit distracting. On others, like Wet Work, it just makes the game impossible. Infinity Ward are going to get a lot of disillusioned customers pissed off if they don't do something about it soon.

I have to admit that the hacks look pretty fun. I can imagine how hard it must suck when you don't have them though. Perhaps Infinity Ward should put a hax mode into MW2 to separate this kind of stuff from intended play. It sure made CSS more fun.

I think that clan tag was the first group of people to be flying. First I saw on youtube to come out and first I heard were flying.

There are even more hacker than yesterday. Some are just flying around and they don't kill anyone but others kill people. I teamkill them until they quit and then I report them. I hope that infinity ward fix that ASAP.

I think everyone is bitching too much about the hackers.. Seriously. I have seen a MAJOR decline in hackers, but maybe that's because I've been playing TDM and Domination and the hackers play SnD, usually HxC SnD. Just stay out of those game modes. I hacked for a little while and it got really boring, really fast and I think more people are getting bored of this idiotic hack. The game is so much better w/o it, IMO.

And I don't really think this can affect MW2's sales.. It's a different game, but I think people are still going to hack it. CoD4 was hacked about 2 times when it first came out. Still, I think MW2 will not be affected, even though it will probably be hacked. It's normal with the CoD series..

Same developer. Post-release support is very important in instilling confidence in the consumer, considering MW is still a massive seller, there will be many, who rightly, see it as the duty of Infinity Ward to maintain a fair gameplay standard in the massive on-line part of the game.

We spend a lot of time ensuring our on-line system is secure and enjoyable, Infinity Ward should be in the same boat.
