Just looking at Dazzle quality (cause Im getting one, I dont exactly have enough for a PVR :indiff:)

You can get really bad or really, really good quality out of a Dazzle. It all depends the render settings you use.

On another note:
 
I managed to get in quite a few games today with no hackers in at all. Although like a lot of you guys for the first 3 or 4 games I still had a few. It really annoys me when I see good level players hacking then scoring bad still. I topped my domination game even though I had 3 Level 55-Prestige 10 hackers on my team.

I guess people have got bored or the developers have got some sort of filtering system going so that you get put in rooms without hackers, I just don't know why it's only the first few games that I see them now.
 
Ha, they better do their jobs for the what is it now, 3rd time they have had to patch the same basic mod. They will patch and then someone will figure out away around the patch, thats how it works.
 
You know what will be an awesome penalty for the hackers? Don't let them know that they've been caught, but make their second perk ineffective. If you like that, IW, I have more great ideas. How about making those cheaters appear, only to other players, with pink panties on? PM me, Infinity Ward. My ideas are much better than any suspension! :sly:

haha, yes! Off topic here, how do you get the quote box in your sig? I tried to do what is in my sig now as a quote but when i tried to save it, it said quotes aren't allowed in your sig :confused:

You used to be able to, but I think it was the previous version of gtp, it took it away. If I take my sig off, I won't be able to do it again.

It's a nice quote, but now the quotation has become more of a sig than the actual quote itself, as you rarely see it. :lol:

I played it for a while last night and was pleased to see that there were so many less Space Harrier's around. Trouble was that those who still insisted on hacking it were generally doing it less obviously, sniping from the tops of buildings or using it to flank around a group of well entrenched players.
 
Does anyone know why IW only released the 1 small horrible map pack for cod4? I hope they support MW:2 better than they have 4 so it doesn't get boring so fast.

Or remove all their weapons, all their perks, remove the knife, and replace all the equipment with a giant melee teddy bear which does 0 damage and pingpong balls which similarly do nothing as a thrown weapon. Maybe a water pistol to finish the job...

:lol: That guy is absolutely terrible! He stands in areas that I never even run into as I know I'll get killed, and I can't work out how he misses so many shots so much of the time!

Oh does anyone drop shot? Is it worth trying to learn...
 
Penalty for hackers is simple. Let them hack and do their fly thing, but bullets don't come out of their guns, a little sign with "bang" on the end of it comes out.

This reminds me. I don't know how common it is, but it's happened to me 2, 3 times.

When you just used up your last bullets on the M16, the glitch locks up all weapons, including the knife. M16 jams up, keep making the clicking sound like you are still pulling the trigger repeatedly. Have you guys had this happen?

It sucks, because when you are running out of ammo on M16, it usually means that you have a good streak going, or you are a bullet or two away from a chopper. :D

Eh. Drop-shooting is only really effective in 1v1 in shipment or things like that. Sometimes when I'm in a public match and a guy just came out the door next to me I "drop-knife" his ankles. :)
 
Map pack on CoD4 aint worth it...
I got mine witH the game of the year edition :o

Chinatown - rubbish, cool but rubbish
Creek - Great for snipers only if your at the house team, as if your start at the barn/ warehouse spawn, you wont get across as snipers pick off easy
Broadcast - Not bad, I enjoy it
Killhouse - useless...
 
Alright... I have come out of my what, 3 year silence on GTP just to say this: F-ing hackers are pissing me off. Doesn't matter what board or game I play, they seem to be there. All the hiding spots that I have spent countless hours searching for and trying are now worthless. All my deserved head shots are now pointless. Just frustrating, thats all.

Its nice to read that you guys are too.

Thanks for the tip about the map pack too, I was considering it.
 
I have a map pack for my Xbox 360, and I dread the new maps. Chinatown, I pretty much just camp in one building. I am getting better, but I couldn't survive too long on that map without a UAV Jammer. Creek, it's hit & miss. Broadcast, I suck on this map with almost a certainty.

I like playing CoD on my PS3, because I wouldn't have to play on the new maps. :D
 
I've had at-least two hackers in every game today and its really getting on my nerves now.

I also joined into a bizarre room where I spawned under Crash, everyone on the [Select Button] Stats had the connecting Icon next to their names but everyone was present on the map, the radar map didn't work, timer was on 0:00 but the game never ended, some info came up on the side of my screen, I couldn't shoot, people kept joining the game as others timed out, I couldn't access the [Start Button] Menu.

Seriously freaked out, I got a few pics of it to upload later.
 
Maybe that happened because the host was hacking.

Anyway, apparently something has fixed now and is temporary whilst the patch gets 'certified' by both microsoft and sony. http://twitter.com/fourzerotwo

I thought they would fix it this week, that means they fixed this hack in less than a week. Its been out since Thursday/Friday. Im happy now, ill jump on later.
 
I do hope my PS3 arrives by the 6th... (zombies FTW)

Anyone play Michael Myers (Hide n Seek) before on call of duty? Wondering if we could get a few people and have a mess about lol
