that was playing headquarters btw, I seem to enjoy that game more and I'm slowly getting the hang of it too,and wether I play good or crap it's still addictive. Couldn't care less for stats

I like it too, up until the point that it becomes a grenade festival.

Playing with G.T is nuts. He places first place in every match I've played with him. He's normally in the 25+ kills and around 5-8 deaths max. It's ridiculous.

Anyway, on Strike yesterday I went 28-3 with the .50 cal. Fuuuun.

F1Driver is awesome too, I really enjoyed the matches I've played with him (pre-patch era) and learned a few things from watching it.

Great score with a sniper rifle on Strike, not a usual place to snipe. 👍


I've played for the 1st time a Hardcore TDM today, and I must say it's totally awesome. Even I, the worst sniper in history, did a 14-2 on Overgrown.
All you see on the TV is the game and who just killed who; no map (except when UAV is up), no score, no weapon stats (you have to remember your ammo and nades left), no KillCam, friendly fire is ON, increased bullet damage (killing & dying is much more like in real life)... It doesn't get any better than that in terms of realism and tactical playing.
And the entire experience of playing this game is dramatically enhanced and even more immersive.
Plus, players on HTDM tend to be more mature and so far, not a single annoying or childish guy in sight.

PS: No Martyrdom on HTDM, please.

I get back to see he has a 23 kill streak on her account now and I'm still only on a 19 kill streak as my best ... wtf!!!

Damn kids of today are just too good I guess, I mean 10 year old I give up 💡

Assuming the quality of players between the 2 consoles is similar (which is probably a fair assumption) beerz equivalent total kills ranking on the 360 would probably be somewhere around 18,000. And GT's on the ps3 would be around 1,400.

So no matter how you look at, GT is without question a force of warfare.

I may have asked before, but what sensitivity settings do you guys use? I have used setting 3 for ages, but 2 weeks ago switched to 4. But I noticed I became worse at some weapons at that sensitivity so I change it back occasionally (like for the M16).

That is freaking ridiculous. My best with the M16 is 35 - 6 - 5. And that was against newbs, with one guy ranked 30 something.

Through this whole new prestige i'm doing i've been using the M40A3. I think I really like being a sniper. I'm actually good at it and actually got quite a few kills in close range. 22 kills last match and an over 10 kill streak.

I was never arguing that Beerz is a better player, or has better stats, I was just pointing out that Beerz is actually a statistically worse player, but is ranked higher because there are so many less PS3 players.

I dont understand you G.T. You are just extremely good at every game you play. On Warhawk you were ridiculous, CoD4, even Super Stardust HD. I am really jealous of you.

You know what I realized when looking at your score? That out of seeing 73 people through the sights of the M16, you only let five of them get away alive. Thats consistency.

Lately, I have been playing terribly. I can barely break even with kills and deaths. I dont know what my problem is, but I hope I sort it all out. Especially since I have my internet in a good condition right now.

Cons are you lose all your guns and challenges and have to start earning them all over again.

The ONLY pro is you get a different rank symbol fixed for the next 55 levels, then another when you do Prestige again and again. That's it.


And guys, seriously, I'm not THAT good with higher ranked players...

We don't get it on the PC, but I believe Prestige is just showing that you are quite a good player by being on an alternate tier to non/lower prestige players.

I am giving prestige good consideration, Level 55 for me. Its rather fun completing levels and unlcoking things even if it is going to hurt my stats (not that I care). Thats what happend when I went unlocking things for both shotguns.

Anybody else dislike the m60 Lmg. RPD +grip has great range decent accuracy, good firerate, good damage and perhaps the best iron sight in the game, making it very usable with the grip. The M60 has better damage and decent accuracy but a lower fire rate. The problem is the gun is so big it obscures half the screen, the iron sights are terrible and offer very little vision, now its not a problem with the red dot scope except you cannot then use the grip, making long range kills a pointless endevour. RPD and grip works for me, anyone else feel this way?

Yeah, I can't use the M60's iron sight either. RPD has always been easily one of mya main weapons on this game.

And quite a discussion with my name, I actually feel honoured to be mentioned on the same post as G.T. He's just so much better than me, there's no comparison. Only reason I'm relatively high on the stats is because the time played and the fact there's only about 1 million (perhaps a bit more) CoD4 players on the PS3 so far.

Man, lately, as they fixed the connectivity with the servers, I can get into games a whole lot faster, but lag is really pissing me off. I'm only getting 1 out of 6 games without visible lag, but I'm also getting 1 or 2 out of those 6 in which my connection status shows a red dot. Wtf? I have a cable 4MB connection, works perfect for everything else, so it IS NOT the connection...

When it looks like you are running low on ammo, find a nice little hiding place with a back to a wall. reload and be prepared to switch straight to a pistol of anyone appears. Works really well. Also I never run out of bullets (excluding really long kill streaks) because I use Bandoiler. Its funny though I can go through half a mag trying to kill one person and off the next guy in three rounds using the RPD. Thats the best advice I can give.
