Picc84: Yep, I have family in BC and I get to go there atleast once a year, I have been 7 times now and it doesn't get old. They live in Nelson which is in the Kootenays, snows a ton there and it was really awesome. I normally live in Ontario which to me is a waste of money to go snowboarding so I don't go to often at home.

WallRunner: NVM I had something to say about your whole Valentines thing but you posted before. No vehicles in CoD4, there are some that you use a turret on but you do not do any flying or driving yourself.


So now that I am back to school, I have some HW to do before having dinner and getting on CoD tonight. I will post later before I can get on.

Wow, just had a 23-3 HTDM on Strike. Was 22-2, but got killed in the last second by some guy when I was reloading my G3. I can't remember the last time I had such a great match (k/d-wise), I used to have so many, but in the last month or so I seem to have lost my skills. Must be an age thing...

Well, last EU-to-USA connectivity issue broght one one intresting question:

Why are so many US players so rant about non-english speaking users?

In EU, there are like 20 languages/nations I've came across by playing COD4 MP. From Brits, Irish, Norwegians, Sweds, Dutch, Germans, Italians (screamers), Spanish (screamers 2: the return of the screamers), Portugese, Hungarians, Slowaks, Slovenians, Serbs, Finns, Irans, various Arabs languages and so on. All are speaking their languages if in party, of course.

None of them was so agreesive towards ecach other. OK, maybe Italians and Spanish people, but that goes more to their Mediteraneian mentality

US people just can't stand when somebody does not speak english. Me and my Croatian party always speak Croatian. And only US people scream at us to shut the *** up ALL THE TIME. After we start to speak english to them and ask them why we should shout up just because they can't understand us, they:

a) brgin to call us names, or
b) exit the room with calling us names

I just do not get it.

It's because America is the bes-test country in the world and the Bible was written in English.

I wish CoD would implement some squad gameplay, where each squad would have their own channel (a la BF2), but i guess the game just isn't big enough to do that.

Well, after playing for 2 hours last night, I got up to Level 7, but the rooms I was in were full of level 50+, so I never stood much of a chance, I also played the first few campaign missions, the boat one was pretty neat IMO, but I haven't played but 3 so far..

Its a shame but there are quite alot of idiots knocking about, hopefully when the patch goes through you should be able to mute the idoits. I get given abuse regularly because I am often a top scorer. It seems some people don't like to loose.

What annoys me though, is ****ers who knife TEAMMATES at the start of hardcorematches, I have even seen somone RPG the whole TEAM right at the start of the match, they obviously find a negative score fun.

I don't understand why people hurl abuse at a host ending the game, its annoying but not normally the hosts fault.

It's often seen as an insult to speak a different language in front of Americans other than English. Why, I don't know. I don't get it, sometimes. It may have to do with our language identity crisis here in the States. English is not our official language and any attempt to do so calls out foreigners crying foul, or whatever foul is in their language.

Maybe, it's the result of so many Spanish employees and workers we have to deal with when shopping. They refuse to learn English which I and others see as insulting. Communicating with them is impossible making things very frustrating.

What's up with people skipping Downpour lately? I love that map, and seriously don't understand why it's getting skipped so often these last days.
From my experience, it always provides great matches.


Guys, anyone unlocked red camos? Which weapons?
I've got one on the M16, the M4, and G3 already has 103 headshots too. AK-74u has 65, the rest have between 20 to 50.
Except sniper rifles, as some of them haven't even been used on this prestige level. They're MIB. 👍
I'm going for the golden weapons.

As such I need to remind you all that this is not acceptable. If the swear filter replaces the letters in a word with *'s then they word is not acceptable (under the AUP).

Can I ask all of you to take more care in this area in your posts from now on, as the next step would be formal warning and then infractions.

I've heard American players do this, and it is embarrassing to me just hearing it. If they're slightly annoyed, they're free to say what they want because it's the internet and not face to face. Most Americans are nice though.

I was really impressed with all of the missions. Though sometimes I could tell where the story was heading because I had been to similar locations online.

They should add some kind of auto kick function for people with -20 or more points... I don't really know if this would help people RPGing a whole team, though. Anyway, good playing!👍, my playing was a lot better before I invited you though, haha. I won 3 FFA's in a row (which is very good for me) including a 25/2 at District with second place only having 8 kills.

My RPD is about 30 headshots away from red camo, but it takes me a long time to rack them up. I've been in love with the P90 since I got it at level 40, I have Marksman III already but I still need a lot of headshots.

Uhm... Aim for heads... I find it better to die without a kill than to hold the trigger in till something blow's up... G3 1 shot 1 kill to the head... thats where its all at.. although I use the MP5 as my main...

With the lag, trying to aim for the head is usually ridiculous, unless the enemy is standing still. I suggest aiming at the upper body by chance the shot will become a headshot.

Of course, on the Single Player headshotting works well.
