Problem is, unlike the other guy told me (yeah man, it's simple - said he), they're testing it, apparently trying to fix it, before start getting things moving to ship me a new one.

That has to suck in a big way, particularly with the new Home Cinema and GT5 out this week.

Scaff - You have no idea, my friend. I spent all that money on the whole new Home Theater system, and now had to get my almost 20 year-old CD player out of the basement to the living room just so I can at least listen to some music through the speakers.
Also, will be picking up my pre-ordered copy of GT5P (with bonus keychain) on the 27th, only to stare at it for weeks, until the PS3 arrives...

Suffered with a bit of lag again, especially sniping on countdown - it was dire since it took like half a second to hit anyone. You should have heard the curses I shouted at my TV screen towards the end of the session when Joe killed me 1-on-1 90% of the time. But even if the connection was better I doubt I would have done a lot better. 👍

I done some sick Scorpion kills though. My across the map headshot kill on Ebiggs with it was hilarious.

Uber annoying though we we had like 5 or 6 of us trying to go into a TDM only to have some pansy on the other team keep disconnecting the game. That happened at least 3 or 4 times in a row.

@Jump_ace, ceiling and F1D - on our last game my battery died half way though. So I couldn't congratulate ceiling & f1 on their victory and apologize to jump for going dead silent. Always fun stuff.

Good playing everybody. I've really been digging this HC setup:

AK-74u (I never noticed it was 74 and not 47 like the assault rifle)
Silencer
Perk 1: Bandolier (might switch to Fragx3 since I rarely run out of ammo on HC)
Perk 2: UAV Jammer
Perk 3: Steady Aim

I can't wait until I get Dead Silence... then it'll be much more ninja.

This setup works well with any other silenced SMG in HC matches. Actually I've never acquired the Silencer for the Mini-Uzi, it's hard to imagine it sounding more tinny than it already is...

Yeah, those were some pretty good games. I had some lovely yellow/red ping, but even with a green ping I would have been murdered by GT and Joe. I probably won't be on until tomorrow night at the earliest; I look forward to the next GTP match.

I'm just gonna put this out there - I suck very badly in Free For All, as demonstrated on Crash.

Well except for the thoroughbreds around here, we all have our off games. Recently I've had an 0/8 & 1 assist performance as well as a 2/10 in various game modes. Sometimes although I think I'm doing things exactly the same as when I have my good games, stuff inexplicably just goes all down the toilet. Actually the same thing on occasion will happen to me in F1 too.


@GT - forgot to ask about an odd situation in our group F4A on Crash. At one point right after you downed me with that scorp I noticed on the scroll you somehow died from a fall... do you remember what the heck happened? Just kinda seems like there might be a humorous story there.

I once died from a fall on a place where I'd jumped from before countless times. Boy, was I pissed...

It was jumping from that balcony at Backlot, near the parking lot and the garages, those stairs that lead nowhere and end up in the balcony. I jumped from there and died...

I think when it might have happened was during one point in the fight when I was on the ground by the stairs that go up to the 3rd story building. I saw someone, turned out to be GT, dart past me and as he was running up the wooden stairs I opened fire with my M16. As soon as I got a couple of bullets into him he figured out my whereabouts and begun gunning at me as he jumped down from the top of the stairs. As mentioned I died rather quickly, man he can aim and fire fast, and I'm guessing he died from the jump simply because I manged to get him red with those prior shots.

There was another time on the same map where GT got me while I was trying to run away from him by jumping off one of the 2nd story spots. Right as I was climbing over the edge he put the final bullet into me. The funny part about is that as I was climbing over the half-wall I noticed someone else directly below. Turned out it was F1D coming up to join in on the fun, alas all he got for the effort was my limp and lifeless body falling down on top of him. His response through the mic, "what was that?"

Haha, I noticed that too. I accidentally stepped off the loft of building 1 at Pipeline yesterday during one of our private games.

Oh yeah. I done that once or twice in that game. I kinda overestimated how far I could fall since it was in Hardcore mode - I never play it so I didn't know.

Once, I was on the second floor of the middle building I decided to fall of anyway to see if you guys saw it.

Many a times I was tempted to pull out a shotgun and blast whoever I was in a knife fight with. And ya everytime we tried to get into a TDM or whatever the host either ended or we got 'connection interrupted'.

Probably the most fulfilling part of our private matches last night was the amount of times I got Ice while in Last Stand mode.

Yeah both of those custom modes were weird, but definitely entertaining in their own strange way. Playing ring-around-the-rosy in the sniper head shot only mode had to look completely ridiculous to anyone watching. You and I probably did that for a solid 40secs at the end there And yeah that one time I knifed ya it was basically out of pure frustration at our ineptitude to kill one another.

Interesting, those happen to be precisely my LEAST fulfilling memories

Ya definately in that headshots-only match a couple times we met in the middle of the street and all hell broke loose, probably fired like 30 shots at you a total of 0 hitting and then get knifed or shot from someone watching our rediculous display of the inability to no-scope headshot someone.

I know, everytime I send out atleast 5 invites to each of the GTPrs on and nobody shows up, when I try to accept yours it is also giving me the "Unable to connect to host".

I'll try to reset my router and stuff see if that will do anything.

Yea right now im having connection troubles. I've just sorta given up. Going on holiday tomorrow though so won't be on COD for a while.
