Beerz is giving me a run, hahaha. Is there a way to invite someone to the other team?

Omnis - Great matches we just had! 👍

I'm getting better at team deathmatches (or maybe it was just luck for once), just got top score overall on a few of them with Omnis a close 2nd.

Great posts on the weapons, guys, I'll comment on them with detail and throw in my view tomorrow when I'm on my pc at work and my boss isn't nearby (my home pc has been broken for weeks and I don't have the money to fix it now).

edit: no, I don't think so. the players get assigned to each team by the system's server, I don't think we have any control over that.

If you are in a party with people or invite them to your game, it usually assigns them to the team you are on.

Don't know if I am going to be on tonight guys, got alot of homework/studying.

You've got your priorities straight, mate. 👍

I'm gonna feed my cat, do a few more matches on this game, smoke the day's last one and turn in.

I'll try to be on tonight if all goes well...., I'll be looking for you guys. :)

I guess I do but if I am on the computer doing homework it will probably take me 2 hours to do 3 questions, all thanks to GTP. So once I am done some chemistry I shall go upstairs for math.

I played online today for the first time. in 4 games I'm at 62 kills and 64 deaths. would better but my first game i had 20 deaths! :) Team play is great and unlike Resistance you don't need to have a guy in your sight to know if he is a hostile.

Hey, good games last night Omnis! Shame I was shattered, I could barely keep my eyes open (its busy being a single parent!). Anyway, If your on again tonight, send me an invite, and I'll follow.

I'm not ignoring you if I don't reply to your first invite, I'm just wary of accepting one that has arrived whilst I've been in game. From my past experiences, you get an 'unable to connect to host' message, or 'server full' message when I accept. I will follow if I receive one whilst I'm in the lobby, but not otherwise! This is something that needs to be addressed when they release the patch (tut-tut-tut patches for console games...)

Yeah, I figured you were in game. That's why I've been sending multiple times-- trying to catch you in a lobby.

Does one invite last until you quit the game then?

Did you see any of the invites I sent your direction last night?

I'll be on tonight, whoever wants me to join, just send invites. :D

Does anyone else gets sometimes thrown into ongoing matches or is it just me?

Nope, but I sent you some.

Weird, never saw them. I must have sent 3 invites. I did notice that your names were grey, although there weren't any error messages saying that you guys were in game play. Not sure how the invite portion works. Might have to wait until the other user is not actively playing.

???

Man, I rented the game for the Xbox yesterday, and I got owned online. I just can't move the controls around like I can on the PC.:guilty:

Pako - I think invites can be sent anytime, the problem is that the other guy only sees them when he's back in the lobby, In that, R:FOM is just great; not only you can add buddies within the game, but it shows you what they're doing in that exact moment
Not to mention it allows for messages between any players, which lets you set up games with whom you want very easily.

McLaren - Does the pc use the mouse to aim? If so, sniping must be a breeze.

@beerzgood,

That explains it. That really sucks doesn't it? Makes hooking up with your bros damn near impossible.

Actually guys, you can recieve invites while ingame, problem is you have to press start so if you only use 1 class the whole time you will not see it until you go to the lobby. I cannot wait for the patch because the invite system could use some work as well as some other things.

Pako, I got your invite but it timed me out. It took me out of a TOTALLY AWESOME sabotage match too. :(

Sabotage on Countdown is probably the best fun in the whole game. Countdown is such an awesome map.

That sucks!

I can definately see a much needed friends invite improvement on the request/delivery system.

Yeah .. I went to go join Omnis' request last night and it kicked me out of the game that was ready to start and sent me back to the multiplayer screen :(

Hmmm... the lobby system is a right ball ache!!! As awesome as this game is, the lobby system needs fixing - it took me almost 20 minutes last night to find a game! I then got into one, then the hosted ended before a shot was fired, then the same thing happened again. Then mysteriously, I got about a dozen invites to join parties, but following the first I received, I was unable to connect. Then, the same happened again, and again... :grumpy:

One invite lasts until you either accept or reject it!

Yeah, I regularly get added to a match that has just started. Last night though, I was added to a match 5 kills before the end! :@ Whats the point of that? I didn't get any time to influence the outcome of the game, and as I was put on the losing side, I chalked up a loss.

Forumula1, sorry I had to exit that game today, my girlfriend had just got to my house. All I know is, I had about three kills, and maybe a death or two, and then you called in an airstrike and killed like five people. I was like Damn!

On another note, I did the best I have ever done the other night. 31 kills and 12 deaths. I only need about 60 kills with no deaths to get my k/d ratio back to 1.0

Damn; 62 kills? In TD? I only usually rack that up in Sabotage.

Oh I didnt mean in one game, Im just saying that my deaths are only about 60 behind my kills. Shouldnt be too hard to close that gap, providing that I stay consistent. (which i dont do often because i dont play enough.)

Accept my invite, Dead. I think the most efficient way to group is just to form a party out of game and then enter one.

Truth!

I'll be on in about 2 minutes.

edit:

Sorry about that guys .. IDK what happened with my connection but it kept saying setting up game for some reason

Awesome games tonight guys. Its 1:25 where I am though, and I need to sleep, because I have school at 8 in the morning. We did well in a few situations. But honestly, that was my very very very first time ever playing sabotage. It was fun. We should use headsets though, Im sure they would be helpful in games like sabotage. Not so much in team deathmatch though.

@Omnis: I noticed during one game you were just sitting in a corner not moving the whole time- what was up with that?
