Ill tell you the one thing i hate about COD4 and its hard to hate this game but its the weapon distances and acuuracy is so inconsistent like im using a sniper rifles but i get killed by a guy using a mini uzi on strike i was up the hill he was in the window of that building! i miss with a precision sniper rifle but he hits me with an uzi! you may call me player but its still ridiculous that he can hit me at that distance! whats the point of using a sniper rifle!

Well technically his bullets would still reach you at most distances available on COD4, we don't have many truly huge maps, maybe countdown and such, if you dont like how he hit you with the Mini Uzi, you should see the Skorpion...

The snipers work on the large maps well and have to be used by a good shooter or M16s and such like will nail you alot on many other maps, the main advantage being you can see clearly what you're aiming at and be able to kill in 1 shot alot of the time.

I really don't use sniper rifles all that much, i stick with my M16 with stopping power. All i hear is, ththththaaaaddddddeed, and up pops my points. G.T. can snipe with it well, i found that out the last game i played with him. He also must have super human eyesight because i never could see him and he was plugging me. I will break out the .50 cal if there is some prick camping with a rifle like on strike in the back laying in the bushes plugging all of my mates and i. I get fed up with it and ping his dome and then go back to my norm.

Desert Eagle sniping in hardcore is absolutely hilarious. You can do it across any map as long as you line it up perfectly. Hardcore because they'll die first shot. The only advantage sniper rifles give you is better vision. Also, you can shoot across large maps with the Skorpion.

I think range is a somewhat nonexistent stat on the battlefield, if the weapon's accuracy is high enough (pistols, Skorpion, RPD&SAW, M16, G3 etc) you'll hit them.

Also, I finally learned how the 'damage' stat works on sniper rifles. ALL of them do 70(%) damage per shot, but it's the damage multipliers that count: (from weapon stats on the interwebz)

And strangely, M40 with ACOG does 5 more damage making even a shot to the leg a one hit kill (with stopping power) Therefore, M40+ACOG does the single most damage per bullet (the shotguns shoot 8 pellets at once though )

R700 is my rifle of choice, mainly for style love it in red tiger and i don't like the semi autos. I might start using it with UAV jammer instead of SP for a more tactical way of play

FITTY FTW!! Nothing beats everyone knowing around the map when you shoot someone in the head. For acog I use the R700 though.

I dislike the 50. because it just feels to easy for my liking, i like reloading after each shot, just makes each kill feel that little bit more special then when you can fire whenever you want.

I was playing really good last night, in TD I went 17-1, 13-0, 16-0 all in a row. When the lobby closed I went into another TD and went...







0-11 I couldn't kill anybody!! I had 3 bars so it wasn't lag. I couldn't hit water if I fell out of a boat

I've been enjoying the Deagle alot lately, its just fun to pound people with lead from it at close range

Yeah I use no attachment for it too. I swear the red dot on it is bigger than normal too, but it might be because I have to concerntrate extra hard to do long range shots with it because of its recoil and range weakness...

Anybody ever gliched outside of Ambush? You can literally walk the whole way around the outside of the map. If you walk far enough out on one side you reach the background of the map, fall off and see the map turn into a blue square gradually getting smaller and smaller.

Yeah, I've seen people defend the bomb (the one in the middle section) from outside the map in S&D, I've never done it in an actual game, but did it in a private match. I was also able (with the help of elmataplata) to get ON TOP OF the big square building in Showdown

Nothing beats going on top of one of the apartment buildings in Bloc. Sooo funny.

Same reason I prestiged two times.

I used to love P90 Silenced. My kill streak for the longest time was 18, and it was achieved with that gun.

P.S. Now, my kill streak is a whopping 19.

I've been playing with the UAV Jammer for the last few days, I have to say I think it's a very underused perk, (or maybe I just don't get killed by people with it).

What is you guys opinion on it?

Depends on play style. It won't help you in close encounters, but coupled with a silenced weapon and Extreme Conditioning (so you can get behind enemy lines faster) you can own pretty hard. It's particularly useful on Ground War because the enemy pretty much always has a UAV up.

I use it on akmost all setups. One of the best perks for fast moving people like me who suddendly feel like sniping with a M16 or DE.

Wow. It seems like every time i do really, really well in a Team Deathmatch game, the server crashes. I know i still get the points, but i don't points i'm already maxed out. I just like to see what k/d ratio i end up with.
