I keep my sensitivity on 7 ( xbox ) What do you guys put for perk 2 if you use the MP5? I have been using double tap because its fire rate is so slow, do you think i would be better off using double tap or stopping power?


EDIT: Off topic here but will ask. Would anyone here be interested in buying a replica ray gun to look like the ray gun from WaW? Im not promoting selling one ( thats against the AUP!) but rather asking because i was thinking of making a few out of fiberglass and brass for the rings and selling on ebay. Didn't want to waste my time making more than one if it wouldn't sell. Im making one just for me but it will prob take around 10-15 hours of work to do it good, and thats a good bit of time for no return or very little return.

MP5 I stick with Stopping Power, reasons if I run out of ammo the pick up gun or pistol is reliable enough to kill.

Dont forget to combo the M9 and MP5, gives you extra bullets

Perks I use all the time...

Core
Perk 2 - Stopping Power
Perk 3 - Steady aim

Hardcore
Perk 2 - UAV Jam/ Overkill SnD
Perk 3 - Deep Impact/ Dead Silence/ Steady Aim

I love the COD series but I dont get how i suck at it. I'm pretty good at Battlefield Bad Company, but theres something about this game that doesnt suit me.. one major complaint is the minimal recoil for all guns. I guess its just more fast paced than BFBC?

Minimal recoil? Grab you a saw or even a P90, i have shot about 90 percent of all the non sniper rifles from that game in real life and they are pretty accurate when it comes to recoil. If anything on the P90 they didn't make it recoil as much as it does in real life. Shoots fast and dances around the target....

I guess the heavy machine guns are an exception i should rephrase it to "Sub machine guns and Assault Rifles" ...i never held fired a rifle before in real life so i can't really compare, but just as comparison to other games i guess. That's just my point of view.

I notice plenty of recoil on most guns. With those guns, and at certain range, we are actually forced to fire in short bursts to fight the recoil.

i notice there was one guy flying through the air tonight all over crossfire. He also killed me twice while hiding inside the trash container. Even though I couldn't see him, he did appeared on the radar and I was able to kill him by shooting at the trash container that he somehow got inside.

Its called no clip and i have been doing it forever, hex editing is super easy on cod4 and WaW. They just did a massive patch on WaW so still working on how to mod zombies again, i haven't looked at any "new ways" but the way i have always done it is to hex edit the gamesave and then rehash and resign it and stick it back on the HD. I don't really do it in public matches, but if i do i don't kill people, i just fly around in and out of buildings

I had a guy both over AND under the map at Showdown and one on the very top of the tallest building in Crossfire, sniping.

They both gave up after I killed them. I don't recall the Crossfire guy's name, but the one at Showdown was called ampD.

I checked youtube, got one saying download a save file, go to teh computer and edit the CM codes, then put the save on your PS3.

I can help out with any of it on breakbox 360, the PS3 i know is WAY easier than on the 360. Thats one thing about the PS3 i really don't like, the ease of modding. Most can be done with just a flash drive.....even aim bot......ugh.

I don't mind performing glitches while playing, because I don't see that as cheating. I'm just exploiting a place which the developers didn't pay enough attention to.

I have been playing it on both PS3 and PC lately, I just got three 10-0 in cage matches and an 80-5 in a sabotage game. I generally prefer matches with smaller numbers as tactics play a much greater role and you have a much greater individual influence on the whole game.

On another note, I would just like to say that COD4 is an acceptionally good game, the single player is great but its the multiplayer which has made the games so great in my eyes.

I just had an awesome glitcher on Wet Work.

We started on the bridge side. I ran up the steps to the bridge, planted a claymore at the top, jumped out the window and there he was standing in front of me... I was a little startled so didn't get to shoot him, but he hadn't seen me and jumped from that floor level onto the top of the bridge...

I was a bit confused, but chucked a grenade up there and killed him. Sure enough, 15 seconds later, there he is again but this time leaning over the edge looking for me. Deagled him in the face. And then, 15 seconds later, there he is again... Deagled him in the joy department. He quit.
