I considered participating when Loore posted it on your official forums, but...
  1. I most likely would never be able to make it (due to work and other time constraints).
  2. That's not how you ''hype'' your game.
  3. You've got plenty of feedback on your forums and on social media already.
  4. Announce the ''super-secret'' game when you feel it's the right time to do so, tell us your vision, goals and deliver accordingly. If possible, show us some early gameplay footage, screenshots or artwork.
  5. And lastly, a quick tip for the future: DLC should be your very last priority and based entirely on community feedback. No more worthless and retail specific pre-order packs or severely overpriced DLCs. It's not only confusing but off-putting as well.

Have you posted that on the community forums/to Loore?

Not yet. But a lot of the above has been mentioned more than a thousand times. I read the (new) forums every now and then and some of it is always a recurring discussion - DLC especially. Seeing the latest thread about feedback regarding DLC, I think it has been heard loud and clear. I might log in and have a say while we're at it.

:) Always good to get feedback.....regardless of how many times things are said.

The more people mention the same things, the more likely things may change.

I kinda would be interested, but I'm not sure about it. Would like to know a little more about things going on there.

Hi all, any chance anyone else is having my prob. I've just got Grid 2 cuz I enjoyed the demo and I play it with my DFGT and while playing my steering seems to decal and center over to the right a bit.:boggled: Its defo the game cuz I've checked it on MNCLA, Dirt 3 and GT5 and its fine with them. I've had the wheel for about a year and play my other driving games with it with no probs, this is the first its done this and its doing my head in :ouch: Sorry I forgot to say its on ps3 👍

Im on PS3 and use G27 with no problems

I think it might be the wheel pal. I've checked it on my other games again and its not as bad but its still centered to the right. Its not 12month old yet and I've emailed Logitech and just hope they'll sort it for me. I'm pissed cuz I'm really enjoying Grid 2 aswell but now I don't wanna play it and I can't play it with a controller cuz it feels wrong lol:indiff:

My G25 had this problem a few years ago (doing 24 hour races straight in GT5 might be the cause lol). And it goes away by itself eventually.
And you don't need wheel to fully enjoy Grid 2 IMO. The physics is pure arcade and you need to be constantly drifting, so a controller is much more intuitive.

Just a heads up, the 2 last DLC packs has been released. There's no official announcement but it's on the PSN store. The Bathurst pack has an additional car (Ford Escort) and they removed the Cuda & Firebird from the Classic Pack.

I use my ds3 100% of the time playing Gid2. Yesterday I tried out my dfgt for the first time on Grid and noticed that it centres to the right as well.

I then tried out GT5 and the wheel centres perfectly. Popped Grid2 in the console and the dfgt centres to the right.
I enjoy playing grid using the Ds3 as it is easier to drift through the corners compared to a wheel. Not going to bother with wheel settings as from my personal experience, you can have more fun with a ds3 than a wheel in this arcade racer.

This should make a few of you happy. From that top-secret test-drive thingy that Codies ran:

Of course they've dropped some devious hints as to the game they are making.

Hey guys, quick question. Is it normal that some vehicle challenges earn you fans but some don't?

Of course. :P
I just don't get why I earned some fans for the Alfa Romeo 8C challenge but none for the V12 Zagato.

Well looks like I will finally get to try this game as its in the PS plus games for December(released tomorrow).

Eks

I might be able to help out here.

Basically, it is normal that vehicle challenges won't earn you any fans upon completing them. This has to do with the sponsor objectives you choose at the start of each season (or the WSR part of it). From what I know, the sponsors are grouped into categories (Lifestyle, Technology, Racing Apparel, etc.). At the beginning of each season, you can pick some companies to sponsor you, and all of them fall under one category (e.g. "Razer" would fall under "Lifestyle"). Each category of sponsor has one objective that you can complete, and if one of sponsors you picked has the objective "Win a Vehicle Challenge", then no matter how many vehicle challenges there are in that season (or part thereof), you will only get fans from the first vehicle challenge you completed that season...but only if one of your sponsors' objectives is "Win a Vehicle Challenge".

It seems the Codemasters official forums are down (all F1, Dirt and Grid sections). What a joke. I've been failing to sign into racenet quite frequently as well. Just can't wait to get to level 99 (at lvl 90 now) and then I'm dropping this game and CM for good.

Shows how much trouble CM have in selling it really. Not sure it's going to benefit anybody to be honest, it's only going to make more people realize how far off the mark CM has gone. And nobody is buying the DLCs so there won't be any financial benefit for CM. The only good thing is keeping online alive for a bit longer. I've been seeing lots of lower level drivers lately. Perfect for farming XP :P
