You mean where you can stick it on thier face burning them. :sly: Just hold X down and it frys their face if I remember correctly instead of bonking them.
 
I'm surprised it got 7.8 at Gametrailers.com, but then they're not IGN, Gamestop or CVG. Still I do like the look of it and even if there is a time element it does'nt look like it'll hamper the games. The only thing I'm not sure I like is the Boss Battles. Why do they need to be in the game? Oh well, no different to Resi 4 I guess.
 
GameSpot gave it 8.7, but if any of you are willing to stay up after midnight, then head over to GameSpot, because there doing a Video Review in about 30 minutes buds.

I haven't played any zombie games for a long time. The last Zombie game I played and actually played for a long time was probably a Resident Evil title. I did play RE4, but at a bud's for about 30 minutes and didn't get to explore everything, and I don't count the Zombe Mod as a zombie game.

Anyways, definately hoping it's there tomorrow morning.

Resident Evil 4 can't even be classed as a zombie game, because I thought there was no zombies in Resident Evil 4.

Anyways, it's only like...7-8 hours before BB opens up.

BTW, some idiot on the GameSpot Boards just claimed to have beaten the game in 3.5 hours. :rolleyes:
 
Played it for about an hour (full version) kinda neat, but I'm not going to buy it, I'll go out and rent it, since it won't last me that long.

It's just too hack and slash with little real effort needed.
 
Jeremy, can you explain the 1 save thing? Is it really 1 safe, or just 1 save per unit?
 
It's one save per memory device.

"Yes you can save as much as you want.. BUT.. it erases your previous save.. so if you mess up.. save.. and then try to replay.. you basically have to restart. Which is why you should get a memory card.. then you can alternate saves on the HD and the card. That will give you 2 spots to save your game.. and then .. if one game is saved in a bad area.. you always have your previous one to fall back on... thus preventing you from having to totally start over."
 
The save system sucks from the looks of it. If you save during a mission, for example, when something had gone wrong, you're stuffed. The only way to re-do it is to start the whole game again. It looks like I'll have to be extra careful where/when I save.

Still it is over shadowed by how fun this game is and how the gameplay with zombies work. But looking at it now, I reckon I can wait for this game, due to the save system.
 
I reckon Capcom may fix the save option, in a future patch?
 
I still havent decided if I want to play the missions the first time around or just go for the 53,594 zombie kill achievement. I am not expecting much from this game but I sure enjoyed the demo and played for another hour last night. I love the hack and slash type games so this is right up my alley and should be quite fun.
I tried making a few drinks in the blender last night but only got the orange juice in there. Needed some other ingredients. I also tried cooking oil and flower in the frying pan but that didnt work either. I dont think you can cook in that pan.

i dont see anything wrong with the save system, but then again i have 2 mem cards ;)

im still going to buy this game today even though it seems to be a very short game, i wish they would have made the game in "real time" .

I agree. When I heard that the story mode part was only about 7 hours long I was quite disappointed. Luckily there are plenty of achievements that will make the game last for easily a few days. 53,000 zombies is going to take a while to kill. :sly: Plus there is the achievement for staying alive for 5 amd 7 days. This game will still take a few days to beat since you will basically have to go thru it a couple times to get all of the achievements. 👍

It doesnt have online multiplayer. But on the 360 he can be playing one game and I can be playing another game and we can chat thru our headsets together at the same time. Thats what I meant by "killing zombies together" We can even be playing different games and still chat together. Another really cool invention of the 360.
