Yeah, seems good for a hotlap, but not for the race. I'm gonna stick to traditional smoothness haha.

Don't know how I didn't notice this before, but why is the ABS icon showing yellow?

@OutlawQuadrnt :lol:

We're gonna be flying into the void as a swarm of pain! Slipstream on weak is cruise control for death.

The drifting technique is also good for racing. Not just for a hotlap.

I've fixed a wooden stick of around 80 cm horizontaly across my G29, just like a dirt bike handlebar , it help a lot to be more precise in your inputs , the bad thing is that you have to drive in auto transmition , it's slower, because the paddle are too far .

I have never liked the kart with a g29 on this game, but it is all I have

I'm not a Go-Kart specialist but i drove some when i was 18 in south of France . If i remember well , the direction were very direct and precise but far away from what i can experience in GTS. They need to put more angle in this direction in my opinion to transform this machine in one of the best fun vehicle in the game.

It's something funny about the kart and I don't get it and I mean the MT issue. I feel like at the end of the long straight line, just before the last curve, the kart engine is choking or something , I sense a loss of power, like the kart run out of fuel . It's just me here ? What am I doing wrong ?
Especially when I enter in the last turn with 6th gear engaged, but I feel the lack of power even in the last part of the straight line.
So I started to use AT ...

are you intentionally lying? or is there a misunderstanding somewhere? myself and 3 others in the G29 thread have tested this and found that changing your DS4 controller sensitivity does nothing for the G29 steering wheel.

Are you sure it isn't placebo?

They are talking about controller sensitivity.. for the controller.

When they did the kart at brands indy I managed a top 25 time with the G29.
It can be done, just requires very delicate steering input
Exactly. I don't have a G29 but I also managed a pretty decent time at that event and that was without CSA back when almost everyone was using it in the karts.

You just have to readjust a little but once you get used to it the kart's the best car in the game :P :P :P

So the live reports are up...

We appear to have waited all this time for a bog standard replay with no commentary of one race and a few words on that one race. Astonishing. Looks like they hired commentary for a 3 minute "top 5 moments" video for Twitter.

Actually feel really sorry for Tom, Jimmy and Chris taking evenings out of their lives to do commentary and then PD just not use them anyway. Can't imagine they'll be pleased, I wouldn't be if hours of my work was just rewarded with a badly edited 2-3 minute throwaway clip on Facebook.

Another day, another group of people PD alienate. At least there's some pretty pictures of my Ferrari

The GT World Tour event was so good and the full races were uploaded to Youtube,i don't know why they didn't do the same for these recent races.

I just realized, most of the grid had penalties,i wonder if PD didn't want to show their penalty system, that's the only explanation i have for these random highlights

If anyone is interested in the last rounds my VoDs are up! Some quality racing in the manufacturers one especially, really do love that track!

And for those wondering what might potentially happen at Dragontrail in the manufacturers, here's a preview xD.. just got to add 1 lap (Really hurts me!)

Hopefully they were paid well enough to not be too bothered by it

Maybe but they've gone and made the 'Championship' track limits even more strict for this Season so even more penalties

Lot of us guys have been coming up with all sorts of theories trying to work out what they're up to with this seemingly slapdash approach. Root of the problem might be they don't have dedicated staff for the FIA side of things in the 3 regions. Might explain why the multiple accounts are still unpunished as well. You can't run an effective championship without people involved full time in running it. Those Live Reports seem like they are written by an intern armed with Google Translate whilst everyone's buggered off for a lunch break

What I'd suggest they'd do is for covering the 'normal' rounds they could do a roundup the following day or so. They capture every top split race anyway, so they could look at the key moments in each round and establish a narrative for the championship to get people invested and interested throughout. As things stand these normal rounds get completely forgotten about yet they are so important as to who qualifies for the T24 races and therefore spots to the final.

For the T24 races they should start the livestream half an hour before Nations starts, then once Nations and Manufacturers is finished they can spend time afterwards analysing both races and contacting some of the players for their perspective. Watch any sporting broadcast and it follows the same principle. Build Up > Event > Analysis/Interviews. They do it because otherwise it is just a bunch of faceless randoms which you can't really get behind.

Same approach as before for this Season and barely anyone will actually know the guys racing in the Finals. They've got a good concept in getting behind your fellow countrymen (or women, you never know ;)) or rooting for your favourite manufacturer. They need to actually exploit that more.

I think they should do a recap for each season close to the live events maybe a recap in the week of the live events,GT World Tour was great because you had actual people judging the crashes and cornercutting, which let the racing breathe without the fear of the infamous SR DOWN 10 SECOND PENALTY pop up.

I can't wait to watch the finals at the end of the year but these random highlights do nothing for me.

Let's see what they learned from the Nurburgring event,it was a bit messy but for a first live event it was awesome and the feeling was mutual for the people passing by the event Jimmy"Jimmer"Broadbent said that as the event went along more people showed up to watch it,and by the end of it there was a big public.

Two videos showing each driver should be on their checklist.Showcasing the team for each country in the Nations Cup and each Driver for the Manufacturers CUp

Why would I intentionally lie?

Could very well be placebo, but I feel personally that it makes a small difference in small corrections and snap oversteer catches on karts.

I’ll have a look at how four people have tested it in that thread and have a good focus on it later, but that’s how I’ve always felt and in GT6 also.
