I did the Mercedes race.........it was going...........decent...........I was 11th with 2 laps to go........and then THE TYRES STOPPED WORKING  It was going so well :banghead: Finished 16th and lost my A+ status because of that  At least I got 1129 points from Willow Springs :grumpy: Saw @Lost Sheltie, surviving despite the Scirocco ;)

Well, tonight I demostrated that I am a big boy :dopey:.................but it was NOT worth it :guilty:

Ok, I decided that I will do the Willow Springs race 1st, in slot 3, than...........I don't know  Just saw the race that BFR_Devil streamed.......He spunned 3 times and a half :nervous: and he's good  It's really a hard decision :odd:

And I spotted a 3rd place by @Lord Protector  Great race, dude :D
Could have easily been a 2nd place but I've made a silly mistake in the 14/15 lap and lost too much time. There was a guy before me that didn't pit and was just waiting to be overtaken :D good pace from him anyway, I wouldn't be able to hold the car on tracm on one set of tyres.

Waste of time on both counts tonight. 14th in the F1 and... I don't even remember, think it ended up being 16th in the GT-R at Willow. I two-stopped and when I gave up caring about everyone else and just drove I got a pretty consistent 1:20.0-.5 pace going. I'm just screwed because I'm in B/S rank lobbies for the first time and nowhere near good or consistent enough to get close.

I got pushed to the pits in the manufacturers by one italian guy, almost twice. Why are they merged with us, clean drivers? :D

Tried the F1 race, really should have practiced beforehand. How the **** do you control that thing, everytime I try to turn in the thing just spins. Even put TC on 5 and still the same. I tried it not so long ago and it wasn't that bad, whatever they patching it made it worse on controller.

That Nations Cup with the Mercedes F1 was intense.
I was in the A+ / S Lobby in my slot, with 2600 points for the winner.
My curse in Qualifying continued and my 1.32,241 was about 1 sec off the pace i could do in practice and 0,5 away from what my goal was.
Still enough for P 5 but the first row was only half second away.
So i started in the middle of the pack and bad luck continued. I got pushed out of the hairpin and came back on track in P 13. :ouch:
With still 14 1/2 laps to go i didn't want to give up and started to push. Some of those in front of me had problems with keeping the car on track so i could win one place after another.
After the pitstop on P 7 i saw the top guys went on a No-Stop-Strategie. Knowing the car would be undriveable for them i pushed even harder and got a 1.31,4 and 1.31,3 lap, which was the overall fastest in the end.
On the last lap i catched up to the Non-Stoppers in front of me. During the last chicane i overtook RC_Snake91 and had a stunning head-to-head-sprint to the finishing line against @mclarenLB, which i lost by 45/1000 of a second
Not my luckiest race but i had a lot of fun and hope the Mercedes will be featured in more online races in the future. :)👍

Video of the race will come tomorrow.

@Kano Manel here's the video of my Manu Race :)

I was so far behind after taking trips to the Sahara that I stopped caring halfway through
My mind was thinking anime (Overlord in particular) as I was auto-driving my way until I sort of slid on one of the corners :D

I havent done the Mercedes race yet. going to try it at 1900 . But got 3rd in my manufactures cup race. Started 9th. Went one lap longer than the leaders before pitting. Pushed hard came out of the pits in 4th. Then slowly reeled in the p3 driver in a Ferrari, made the pass on the last corner coming out of the fast sweeper.( sometime later) Well i just finished the nations race.. q5, ended up in p4 at the end, had p3 spun out on the hairpin. It was a good day for me. i went the no-pit strat on the race... couldn't burn it too hard on the last 2 laps cause of the tires. but it wasnt that much slower if i wanted to stay on the track anyway.

Possible Exploit:

I got wrecked in the NC race today and backed out since I had to help my siblings with their homework. I noticed something weird... it didn’t immediately lock me out. I was able to get back in the time selection screen. I didn’t test it because you’re only allowed one race and I’m following the rules but what if someone stayed in the next time slot screen, waited for the time to expire and attempt to enter? I hope it automatically denies them but I’m not sure.

So coincidentally qualified 15th and finished 13th in both races. They were just different ends of the spectrum.

Manufacturers was seeded 2nd on my favourite track, so it was a massive disappointment. Yes I did go off track once but so did most of the field. The car was just completely uncompetitive and there was zero chance of winning whatsoever in the WRX on that track. I might’ve gotten a top 10 if I didn’t go off that one time but finishing better than I qualified was all I could hope for I guess. It just hurts when I don’t run well at Willow. Once again, depressingly 600 something points was better than 2 or 3 of my other scores this season.

Nations was the opposite since I was seeded 19th in a top heavy 2300 point room, so 13th was a victory. I went off track twice, once I hit the end of the pit wall so got engine damage. I also pitted to be safe, it seems like the field was split half and half for strategies. Still a lot better than I thought. And I didn’t get lapped!

I had the same thing once when I got kicked out during pre-qualy practice, and tried what you mentionned. It will tell you the registration failed. The status updates only after the race is finished and results confirmed. That's also when your stats will update on Kudosprime.

Had a go at the merc F1 race and honestly was not bad, but if anyone can explain the best way to get through the hairpin and the final chicane please say
I had the pace for top 3 for sure. Was matching P2 till the final corner each lap

Qualified P8
2 mistakes in the race one that put me well down the field ina bout 14th and another that didn’t lose me too much tbh.
Ended up P4, but was losing at least a second in the final chicane just don’t know how to get around and exit it.
Pace was 33’s my fastest was a high 32 I think, a 31 was possible just that chicane is a nightmare haha

Manufacturer - Big Willow - Viper Gr. 4

Due to work, I had little time to practice. 10th > 15th (331pts, not counting). I did have a good time, though!
At one point, I was going 3-wide with 2 other players and 5 of us were battling for 10th.
I unfortunately understeered at the last turn in lap 15, but I was able to glide the car to softly hit the barrier on its side and was able to make my way back onto the track without problem (at the cost of a few positions). Could've been worse.

Before this race, I was in the 130th range (region), so I'm not sure how much I'll change after tonight's races are concluded. Though I do feel a little sad that I feel like I care about having S/S much less than I did last season, mainly because I've started working recently and am trying to buy a $450 D. Va statue pay off my student loans. I'm kinda in this more to just have a good time and test my skills. I'll just try to do whatever races I can do until the end.
To those who read my little ramble, I love you and thanks for reading. <3

I was behind you in Manu when you went off and yelled noooooooo. I started 16th and finished 8th by just staying on course as people went off. I hate the track so I just phoned it in for a cool 1k pts.

I’ve started using TC1 to alleviate front tire wear, that was one of those times I forgot to adjust my track placement

Only did Manufacturers today since I was unable to consistently lap with the W08.

Qualified P2, stayed behind P1 for the first two laps, but ruined it on the last corner. This means another comeback race for me. From way back, I catched up on the others. Pitted accidentally on the 8th lap after another screw up on the same corner, but it ended up being a good call since I had a very good pace on the out lap. Finally finished in P5 with P4 just in front.

Did my first online race today (manufacturer's), went pretty much as poorly as I thought it would.

My mom phoned me during qualifying, so I paused it for auto-drive only to see I'd get DQed if I left that on too long, so I drove off the track, which again warned me of DQ, so I had to talk and drive, which didn't go well. Qualified 15th of 19, so behind the 8-ball right off the bat. My best lap during the actual race was over 3 seconds quicker than my qualifying lap.

Got bumped off the track on the 2nd corner of the race and went flying, 45 seconds behind 18th place by the time I got back onto the track.

Ended up finishing 10th with no penalties and I felt I drove okay for most of the race, but I definitely wasn't matching lap times of the top 3. Maybe top 5 with a good qualifying lap and without the off-track excursion.

Didnt plan on doing any FIA events tonight. But with the kiddo in bed and the wife watching her tv show I decided to buy the F1 car and have about 20min of practice before entry. My best was a 1:31.5.
On comes qualifying....ALL that practice down the drain. Couldn't put a full quick lap together so I settled for 13th in a 2300 point room.
To the race start....I completely forgot it had a false start penalty. DOH!
So I started from last. At the end of lap 1 I managed to get all the way to 9th. Then came the start of the spin fest. After the first two I had just stop caring and laughed my whole way through the race. Poor result but lots of fun.

I have to say it is getting old to be driven off the road a couple of times and have your race butchered every damned FIA manufacturers race. This time I'm running 7th and bam.. then back on track 11th then bam. Both pretty clearly deliberate but the current penalty system doesn't care about people putting you off wide into the dirt, and if it does the 2 seconds they get is nothing compared to the 8 places you can lose going off at the last turn of willow plus the off seems to be pretty hard on the tyres.

That combined with the Ferrari apparently eating tyres (which is probably my own fault using AT) and its another 16th or whatever. meh.

I just absolutely threw away a 2nd place finish at Willow.

On lap 3 or 4 in turn 2 I tried entering wider and lifting later than my usual approach, and the extra speed caused me to understeer just enough to push out to the dirt, at which point Willow took no prisoners and shot me out into another time zone. Lost a solid 20 seconds and 10+ places.

I might’ve been able to recover a bit but I did almost the exact same thing right before the final corner a few laps later. After pitting I was last (16th) and over a minute behind the leader. Only positions I gained after that we’re from people going off about as bad as I had.

Finished 11th after qualifying 3rd, real disappointed with this one.

I was going to skip this round but then I realized that I still had a chance of knocking off a low score.

The room for Manufacturer's didn't offer great points but the field was probably the most Jag-friendly of the night. My flier could've been a bit better had I hooked up the final corner but it was good enough for the 5th spot. Had someone in a Hyundai up ahead but that was the only position I had a chance of taking. Then the leader in a Cayman went off and I was starting to close in on the Hyundai by the time it was time to pit. I managed to save enough fuel to jump into 3rd but realized the former leader just needed to clear 4th to come right at me. Then the new leader in the Megane spun off and I was suddenly in a shocking 2nd! I really thought I had a chance of holding it.

Nope! The Megane and Porsche managed to clear the Hyundai and in an instant, they were right behind me on the final lap. I tried to pull off a miracle with the Fat Cat but got passed coming into the uphill section and had to settle for 4th. I did score enough to eliminate a low score so it was a good race.

I waited until the last slot to do Nations for a quiet lobby. Instead, it was a high points room with several good drivers. Ran a low 32 flyer which was quite good but I screwed up the hairpin while going for a 31. It did give me 4th which was great since that was going to put me on the inside. What wasn't great was me trying something different than everyone else to get off the line and I did a Mark Webber by losing two spots. Worse, it was my first time in that much traffic and I wasn't prepared for so much dirty air. At least I settled myself going into Degner but then 5th was looking like they were going to fly off into the dirt. They kinda did but somehow pulled it back on track, catching me by surprise. I had to swerve right to avoid contact but I nudged them anyways. I then had to lift just to hang on through Degner 2 but that meant the driver behind hit me. They spun and I think that ended up causing chaos.

Through all that, I was back in 4th and was not too far behind 2nd and 3rd. However, my pace was uneven and for the millionth time, I was suddenly struggling at Degner when I had zero issues before. No matter because in the end, 2nd and 3rd crashed. 1st was simply too far away at that point but I might've forced them into a no-stopper. At some point, I thought I was in trouble with fuel but I believe I ended up saving an extra lap instead. Didn't hurt me at all, though. Got 2nd and my best points haul this season. I'll gladly take that! 👍

I was in that race too!! Unfortunately, It looks like my GT-R Gr.4 always eats some barbecue before the races, It becomes so much slower than the others. Started last, 0.5 secs behind the next driver (At least, I could only climb up XD). During the race, my goal was to avoid being trapped into the sand or making mistakes with unnecessary fighting, because my pace wasn't competitive at all. Finished 13th or 14th (can't remember now).

But my surprise was the Nations Race. Since I'm using the controller, I believed that the race could turn into a Wreck fest or something frustrating, so I was hesitant into racing it. After finishing the Manufacturers Race first, The Clock was counting 2 minutes before closing the entries. I said, "OK let's do it". The Mercedes was much more controllable than the practice runs, but It also kept the Diva Feelings. But in the Qualify, I ended up with a completely surprise 2nd Place! During the Race, I was able to lead some laps comfortably, but the Diva slapped me on the Spoon entrance and I committed a mistake at the Casio Chicane, ending up in 3rd place with much more points than I expected. My compliments go to a driver named HugoStiglitz_420. He got pole 0,5 secs faster than me, was caught by a crash in turn 2 with other driver at the start, lost a lot of time but managed to win the race. Great performance .

So If anyone wants an advice, even if you aren't comfortable before a round, race it without commitment, who knows what is going to happen (And you can score some unexpected points :)).
