[Alpha Cipher]

Always been a Lamborghini fan so I've raced with Lamborghini in the Final Season, but struggled with the Gr.4 Huracan's tyres being AWD. With La Sarthe being the only Gr.4 race where tyre multiplyer is in double figures [x16] with the rest quite low in Season 1, I might have better hopes for it now. 💡

I salute you for being able to manage thr Gr. 3 car

But my favourite moment of the 2018 Series is during the final round of Season 2 Nations, when I escaped a carnage caused by @Alpha Cipher that launched @Rangeraus into the two Japanese guys battling each other. That was fun .

...but yes, that summed up my Season 2 Nations really. A series of poor results meant that I needed about 1200 points to qualify for 'S' Rating, and my race was already not going well before that crash. Although I will say it was quite an experience using a wheel with bumper cam and having a crash of that magnitude!

As it transpired I had a much better Season 3 and finished 20th for my nation. With enough withdrawals I may have scraped an invite for the finals but it wasn't to be.

Also - hope the Asian finals aren't first weekend in October, that's the Bathurst 1000 weekend!!

I was actually hoping it would be at the Bathurst 1000 but that's very wishful thinking
Also, imagine if it was at the Japanese GP
Mind you now that I think about it, GT events are kinda big enough to hold as stand alone events

Don't be - I was run wide in 130R and probably came across the track a bit too much when rejoining. Unfortunate accident but these happen sometimes.

Just had a thought, wouldn't it be cool to give in game prize money for final positions in a season? you see people moaning about having to grind to get the 20mil cars, why not give the championships added value by giving 10mil for 1st down to say, 50k for 50th in region or manufacturer? or something to that effect, I think it would be quite cool

RHs aren't so bad though, but slower by a whole second at 1:29.900. At least it doesn't want to kill me this time, just a wrist concussion from all that steering

Ever since the new model got introduced, pad users (or least ones using stick steering) have had to deal with a front tyre wear handicap. In tonight's Nations race it may prove the difference between a viable no-stop on a wheel and being forced to pit on the pad.

If only I wasn't trash tier on a wheel...

If only I wasn't trash tier on a wheel...

I think a one stop will be forced- that tire wear isn't going to last anyone the whole race

Struggled last night with the first corner. The fastest legitimate racing line is easy, but keeping those behind me from a grid start in mind, I'm not sure if that line will let me survive the 1st corner. So considering a wider line [with penalty] on first corner for the first lap.

I went wide on T1 as well, made the right call since the road down there was already saturated no one crashed though, as far as what I saw

Had a.. well, interesting race today
I messed up my first flyer and got damage, so I had to go back to the pits and redo my lap. I did this by going back to the menu though, since there wasn't enough time. the stars aligned and, boom I goy P9!!! I dunno how, but I'm taking it

It was a cliff from there though the Lambo had great pace for the first two laps, even climbing as high as 5th and challenging for third, then my RH tires said "yea no I don't like you" and suddenly I have no more grip

I killed myself and the car on lap 5, getting some suspension damage. Eeeeh, it's only one lap left before I pit anyway, might as well carry this damage for another lap. At this point I'm already so far behind that I just wanted to set the FL went to pits, got RM, and off on my merry way

Until I died again on my flyer

Rinse and repeat. This time I didn't die, but I got a time that's 2/10ths off the FL I just limped my way to the finish... or well, tried to. I didn't finish the race

All in all, 10/10 would regret choosing Lambo for this Season but hell, it's fun

No-one pit in the nations race I just did.

Its far too hard to overtake and what you might gain from new tyres I think you're going to lose again getting past.

Picked up some damage in the first lap but I don't think it mattered.

I streamed my race, starting 5th in the same race as you. Only car to start on mediums I found out, and managed to lose a bunch of places from the start...

Was a good race, different strategies, I made a silly error resulting in a penalty for me and ended up 9th? Was surprised to see no stoppers ruling the roost.

Watching the first part and crap I didn't leave enough space for you on T3 L1 sorry mate. I thought I left enough room

Good race though, I remember having short skirmishes with you here and there throughout the race

No-one pit in the nations race I just did.

Its far too hard to overtake and what you might gain from new tyres I think you're going to lose again getting past.

For the Lambo I think even with no damage I had to pit. The rears were lighting up the whole time and on Lap 5 I already had 50% tire wear on my rears, and they were RH

Well, that hurt.

Started 3rd. Made a great start. Lead for 5laps and managed to touch my left rear on the curb of T3. Too much understeer. Let the first 9-10 cars go by and rejoined safely.

Pitted for RMs, fell to 15th and ran those til lap 8. Put the RH back on and pushed. Made a couple passes and spots from cars pitting. Nice 2 second penalty on the final corner. Yay.

@05XR8 - You had a nice lead till you ended in the gravel trap, the Vette in second was trying it's best to stay with you and I was trying my best to keep-up with the two of you.
* first time I managed to stay with the leaders using the G29 set-up.

For the people who have ran the race so far, is a no stop possible on mediums, or do you need to go with hard right off the bat and fuel save your balls off?

@DC2_Evan - I went for Race Hards from the start and it depends on how you manage your front tires. It's possible to no stop if your smooth.

* You might find it difficult with racing mediums to finish 13laps
** Didn't really fuel save during the race and I was running with TC2 the entire race

Good to know. I guess I should pick a manu tonight and go in blind lol. At least the choice is only for the off season. I'm torn between Mercedes, Hyundai, and Team Corvette

Hopefully tuning allowed in the Mini Nations race is a sign of good things to come. Also happy they are finally allowing other tire options. 👍

We’re the Corvette and Alfa competitive with the no stop strategy? No stopping seems risky with the tire degradation.

I only go with manus that I'm consistent with in gr3, and FR in gr4. I've put roughly 900 or 1000 miles on my gr3 'Vette, which is the most I've put on any car in the game. I just like the amg gt3 and the gr3 Hyundai because it's easy to drive and consistent. Maybe I'll flip a coin or look for cool liveries to make my decision lol

@SpecMiata-JSW - They actually finished 1st (Alfa started 4th) and 2nd (Corvette started 6th)
3rd place went to a Lexus that went for a Tire Stop on lap 7 of 13 (Started on Pole)

Thanks @AutechSkyline , I'm still undecided if I will go 1 stop or no stop. Hell, I still don't know which Manufacturer I'm going with, it'll have to be a game time decision.

All in all, 10/10 would regret choosing Lambo for this Season but hell, it's fun

If only I’d waited 24 hours. Tonights race will be fun then. So far the benchmark to beat is to finish .

I have to agree with the commentators . When Being Too Passionate is a BAD Thing! Nico and IOF have payed a very high price . Bad for GT Sport , very bad for all Brasilian players , even more when this hapen in a TOP 24 final event. It happen to me some very few times because of lack of skills , this is unacceptable from very skilled top drivers like this.
