It’s hell out there today. Just had a race where I got the pit bug in qualifying but somehow glitched through the pit wall and ended up out on track. Didn’t get a good qualifying lap started 15th managed to finish 7th. Very bumpy, no one seems to want to race nice with the penalty system like it is.
Going again, let’s hope I get a good result.

Tried to take part in the 5pm EU race, got connection error before joining. Well...
Took part in the 6:20pm race and surprisingly qualified on pole (this never happens). Race started, led until lap 5 (about 3secs in front) and got a disconnect again! ****! BTW in both occasions only GT Sport had trouble, nothing else (not PSN, not anything). When I was back in the menu the game was connected as well! Aaaarrrgghh
I bet in the next races I will get together with stronger opponents again so I won't have the chance to repeat that...

Or not, as it has cost me 1600 DR...

There's no corner that someone won't punt you off - and that's not even counting the utter arsewits who are just ploughing through everything. The Vantage in the race @stpatty and I were just in got himself a 3.5s penalty for cutting the pitlane trying to pass me on our qualifying laps, then cut the Senna S just to hit me, then spent the whole race hitting everyone - he must have smashed through turn one because he jumped from 18th to 14th on lap one. I sacrificed my race to keep him where he belonged.

First Interlagos was a proper tears and snotters head's gone affair, redeemed only by putting a Porsche into the wall when he was trying to squeeze me off to the inside coming out of the last corner.

Second attempt was a bottled qualifying followed by 18th to 7th while I left Famine and his new BFF (I think it was just you, he seemed okay when he was near me at the start) behind and put in the mother of all sends on a Renault on lap 10. I wish the Gr.4 GT-R wasn't 4WD.

I also saw him hit the Hungarian Ferrari and the German chap in the Megane at the end (although the German didn't finish as low as the Vantage tried to make him finish...).


Getting hit on every apex by the car behind is getting tedious. I actually got brake-checked in T4 on the outlap in qualifying. Ridiculous.

Yes it’s bad. I just did something I’m not proud of, there was a guy who pushed me wide to get past, I managed to close to him as we approached the first S section, I ran him off the road. Like I said I’m not proud of it but he was in the way and making a nuisance of himself.
Can we get back to revenge free racing please everyone

Interlagos is an especially bad track for this, for me at least. I'm trying to take wide lines through the infield section to compensate for the stupid GT-R's understeer, and everyone takes this as an invite to launch it into a non-existent space on my inside. Shambolic stuff.

I agree about wishing the GT-R was RWD. This could have been PD's opportunity to make a baby GT-R GT3. Only understeer I experience, were in my final laps as the RM tyres were beginning to fall off. Exiting T10, I was giving it a little more throttle, as I saw my gap to the leader was coming down. Wasn't enough.

No idea how you managed 6 laps on mediums. I had to go 7/5 and even then my last lap was awful.

At least the 3rd attempt was better. Qualified 0.09 secs behind pole in 4th (38.7, Half a second slower however than my other attempt before 38.2).

Didn't bother burning fuel or change tires during qualifying as I know I'd mess the deciding lap up so just went for it and got clean air. Looking at the mess it creates for those who are waiting for the last second I can only recommend that.

First could get away as I was held up early and finally got 2nd in lap 4. 1st was about 4.5 secs away. Medium tires were fine and pitted in lap 6.
After that just followed 1st home while the gap behind got bigger and bigger. Finished 2nd (4 secs behind) with 10 secs to 3rd. Am happy again And got almost the amount of DR back that that I lost earlier with the disconnect and also gained 223 points for the manufacturers cup

Smashed into Juncao twice by the same Spaniard in a black, and very crappily M Sport liveried, BMW M4. The second one didn't quite go as he planned...

Wow really is a war zone out there tonight. Got smashed all over the place.
Started 5th and 2 cars in front took each other out on first corner. I had a faster run out of the esses and went to take the lead down the back straight but car leading decided he didn’t like that so weaved across to barge me out the way. Settled back into 3rd. Guy leading weaving all the time blocking the 2nd car from overtaking. Lambo’s tires were done by end of lap 4 so struggled round on the 5th lap losing time and pitted. Had clear road after pits and made up lots of time. Was running second for final 6 laps defending until someone on the 3rd to last corner decided to come through the back of all of us like a bowling ball. Couldn’t help but turn aggressive out of frustration and divebomb myself into 5th on the last corner. (Someone had tire penalty so gained a place). Lobby full of everyone swearing at each other!

To be fair, I only said "anus", but it was starred out.

Well I'm doing 1 race, and 1 race only... The TT is one of if not the worst car at this track and by a substantial margin, last time I raced this combo I was at the back by miles ! We'll see if we can get a little race going all the same!

I was in this lobby. I had no pace at all in the Mazda. The understeer was unreal

I tried racing twice in the manu tonight. Second race was great : clean race, qualified 9th. I was on for a 6th spot finish but 3 guys ignored the tire requirements so I got a 4th place finish in the end! My best result in an FIA race.

Thanks! It could've been a nice fight with #1 as we had similar pace, but as I had been stuck behind two others until lap 4 it wasn't going to happen. Still a nice race though. Didn't expect the Toyota to be as competitive due to its lack of high speed. Your Mazda's time will come

5 mins. Best bet is to grab a slipstream rather than fuel burn (or both if your lobby obliges).

An other ram race.
I did the normal block Q so I was expecting it. Started 10th in the race decided that if anyone is close behind let them pass & just play it save. I was doing great started on hard so I can pit after the front pack got up to P4 P3 just ahead then I noticed this bright green hurricane behind me loosing control which thought ok it will soon spin it self off.
No I was wrong it managed to keep the car on the track I guess the driver was getting ready to take me out because it did rammed me off track on the 1st corner I got penalties it never then to complete the job the car spun me around & drove off. I am sure I saw a smile & hand wave to say thanks .
I ended up P8.

I will keep saying it being back the bad Penalties that most people said was no good . It was better than letting rammers drive by smiling & also stop them & yes maybe the innocent move up the Dr ladder.

Should be 5 minutes every race no? I think that was a general change though I would have to go and look at the announcement.

I thought so too but it was back to 10 min for St.Croix.
