Man, my time is a 1:24.4XX with the GT-R. You are only a tenth faster! Let me feel alien for a bit..:p
Haha I was using the Atenza. It's faster so you might want to try it ;)
Wow my best practice time is 1:24.1xx. So close to an alien. But I didn’t have the chance to set a Q time.
If you had fuel load simulated you're actually faster than me :) you're not far off from my free practice time either- 1:23.958

Anyway, the reason I chose that car is because it felt the safest when I was pumping the gas pedal. It worked, sort of. At no point in the race did I spin because of the sudden inputs I gave it. I was able to climb to 13th because of people making mistakes, but I made one myself at T1 and got relegated to last. Ended up 17th, 359 points.

"Fastest driver in Singapore"
: )
wHO PUT THAT THERE MAY I KILL THAT GUY THANKS FOR RUBBING SALT TO MY WOUND

Gonna dive into the Manu Cup now in my Lexus, not that I think it'll go well either.

I was using Lancer.
In the end, no race for me tonight. I have no confidence at Tokyo :yuck:

Haha same. If it weren't for the fact that I've yet to race at the Manu Cup, I wouldn't have done it at all

The race went better than I expected it to be. Like the Nations Race, I was able to climb up to12th from 17th because of mistakes. But then my lack of practice at the track started to show itself (just like Brands ) I scraped the wall just too hard twice, giving me a 10-second penalty. The only difference between this and Brands is that at least I know where my mistakes are, and I knew I had it coming several moments before the wall scrape. At Brands I was flying through T1 at one moment, and then facing the other way at the next
The 10-second penalty put me back to 17th, just like Brands. 249 points.

At least it's not "FaStEsT dRiVeR iN sInGaPoRe" anymore

I'll be live streaming the first nations cup split tonight (Manufacturers will be much later on) if anyone is interested (Also not ignoring my BoP thread for those that have replied I just don't like double posting so I'll reply once I release the BoP test (After Nations)). I'll be using something..... unusual for Nations cup ;)!

Starts in 5 mins ish

Entered the 2nd to last Manufacturers race (10:10pm time slot in Asia), not a track I liked as I never did any racing till said manufacturers race. Qualified 10th with a 1:20 something.. Pole time was a 1:17 something using a Honda NSX.
Race starts and the two guys in front of me started trading paint which ended up with both hitting the wall allowing me to sneak up two spots, then just tried to hang onto the tails of the cars ahead, went to the pits on lap 9 with a GTR ahead of me, left the pits ahead of the GTR as I needed less fuel, but lost the spot to the GTR and to the rapidly closing atenza (who had a penalty), so just tailed the atenza and got the spot back at the line as the atenza served it's penalty. Finished p7 and managed to avoid getting any penalty.
* Race Winner was in a Citroen

Hmm, worth trying the beetle for the nations tonight. It is almost as fast as the RS01 and much nicer on its tyres.
Just picked up 6 places in my race so worked well for me.

Watched your Nations stream....a good drive.

I might do this race later, and try your choice of vehicle.

I see I'm not the only one who gets a bit warm after hard concentration during a race.

Was about to finish 2nd or 3rd on Brands Hatch but made a silly mistake and spun...managed to finish 9...overall I'm happy with the result - started 8th but my main concern was to be consistent as Brands Hatch is one of the most dangerous tracks with those fast turns...did pretty well considering the fact that 18 laps had to be made...

Cheers for watching and thanks! Was a tad scary with that guy lagging and then just the fact I needed the points so was driving so conservatively haha! Sweating buckets with 2 fans on me is quite insane! Glad it's not 35 degrees in here like it used to be! Good luck for the race later! You certainly won't be disappointed with the car choice.

Pff what a race at Brands Hatch in the GT-R! Started P15, after the pits on L10 i drove P9. With 2 laps to go i get a warning "Fuel remaining 1.1 lap". No! My stupid *** fueled for a lap to short!
So i had to turn it down all the way to 6 to make it. I was passed by 2 cars, but the last 3 corners from up the hill i got 0.3 laps fuel. In thought i'll put the map on 1 again and i'll see. 2 drivers in front were out of fuel so i regained 9th! 100m in front of the finish line my fuel was empty. Rolled over the finish just to make it at 9th! Happy me! Gained a not so much 7XX FIA Points and 132 DR Points.

Some hard but fair driving again! No big mistakes today, as i find Brands Hatch very hard to be consistent. 1 wheel on the grass on the wrong place and you're gone! But went all good! I think the practice in the lobbys with the big boys paid off a little.

Gotta put some more fuel in next time though!

Between your race @Tidgney and the BOP test I think you have basically ****ed my chance of holding onto my VW SS rating for more than 1 more season :)

Both my races went pretty good to be honest. Managed to pick off a few cars in the Nations, and worked my way up to 7th from starting in 13th. even managed a pass into the 1st corner, something I had never managed against good drivers like these. I do think the Beetle is slightly easier to drive than the RS01 or the VW GTI VGT, plus my livery is way cooler than everyone else's :)

For the Manufacturers, it was just a matter of trying to keep out of the walls. While the Scirocco is good around corners, it has no acceleration. Got shown the wall early in the race that put me down to 14th, but managed to get back up to 10th, and had a couple of fun overtaking moves on people out of turn 4 and into turn 5. Just a lift and drop a gear and it could take the corner with ease and allowed me to get the run on faster cars.

Haha I'm sorry... or maybe not I've revealed a lot of peoples secrets with the BoP test :D!

Right manufacturers cup is going to be streamed in 10 minutes... Prepare to see how bad FWD is in group 4 category with tyre wear!

Was tough going in tonight's Nations race. Qualified way way down in 17th with the Walkenhorst M6, but was able to keep the car on track whilst others were falling off. A calm and calculated strategy helped me net a top 5 finish, bagging 695 points and 873 DR score.

Well I will set video's uploading later but it was a tough night in DR C but I am actually satisfied with my results today, it's what I expected at least.

Nations Cup:

My qualifying was very difficult due to lots of traffic and cars spinning but I managed to qualify in 18th place but on reflection I should have picked the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo for this race than the Porsche 911, lesson learnt!

Race started off well with no incidents in turn 1 for a change but caught out by a slow Lamborghini in T3 and ended up with a 10 second penalty for side swipe of that players car so that killed any chance of a good result from the get go.

I proceeded to carry on and focus with the race and at the end of Lap 3 was up to 13th place but then had an unexpected challenge from behind on the start finish straight, a Merc AMG came down the inside where there was no space to go and the 911 being a trigger happy spinner I got spun off into the grass from the Merc forcing it's way through.

So dropped back to 17th and decide to get rid of the penalty but it was all over at that point but still managed to finish 16th and got fastest driver for the UK but I was the only Brit in the race.

Manufacturers Cup:

Here we have a more positive outcome given this was Central Inner Loop of Tokyo Expressway.

I knew from my practice I was quick around this track with the GT-R but I was very aware of the wall penalties and the potential for carnage with the dread new 10 second penalty's.

So I was a bit light on the gas when it came to qualifying and started 15th on the grid and as my driver thinking mind suspected there was to be a great deal of trouble in the opening of the actual race itself.

So the final result was an 8th place which gave me some satisfaction to end my championship races tonight knowing I was well on the pace for this race and had I not incurred myself a few wall penalties and taking them at the wrong time it could have been a 3rd place.

However given the up front drivers were of the mentality I am coming through like it or not I figured it is best to play safe and not argue.

So I finish the night on max SR points again and back to rank S but DR took quite a hit but I suspect I can fix that in the coming
days as taking time out from the game from now for two weeks as other stuff on and Sonic Mania to play.

Will be back for the final season though.

A driver ruin the nations Cup race for most of the people giving breaktesting and so unfair penalties  How ironic  Still ended 12th with 923 points :boggled:
But then came the Man. series at Tokyo............and boy oh boy it was perfect for the Alfa, like I imagined last Saturday :D I qualified in the middle of a alien grid, including the always friendly @mthomas_95 :O Still it was an aggressive race, but I managed to get 7th and 1700 points

Came 14th out of 19th in the Nations Cup race. I was in a Peugeot RCZ Gr.3 as I practiced in that car. A few dirty players and the fact that Brands Hatch is kinda narrow ruined this race for me.

My driver rating is now C while my sportsmanship rating is now S.

only had time to do the Nations Cup today, and that turned out to be a waste of time

practice was a bit hit and miss, beat my PB but wasn't super consistent. quali I messed up my first lap, as I always do, and my second was just a bit rubbish. pitted, just about got round in time for a third lap, which was better but only put me 10th

someone got me into T1 with a bold move, fair enough, and then I gained a few places as others fell off the track, was up to 6th. but then someone decided to dive up the inside of the final corner out of nowhere and punted me off into the gravel and facing the wrong way. so down to second last I went.

put in some OK laps either side of my pit stop, gained a place or two before the car behind tried a questionable move up the inside of one of the fast corners round the back of the track, so we both went off. by that point I was too far back to catch anyone ahead, and too annoyed to drive well, so ended up finishing 3rd last.

couple of hundred points, and lost a fair amount of DR. probably shouldn't have bothered!

Good fun tonight at Brands Hatch and Tokyo. Raced the latter to the sounds of Wangan Midnight Maxinum Tune, courtesy of the PS4’s Spotify app. Nothing like a bit of a Eurobeat to get the heart pumping. Arcade perfect!

The outer loop at Tokyo is a great fun, but my god are the penalties there are harsh. Misjudge the penultimate bend for instance and your automatically 5 seconds in the red! Seems like the penalty system here is a little broken. Amazes me how we have this as an FIA approved circuit when the track count is already pretty thin. Perfect for arcade thrills perhaps, but not so much competitive online play.

Nations race went surprisingly well. Managed a fifth place finish on one of my least favourite tracks despite starting ninth. Manufacturers race couldn't have gone worse. Started on pole and in the heat of defending my lead I forgot to fuel save before the pit stop :dunce:. Ended up having to crawl around at the end on fuel mix 6 which basically meant I was standing still as apart from the last corner, you're never doing less than 100mph. Crawled home in 11th place. Argh! Oh well. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the race was as normally Tokyo Expressway, no matter the configuration, is total carnage. Only a couple of minor scratches and barges here and there.

*scratches head*

FIA race... Gr.4 cars... Tokyo... all 20 drivers at B/S... finished the race with no penalties, and every driver with a blue S.

What is this madness?

I think I was in this race with you .

I finished the race with a blue sr even though i'd accumulated 14 secs of penalty through getting bashed about a bit . Very odd !

I crossed the line with 11 secs of penalty and thought I was going to lose sr points but didn't .

I did enjoy the race though and the Audi tt stood up well to Tokyo

My destruction derby..

Was going for risk 3 wide being PUG driver, risk backfired with bad drivers ahh well. Lets hope group 3 on Saturday gives some good racing! Thanks for anyone who tuned in by the way (To either stream), was a really fun stream and we actually managed to have a fairly good race at Tokyo after that incident :D! Although it seemed laggier than usual with some drivers (Guys I've never raced before so not sure)? others were fine which was odd.

Ah yes, I remember that. There were three Brits in the lobby and we finished 6th, 7th and 8th

I couldn't get the car hooked up in qualy - I'd been doing 19.3s in practice, but only just nicked a 20.8 in qualy. Race laps were all 1'21.x until I pitted, then smashed a 19.7 straight out of the box. Thinking about it, I should have kept the tyres, because I'd probably have made it and not suffered the 8s static time for the tyre change.

So I started 14th, ran up as high as 2nd, pitted, came out in 9th and finished 7th
